《One of Us (Hitachiin Twins)》One of Us 9

They entered the lunchroom and sat at a table in the corner, alone.
They had ordered the same thing, and ate in silence until a boy holding a stuffed bunny approached them.
"Excuse me," He said in a childish tone, "Our table is filled up. Do you mind if we sit here with you?"
Right when they were about to say no, Hikaru looked up to see a tall, dangerous looking guy who could pummel them if they objected.
"S-sure," They reluctantly agreed.
The blond boy smiled and sat down. The human tree sat down next to him, and they began to eat as well. Kaoru noticed that all the small one ate was cake.
"Thank you," He said, smiling. "I'm Haninozuka, but you can call me Hunny. This is Takashi, but call him Mori."
********
Hikaru and Kaoru honestly didn't know what to do. Nobody had approached them like this in years. What were they supposed to say?
"So you guys are first years? No wonder we haven't seen you around. Takashi and I are third years." The boy called Hunny was trying desperatley to make conversation, but the twins just wouldn't bite. Finally, Hikaru said something.
"We don't normally talk to people," He said, looking at his feet. Kaoru nodded and followed his gaze. Hunny laughed a little.
"That's pretty stupid. Why not? You can't make freinds if you don't talk to people." He chirped. The twins looked up in unison and gazed at the boy with a look of sadness mixed with confusion. Mori gasped and grabbed Hunny's arm. He jerked the small boy out of his seat and swung him over his shoulder with ease. He looked relativley calm, but his eyes were blazing.
"Takashi! Hey!" Hunny flipped out of his grasp and landed on his feet. "What was that for?!"

Mori whipped around and spoke silently, "Don't you know who these two are? I finally figured it out. These are the twins everyone keeps warning us about!"
Hunny shrieked slightly and lurched backwards. He sent the twins a horrified expression and ran off with Mori close behind.
"I'm suprised they didn't notice earlier," Kaoru whispered sadly.
"Yes. I mean, we are the only pair of twins in the goddamn school," Hikaru whimpered.
They both sat there, unmoving and drowning in self-pity. The world was dark around them, and they felt icilated from the entire school. Eventually, Hikaru and Kaoru both stood up at the same time and began to make thier way to the hallway.
"We should eat in our classroom from now on," Hikaru straightened his uniform.
"Like last year?" Kaoru whispered. He looked at his brother with just plain defeat.
"Like last year. And all the years before that." Hikaru replied, his voice cracking and turning bitter. "Why do they all have to be the same?"

Haruhi unpacked her school bag and placed it at the end of her bed. It had been an interesting first day, to say the least. She was so confused about everything, and she didn't even know why. Why whould she worry about two boys who saved her from the street? She owed them big time, and she decided to repay them with her trust. But then there were Tamaki Senpai and Kyouya Senpai. They both seemed pretty serious about how bad the Hitachiins were, yet they wouldn't even tell her what they did to deserve all of this torment. The look on both of thier faces when they came home from school was enough to tell her how their day went.

Haruhi slipped on a nightgown from her now organized closet, and began to head downstairs. Once she reached the kitchen, she realized that neither of them had touched their food.
They must be really upset, she thought, I should probably go bring this to them. It may help.
She placed all of the plates and drinks onto a tray and made her way to their room. It was a difficult journey because she had to balance everything on the trays, and avoid hitting random coffee tables and other items down as she walked. Finally, she made it to their door.
"Um... H-hey guys? I have your food, if you want it." She called though the door. She didn't want to barge in and be rude, but after several minutes of knocking and shouting, she opened the door and walked inside. The room was actually really clean, which wasn't what she was expecting. There was one king size bed on the far right side of the room, and many dressers and vases decorating everywhere else. She could see the door to a walk in closet next to the bed.
They had a connected bathroom to their room, and she could vaguely hear the sound of water running. They were probably taking showers, thats why they didn't answer the door.
Haruhi ended up just placing the tray on one of the bedside tables. The plan was that she would just drop off the food and then go, but she was a little to curious and ended up bending the rules. Just a little.
The closet doors were open a crack, and she could see tons and tons of books lining the walls. She thought this was very strange. Closets were supposed to be for clothes, or so she thought.
Haruhi pushed the doors open farther and stepped inside. It was like a giant library. She took a closer look at some of the books. None of them had titles. This intureged her even more. Grabbing two or three of the nameless books, she flipped them open to see what they were.
They were journals.
Hikaru and Kaoru had a full walk in closet filled with journals. Who could've guessed? Haruhi began to panick with the thought of getting caught by them, so she grabbed a few more and dashed out of the room, leaving everything the way it was when she had arrived, except for the food tray that was still sitting on the small bedside table.
Haruhi couldn't see the harm in reading the books. What the twins didn't know couldn't hurt them, and how would they find out, anyway? There were at least a hundred books in there.
All she had to do now was read.

Uh-oh... Haruhi, I have a feeling this is going to go south. Chapter 9 is now posted, and number 10 will be out tomorrow. I am going to post daily from now on, but I'll probably do double updates now and then. Thank you for reading!

Choosing His Luna (bxb)
This is a story I have published on Inkitt and I thought I'd post it on here too since I've started to update it again. 😅 I hope to continue to do so although the updates will probably be only once or twice a month. The chapters are a little shorter than what I normally post on Wattpad but I hope you enjoy them all the same.‐-----------------------------The fateful day had finally arrived, the one which I had been preparing for since birth, one which my parents had been preparing for since I'd been conceived. Well, that wasn't exactly true, my parents had been preparing, and I on the other hand had been mostly unwilling with the whole affair. See I was a werewolf, my whole family was, or pack if you will. It was tradition for all those of marriageable age to gather on the strongest werewolf pack in the world, to try and impress the next Alpha to be, the most powerful werewolf in the world. It was a major honour to be chosen by the Alpha, for the individual and their whole pack. So here I was, packing a bag for the journey and time I would be spending at the strongest pack in the world, which was called the Stentorian Pack and was located deep in the mountains surrounded by forest. My parents thought I had a chance, they'd told me what to eat, how to act, and how to look all my life, needless to say, it had gotten old pretty quick. All the lack of control I'd had over my life had boiled down to this day, it had all been for this day. I had to be the most attractive, smartest, and likeable... you get the idea, and I couldn't help but feel inadequate.
