Jiang Miaomiao transmigrated into an apocalyptic book and became an insignificant cannon fodder. Considering all the brutal encounters behind, she decided to lie down and peacefully wait for death. She stayed at home and lived as long as she could.

In order to eat and drink well before she dies, she stored a lot of supplies.

Unexpectedly, one day a man broke into her house and was even more salty than her. He stayed and refused to leave. Her three boxes of potato chips were eaten up by that man. Her six boxes of river snail rice noodles were eaten up by that man. Her ten boxes of walnuts were also gnawed by that man!

Jiang Miaomiao was furious and decided to drive him out. So she secretly followed him in the middle of the night and saw him walk into a horde of zombies with a knife on his hands. He looked handsome as he easily killed those zombies.

The man came back and washed the blood stains. She was pushed to wake up while she was pretending to be asleep, "Give me a spicy duck neck."

Jiang Miaomiao gave it to him decisively with both hands, "Eat, it's all yours!"

A magical thing happened since then, her supplies... Why is it continuously increasing?

#SPOILER!!! Our MC transmigrated into a zombie apocalypse novel into a cannonfodder that will die during the escape so she figured that its better to just NOT escape and be a salted fish at home. Lol. Laters, ML came along and joined her salted fish life. Romantic developments does not start right away, MC & ML are more like roommates at first. ML slowly changes MC from being indifferent to her own life to someone who wants to survive. Sweeett ^^

First things first, our MC is unwilling to suffer. That's the reason for her laziness, she's willing to live to however long she's able to, but she's not clinging into life. She's ready to commit suicide anytime in case zombies come into her house cos she knows she can't win against them. Then comes ML, he has been living a literal action film outside, escaping, fighting zombies, SURVIVAAALLL!!! and all that, then after he comes into MC's home, the style of painting change into It's a Wonderful Life. Lol. He starts to change MC little by little, persuading her to go outside (She's never step out since the apocalypse) and even made a bet with her, he wants her to stop thinking about giving up right away when she encounters danger, he wants her to STRUGGLE to live.

They change houses multiple times due to circumstances, and I like that each house they changed into, they try to make it a Home and be as comfortable as possible. They only joined the base near the end, cos ML is #spoiler the key to developing a vaccine, but most of the novel are really just their two-person world.

It's different from the usual zombie novel, for one, there are no abilities and stuff. Everyone are just normal people (except ML. lol). MC is self-aware that she's lazy and afraid of suffering, and that's alright I think, cos its her own life and she's not affecting anyone else. ML slowly starts to influence/change her later so that shows some character growth. #spoiler #spoiler, they also didn't want the whole glory/hero life after everything was over and chose a quiet life of 2 people again in the countryside~~
