You work as a journalist for a online news press that covers issues and things that normal news stations don't. Being in this line of work means a lot of adventure, getting into all sorts of trouble and taking risks. Not that you mind. In fact, you loved your job since you're an active person, always on the go and flexible.
One day, you were called into the headquarters by your boss. Upon arriving there, you were greeted by a desk littered with newspapers and files. “Heya Mr.Ken, heard ya called. What's with all these stuff anyways?” you asked. Mr.Ken turned to face you, looking ecstatic, eyes gleaming with determination as if he had discovered something amazing. Feeling a little bit weirded out by his unusual behavior you coughed a bit and looked around the office awkwardly. Mr.Ken suddenly exclaimed: “(Y/N)! I need you, to go downtown to find something. Anything! Interesting about this juicy scoop!” slamming a newspaper from some other local press. Taking a glance at the front page, you saw pictures of 5 men and giant red texts: 5 DEATH ROW CONVICTS ON THE LOOSE. The faces of most of the men looked cold and emotionless except for the tanned bald one. He had an eerie smirk plastered on his chiseled face and it was giving you the creeps. Apparently his name was Spec.
“So? You up for it, (Y/N)? We need to get something out of this that no other press and news network has their hands on! And make a groundbreaking headline if you were to dig up some conspiracy or rumours!” He laughed. “Well... Yeah. Sure. Why not?” sounding unsure whether you should take up this task with your guts telling you otherwise. “Then what are you waiting for, champ? Get to it hup, hup!” Mr.Ken rushed you out of his office shutting the door behind you and leaving you in a daze. Looking down at your camera and the file in hands, you began planning how you were going to get your hands on some big, juicy information and sources and went on your way home.

After locking the door to your flat that you and a friend shared and taking every supplies needed for this new found scoop, you drove off downtown in search of some interesting event. While driving down a neighborhood in town, you can across a vast field. There your eyes caught sight of a boy probably in his teens and a large, towering figure dressed in a black trenchcoat. Slowing down your car to get a better view at giant, you squinted your eyes to fucus on the figure and realised it was Spec! One of the escaped death row convicts! Grasping on your steering wheel tightly as you witnessed the man pounded the poor boy into the grass and maniacally laughing and shouting something about “the hand that loves you” and something else in between the lines, for you were too scared to get near to the scene.
However, your journalist instincts kicked in and you raised your cyamera up to snap a photo of the shocking scene. But because you were in a panic mode you've forgotten to switch off your flash and Spec looked up to your direction, grinning like a mad dog. Now in a full fledged panic mode you dodged down under the car seat, attempting to hide yourself from him even though you know that he has clearly seen you. Shaking under your seat you shut your eyes tightly hoping he doesn't come over and bracing for something to happen. But, yoy were only greeted with silence. Opening your eyes again, you looked up to your windscreen and saw Spec grinning down at your form. You screamed in terror as he started walking to your door and yanked it open with such brute force you swore the whole car shook. But instead of doing anything, Spec just stared at your shaking form and gave a wide, close-eyed smile. “Oh my what do we have here? A little birdie who couldn't help take pictures without someone else's permission. You must've thought I'm good looking to do that.” he chuckled, just by the sound of his voice you were already shaking even more. “p-please I just so happen to pass by a-and uhh... Well the field that you were in l-looked like a nice shot! Haha... Ha...” you trailed off, unsure what other reasons you could make up. Suddenly, sirens pierced through the air as Spec paused and looked back and realised police cars were surrounding the field area were the boy(Baki) was lying. Turning his attention back to you again: “Well, looks like its my cue to leave. Hope to see you again, birdie!” he giggled like a giant man child, making his way to the cops. Still crouching under your car seats, you breathed a sigh of relief, “Well that was a stupid fucking move, (Y/N). You could've got killed...” now mentally praying you won't get on his bad side if you were to ever bump into him again.

Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons: Year One
Build a Dungeon. Slay Heroes. Survive Finals. Wounded Army vet Logan Murray thought mimics were the stuff of board games and dungeon manuals… right up until one ate him. In a flash of snapping teeth, Logan suddenly finds himself on the doorstep to another world. He’s been unwittingly recruited into the Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons—the most prestigious interdimensional school dedicated to training the monstrous guardians who protect the Tree of Souls from so-called heroes. Heroes who would destroy the universe if it meant a shot at advancement. Unfortunately, as a bottom-tier cultivator with a laughably weak core, Logan’s dungeon options aren’t exactly stellar, and he finds himself reincarnated as a lowly fungaloid, a three-foot-tall mass of spongy mushroom with fewer skills than a typical sewer rat. If he’s going to survive the grueling challenges the academy has in store, he’ll need to ace the odd assortment of classes—Fiendish Fabrication, Dungeon Feng Shui, the Ethics of Murder 101—and learn how to turn his unusual guardian form into an asset instead of a liability. And that’s only if the gargoyle professor doesn’t demote him to a doomed wandering monster first…
