Patting the man's shoulder, I shook his hand.My eyes drifting to his wife, who gave an non-affecting flirtatious smile to me.Sensing the woman besides me tense, I ignored David's wife.
"Thank you David, for all the arrangement.I highly appreciate."I said.
"I am glad Mr.Khan."He replied smiling.
"Have a good night."I said as he walked away with his wife before replying with an,
"You too."
Oh I was sure as Hell going to have a good night-I thought devilishly.
The last couple also walked off, retiring for the night. The once filled hall now remained empty with just the two of us.The chatting voices and laughter had all now swept off with silence.Turning towards the woman, I could see that she looked uncomfortable in her high heels as she shifted her weight on one foot and then other.
I smiled to myself.
"Are you tired?"My voice echoed across the eerie silent hall. Her big eyes snapped to mine before she shook her head, her painted lips moving,
"No."She whispered.
"Good."I said to myself.
My phone beeped indicating I had a message as I pulled it out of my pants pocket.
I am home.
_Bashar
Giving him a quick reply, I switched it off to silent before keeping it on the table besides Amal's black clutch. The woman sighed looking in space making me take a step closer to her.
The once bright lights from the chandelier switched off creating darkness as the woman gasped loudly. The lights above the dance floor illuminated the once bright hall. Her eyes snapped up to the chandeliers hanging above us.
"What's happening?"She asked worried looking over the dance floor.
"Their switching the lights off,come-"I took her hand in mine.Seeing the woman look confused at me.
"Are you comfortable in your heels?"I asked as we walked besides each other.
"No, my feet are hurting from all the standing."She replied truthfully looking down at her shoes.
Her grey eyes swept to mine, when I walked her over to the dance floor.Standing under the lights on the dance floor, I said.
"Remove your heels."Her eyes widened as she pulled her hand back, taking a step away from me.
"Why?"She asked biting on her bottom lip.
"Because we're gonna dance."I smirked.
"What! No.I told you I don't know how to-"Not listening to her excuses I said pressing my words.
"Your heels, Amal."She chewed on her inner cheeks before bending and unclasping her high heels.Standing out of them, she pulled her hands across her chest, folding them.
Picking up her heels, I placed them on the side of the dance floor.Standing besides the heels, I assessed the woman.Seeing her cheeks turn crimson as she averted her large eyes.Snapping my fingers, the music instantly turned on as I had instructed the man behind the music studio. His job was done now and probably he would be out of the building by now.
The woman turned to me as confusion filled her features. The song that played in the background wasn't high or low.It echoed around the hall perfectly as the lyrics rolled in making me step towards the woman.
Cause you're a sky ,
Cause you're a sky full of stars ..
I am gonna give you my heart
Cause you're a sky full of stars
Extending my hand towards the woman, I waited for her to place her hand in mine.Inhaling in a deep breath she placed her hand in mine. Her warm hand in mine.Guiding her left hand to my shoulder, I placed it there.Seeing the woman visibly shake. Her eyes moving away from me.

Taking her right hand in mine.I placed my other hand on her waist. As the woman flinched slightly making me slow down my movements.Amal still didn't look up to me.Without the heels she barely reached my shoulders. Her head reached my chest as my tall figure towered over her.
'Cause you're a sky, 'cause you're a sky full of stars
I'm gonna give you my heart
'Cause you're a sky, 'cause you're a sky full of stars
'Cause you light up the path
As I moved my foot forward she placed her foot behind. And I didn't have to worry more, as I guided her and she did it perfectly. Our feet now moved in sync. But we moved slowly.Just practicing the first step.
Pulling her closer to me, I leaned near her ear whispering,
"Look at me."
She gulped down her throat before turning her face to me.She looked up at me with the grey eyes that were filled kohl making the orbs stand out more. The light making her orbs shine. And I smiled down at her as she stared at me.
Being so close to me, did I notice how different she looked tonight. How much more beautiful she looked tonight. Her cheekbones were covered in light blush, her thick long lashes kissing her high cheekbones each time she blinked. The red lipstick on her lips, bringing out the fullness of her lips. Her delicate silver nose ring looked more prominent with all the black colours.
Jerking her towards me, I pulled her close again as she averted her eyes.A loud gasp leaving her lips before she turned her face towards me again. Her eyes looking up at me daringly.
"Don't take your eyes off me."I said and she sighed.
'Cause you're a sky, 'cause you're a sky full of stars
I'm gonna give you my heart
'Cause you're a sky, 'cause you're a sky full of stars
'Cause you light up the path
Holding up her hand, I twirled her around as her skirt flowed in between us.A big smile formed on her red lips as I twirled her around in circles. The music playing in the background.
