《Black hearts meet Red》Chapter 44

Like a butterfly's light wings, she walked around my heart as if she owned it.

The stupid organ wasn't even mine now as it only listened to her.

Stretching my limbs, I pulled the warm comforter closer. The sun rays hitting my face soon woke me up completely as I blinked sleepily.

Damn these curtains.

My numb arm had me turning my face only to see my wife rest her head there.A smile formed on my face as I turned towards her.Her black wavy strands spread on the pillow like wild fire in a dense forest.

Haseen.

This was the word made for her.Because she truly was. From her grey eyes to her long lashes that kissed her skin as she slept peacefully.Peacefully in months now.She slept like their was no worry in the world.Away from all pain and griefs.

I felt my nerves relax at her contentment. It was rare to see her this peaceful.I chuckled lowly, she probably didn't even know that she was resting on my arm not that I minded.I didn't mind at all.She was crossing dangerous boundaries now and so was I.

My facades were falling off because each time she fell, I fell with her.

I was like a moth drawn to flame.I was drawn to her.Arsalan Khan was nothing without Amal Arsalan Khan. She strived me to live on without even knowing herself. Her each word, her each sentence effected me.She effected me.

Damn, I never knew I was soo lucky.

But a fear always lured in my chest.A fear I didn't wanted to name.I feared all the promises I made to her.All the promises I was going to make to her.But what more did I want from life except for her.Except for Amal.

I couldn't even imagine a day without her.Since the day I first saw her outside the school, I knew we had a long way ahead. What I didn't know was that-that one day this haseen woman could lay on my arm, sleeping like this.

Moving the dark hair strands away from her face, I caressed her cheeks lightly.Careful not to scare her.Her soft skin against the rough of my hand.Wrapping my other arm around her petite frame, I pulled her closer seeing the woman scrunch her nose in her sleep.

GOD!!

I wasn't sure if I trusted myself with Amal. She could make me lose my senses. And if I didn't want to spend the rest of my life with her, I would have killed that bast•f^cking•tard with my bare hands. But I wanted a life with Amal.A long journey, to travel with her only if she wanted the same.

I was shocked to see that upon breaking a glass she was sobbing because that rascal had done so much worse to her.She was afraid of the memory. She was disappointed by herself, something I had been with myself and didn't want the same for her.I never wanted her to be guilty because guilt was something that could eat your flesh harshly leaving you hopeless and vulnerable.

As she shifted in her sleep because of the contemptuous sun rays that fell on her eyes disturbing her slumber.Holding a hand against the illuminating rays, I protected her eyes so that she could sleep a little while longer.

Pulling myself away from her, I placed my pillow in replacement of myself.Getting up from the bed, I walked to the large window before pulling the midnight blue curtains together making darkness fall in the room.

We had somehow fallen in an odd routine where Amal would pick my suit out for my day.And hell I liked it everytime she did it.She would make my breakfast and even reply my messages. She would also watch football matches with me.We were almost completing our three months of marriage but it seemed like we had known each other for years.

Which we did in a way.

Chuckling to myself, I walked over to the wardrobe before taking the blue suit my wife had picked out for me.Getting inside the washroom, I started to get ready for the day.

Before leaving for work, I left her a note on the bedside table.Informing that I left for office.

Today was like all the other days.Just the same. But as the clock read six in the evening I was out of my chair ready to return to my home.I felt like a teenager as I drove home.Making me remember Shahwar and her craziness for Salah. That pair was truly something else.Their craziness was from another planet.Uff.

Parking the car, I locked it before making my way up the elevator.Just as the very familiar door came into my view, I felt my heart start to race.A rolling feeling moving around my stomach. An excitement to see Amal after a long day settling in my senses.

Twisting the key in the door lock, I opened it to my little heaven.

A woman makes her house Jannat.Ammi used to say this and now I knew what it meant.

Amal's form didn't welcome me right away but as soon as I shut the door behind me she was walking into the living room. With a small smile playing on her lips she whispered a soft,

" Assalam O Alaikum."Her eyes glancing at me.

" Walaikum Assalam"I said taking the offering glass of water.

Gulping down the water, I could feel the woman's eyes trained on me.I looked at her, seeing a faint smile on her face as she bit her bottom lip.

" Do you want to say something Amal?"I said walking past her to the bedroom. She hesitated and followed me behind.

