I felt his soft, warm lips against mine. Our kiss wasn't at all rough. It was so gentle, and long. Really long.
When we decided to pull away, we stare at each other, completely lost in the other's eyes.
"Um... um..." I start.
"We should... go." Kaoru says, his voice shaking at first.
"Oh, okay." I grab my little backpack and we head out the theater doors. The limo was already there, so we climb in and don't say a word to each other for the entire ride.
When we arrive at the house, we stood at the front porch and rang the bell.
Hikaru opens the door, "Hey love birds, have a good time."
"Yeah, yeah." Kaoru says, trying to act natural.
"Good..." Hikaru eyes his brother.
"I'm ready, Nii-san." Chiron appears.
"Did you have a good time, Chirou?"
"Yeah, I finished my homework and Hikaru taught me how to play a video game. How about you?" I glance at Kaoru.
"It was wonderful." I say simply. Of course it was an understatement, but honestly, I didn't know how to describe it. I'm sure Kaoru didn't either.
"Thanks for the night." I say to Kaoru.
"No problem," he blushes. "You're welcome here anytime."
"Yeah, when Yoichirou comes back, I'll teach him a whole new level of video gaming."
"Yeah, sure." Chirou half smiles.
We say goodbye and we walk home to our apartment. Chirou luckily, didn't pry any further about tonight. Instead, when we got inside our apartment, he said goodnight and got ready for bed.
I, on the other hand, went straight to my room, fell back onto my bed, and just lay there, letting the moments of the kiss replay in my mind.