Pulling her hand, I pulled her towards me as she came crashing on my chest.A hiss leaving her lips.As we moved this time, our steps were fast.As I twirled and pulled her.
The woman in my arms looked relaxed now as she almost enjoyed. My eyes remained fixed on her, as I guided her to fold herself in my arm.Taking her my surprise I dipped her low.Her large eyes widened as she looked at me scared as I held her down.
My arm protectively around her waist. Her hand tightening over my arm.I smiled down at Amal.
"Relax.I won't let you fall."I stated but her shivering form only made me hold her tighter.More close to me.Her hand moved from my shoulder to the nape of my neck as she pulled me down.
The action only making my face move closer to her.Our hearts thudded together with our heavy breathing as my face stopped an inch away from her face. Her nose brushing mine.
An unexpected low sound leaving her mouth as we looked closer to each other. Her hand was still wrapped around my neck as I tucked a loose strand of her black hair behind her ear.Seeing her face redden. Her soft voice whispering.
"Pull me up."I chuckled.Shaking my head.
"Nope.I feel comfortable this way."I smirked teasingly seeing her let out a frustrated huff.

She closed her eyes for a fraction of second.
A fairy in my arms.
"You look beautiful."I stated with all honesty. She cringed making a bad face and quiet unexpectedly she loosened her grip on my neck before letting it go.
It all happened so fast. Her arms leaving me as she began to fall backwards making me wrap my both arms around her.Holding her mid-way before she even touched the hard floor beneath us.
Her breathing was irregular as she squirmed in my grip. Her once smiling face turning painful now.
"Don't call me that word.I hate it."She stated gripping the front of my blazer. My face hardened and I turned stiff.Pulling her up on her feet.I let her take the lead.As she slowly placed her hand back on my shoulder.
Keeping my hands on her waist. We slowly danced. She seemed tired as she yawned. Her head falling on my chest.
"Can we go home?"She whispered with a sigh.I nodded.
"Sure."

"Are you out of your mind"Bashar yelled at the two men before us.His jaw clenching angrily. He puffed breath out if his nostrils as he shook on his place.Placing a hand on his shoulder,I pulled him behind.
The man before us looked unaffected as he stared with the same sinister smirk.
"Probably you've gotten out of your right mind. Its just one damn fight.Just one night."
"You bloody bastard, get out of this building right now."Bashar spat, pushing away my arms.
"Watch your bloody mouth, kid."The second man snapped glaring at Bashar. His thick accent making him look more intimidating as he stood besides his boss now.
"Oh Alfie, you know these boys They like to create dramas."The boss said to his man who stood glaring at us.
"Ricko, its better if you go.Bashar has sworn he would never fight again. So there is no use of this discussion"I stated patiently seeing the fat man's smirk grow wider.
"Well you know something.I've put a lot of money on this fight.A man like Arch had finalized to fight against my man.And I need my best fighter to beat the shit out of him."Ricky, the boss said chewing on the bubble in his mouth disgustingly.
Looking away from him, I took a step forward.
"Well then, there's no one to fight for you.You can leave."I said folding my arms across my chest. My gaze not wavering from him as he leaned his hands on my table. His face hardening as he lowered his voice,
"This is underground street fighting not making custom cars. You will regret it.Once you're in the business you can't get out this easily."He spoke darkly. His golden teeth shining. He was threatening us.I knew better.
Bashar groaned from besides me.His fists clenching and unclenching.
"Get out from our office. This .Instant."He pressed his words.
Ricky and his man turned around,
"I can tell your dirty business to the media. You won't be able to sit on that chair ever."Alfie said this time menacingly.
"Well go a head.Bashar hasn't been in your fight since last two years."I replied back to him.He was getting under my skin. But Ricky's next words froze me.
"I'd keep a check on my beautiful woman if I were you, Khan."He said and then he was out.
"Shit."Bashar barked out sitting on the chair before me.
My mind jumbled up.
AMAL
That bastard knew of Amal.
Pulling at my hair strands, I fell back in my chair. The atmosphere of the large room changed completely. My hands reached towards my phone as I called the security office of the hall that I booked for the party.
Demanding him of the tape of last week's party.I left the office with Bashar. When we reached there, the video was ready and as the man played it.I fixed on eyes on it.My eyes moving across the screen looking over at Amal's figure.Where ever she moved, my eyes scanning around her for that man.
And there he was.As Amal stood near the stairs with Rhea and another woman, he was there.Ricky was there.I zoomed the video. He was standing so close to her as she remained oblivious to him.
Turning towards Bashar, I asked the man,
"I want all details who let him in.I want to know how he got in."
I said clenching my jaw.
Amal
Putting the cushions neatly against the sofas, I waited for my husband to return home. The clock read past eight thirty. He should have been home by now but he wasn't.