" Um.Actually- We are out of some groceries can w-we go for sh-hopping?"She asked in a small voice as I loosened the tie around my neck with a smirk on my face.

" Ofcourse."I said at last smiling and easing her tensed posture.A small broke free as she nodded.

" First I'll take a shower and then we can go."I said pulling off my shoes.Taking a relaxing bath when I came out into the room, Amal gasped loudly gaining my attention.

" Put some clothes on."She shrieked loudly covering her eyes.Confused I looked at the towel wrapped around my waist.

Shit.I forgot I have a wife now.

Deciding to cover up for my actions.I moved towards the woman seeing her tensed.A smirk plastered my face as I wrapped an arm around her waist as she jumped.Another gasp ripping off her face as she opened her widened eyes. The grey orbs pulling me in.

Her hands settled on my arms as she tried to push me away. Her attempts all going frails. Her breaths laboured at our close proximity as I jerked her closer. Her hands landing on my bare chest.

" Mo-ve pl-ease"She stuttered making my smirk go wide.

" Why?"I asked innocently.

" Pl-ease."She whispered again. Her eyes moving from my face to my chest.

" Like what you see, wifey."I teased grinning seeing the woman gulp nervously.

" Enjoying the view."I said again seeing her gaze move upto me sharply.

" Move away."She dared to say.But I wasn't just done yet.Tightening my hold on her, I leaned closer. My tall figure towering over her.

" Why Amal, can't you seem to control seeing such a handsome husband."She gasps lowly, narrowing her eyes at me.

" No."

" No?"I asked feigning hurt seeing her nervous eyes look up at me.

" No.No.I didn't mean it this way."She said trying to find her words.

" Then how did you mean it."I brushed my nose against hers, feeling her breath hitch like mine.

" I-i..."She trailed off.

I smiled and pecked her forehead as she shivered in my arms.

" I know you don't find me good looking at all."I said acting sad seeing the woman look down at the ground.

" No.Its n-not like that.."She said.

" You don't need to lie Amal,"I sigh3d as she tensed. Her grey eyes locking with mine as she shook her head.

" No.Please don't say this. You are very handsome."Her hand caressed my cheek as she said daringly shocking me and herself too.I liked this side of her more. Her eyes grew large before she pushed against my chest again.

I let her go because we were getting late for our shopping.Chuckling loudly I moved towards the wardrobe to get my clothes but didn't miss the blush that covered her cheeks as she fiddled with her fingers.

I was amazed at how my woman shopped.I trailed after her like a lost puppy in the superstore but she seemed to know every aisle as she shopped.

She took all her time at every aisle, inspecting the jars before keeping them in our trolley.I was fascinated by her.The way she walked with a mission in her eyes.I looked around and pulled onto my leather jacket as Amal checked against the jam jars.

Picking the mix fruit jar, she read through the labels before keeping it back on the shelf.Moving towards the black current one, she picked it up did the same procedure but except this time she showed the jar to me.

" This one?"She asked.

" Yeah."I said.

Finding the perfect jam for us, she moved towards the next item in her list.Looking over at the lotion bottles, I smiled seeing the woman scrunch her nose. She picked a little purple bottle before smelling its fragrance, making a very bad face she put it back.Reaching towards another pink one, she smelled it.The covering showed it was red roses.

Red roses.

She placed the bottle in our trolley and moved to see the shower gels. Her eyes swept to mine before she smiled.I thought that I was intruding her privacy but selecting shower gels wasn't private or was it.

When she looked down at the jars, I knew which one she used. She scented like black orchids and roses.A mixture of both.Very unique. But when she picked a white bottle of jasmine and lavender, I pouted.

No

No

No

She glanced at me as I averted my eyes.Thankfully she placed it back and picked the right one.The unique one.

She began to walk again as I joined her.

" You can pick your shampoo while I look for-"

" You are shopping for everything the why is my shampoo any different."I cut her off.She smiled before nodding.

" Okay I'll get it."She smiled turning to me.

Just as we entered another aisle, I froze seeing the woman stand a few feet away from us.As if sensing my eyes on her, she turned around. Her actions stilling too. That face. Her face.I could never forget it.

An unknown emotion flashed through her face as she looked at me.Her eyes staring right at me.I felt my heart palpitate and crumble at the same time.A new found boosting anger running through my veins.Clenching my jaw tightly, I gritted out.