Last week after the party, we became husband and wife from strangers. It was good to have him around.I felt protected in his presence-
The door opened from behind me and I turned around with a smile but that got vanished when I saw the two men.All breath leaving my body as I stared at the two men.
My husband helped the man with striking blue eyes, as he leaned against my husband.Guiding his friend inside, he kicked the door close.
Charcoal eyes met mine as the man whispered,
"Hi"
I didn't respond but moved aside as he helped his friend on the sofa.
"Yew gwat a nyoce sophaa"The drunken man slurred.
"Yeah buddy."The man replied before he turned to me.
"Bashar, dropped his keys somewhere.Just watch him over till I find the spare."
"Okay."I managed to whisper. My eyes glancing down at the man who blinked. His blue eyes scrutinizing me.
Arsalan walked inside our bedroom as the man and I remained in the living room.
"Awll because of hherrr."The man on the sofa said pointing a finger my way.I could see he was drunk high. But I gulped when he stood up clumsily. His foot hitting the coffee table but it didn't affect his muscular figure.
Staggering towards me, made me take a few steps back till my back touched the cold wall.Blood froze in my vein as tears brimmed my eyes.My voice had been caught somewhere in my throat as I tried to form a word but nothing came out.
His arms trapped me in.This palms resting against my head as he leaned in.Glaring at me.The familiar stench of alcohol wafted past my nostrils as the man breathed out.My stomach curling with fear.
"You're his wiifee. That has him wapped around fingers. Its all beause of yew." He said looking down at me with a clenched jaw.
His muscles moved as he leaned even closer. His face inched away from mine as he gripped my jaw tightly in his hand. All energy and breath leaving me.
"Yew better not hurtd him.Or else I won't heszitate to kill yew."He said tightening his hold.I whimpered in pain trying to get away from him.But fear had paralyzed me.
A hand pulled his shoulder back, pulling the man away from me.My husband fists collided with the man face as he fell down.Knocked out.Blazing charcoal eyes met mine as their intensity made me shiver in cold.
"Lock the door and follow me."The man stated before effortlessly picking his friend up.Wiping the tears away, I locked the main door before following the two man across the hallway.
Only then it occured to me that there were only two apartments on each floor.Opening the door with the spare key, the two men walked in as I followed close behind.
Walking inside, I looked around. The apartment wasn't anything like ours.It was bare.No paint on the walls. No sofas or couches.A large t.v screen remained on the wall yet there were two chairs and a small table. The counters of the kitchen with wiped off with any utensils or crockery.
The two men walked inside the room.Probably the bedroom but I decided to stay outside. After about a good fifteen minutes, my husband returned.
"Lets go."He said before walking towards the door.Followung him like a lost puppy, I trailed behind him.As he stepped inside the apartment, I walked in closing the door.
But just as I clicked the door shut, I was turned around and pinned against the wall again.I gasped loudly as my hand clashed with the man's chest. His eyes were cold and blazing all at once as he looked down at me.
With fearful eyes, I dare to stare back.
What else is left to say.
His hand reached towards my waist, pulling me in.Making me stiffened against the wall.Looking down I pushed against his chest. He growled lowly as his fingers gripped my jaw.
Tears rolled freely down my cheeks as I resisted the urge to scream.
"Amal-Look At Me."The man said making me shake my head.
Jalal Khan- my mind kept screaming.
I cried out.
"Amal- Look at me.Who am I?"He asked a little softer this time. His hand caressing my jaw.
JALAL KHAN
JALALKHAN
JALALKHAN
His fingers moved my face upwards and I looked at his eyes. They were soft.Pools of endless charcoal. All energy drained from my body, as I stopped fighting.
The man face leaned forward and I closed my eyes. His cold lips tracing kisses down my jaw.The same place his friend had gripped harshly.I tried to breath normally but I was breathless as my heart thudded.
"Who am I?" The man asked against my jaw.His endless butterfly soft kisses not stopping.
"My husband."I gulped the lump in my throat. My tears freezing.
He moved back just so he could see me in the eye.Yet he remained very close.
"My name, Amal.Just say my name."His voice seemed pained as if I had slapped him across the face. His face twisting. The anger once radiating off him, dispersing in thin air.
I stared at him.
"My name.Say my name."He pressed tightening his hold on my waist.Making me grip his jacket.
"Arsalan Khan."I gulped painfully. His mouth returned to my jaw as he kissed softly. My flesh burning against his lips.A low sound gripped from my mouth as the man spoke against my heated flesh,
"I am Arsalan.Your only husband.Say my name again Amal."His breath hit my skin repeatedly.
"Arsalan"I said without hesitation.Hearing him say with a smile.I could feel his lips curl.Leaving me melted and breathless.
"And only yours."
