《My Alpha (My Alpha Series Book 1 boyxboy)(under revision)》Chapter Twenty Five- White Beast

My spine cracked for the last time and this time, instead of a scream, a howl echoed out.
I stroked my fingers through his hair one more time before getting up to leave. Noah had been having nightmares for the past two nights and it was starting to scare me. Why all of a sudden do they just start to haunt him?
I closed the door behind me and came face-to-face with the last person I wanted to see. "I heard Noah was having some trouble sleeping." Julia said with a fake pout. Her red locks were pulled back into a ponytail, exposing her pale skin to the world.
"Go away, Julia." I stated but didn't move from my spot in front of the door. She took a step forward.
"I think we both know that's not going to happen." she said as she trailed her long nail down my chest but I quickly grabbed her hand and pushed it away. "Oh Ryder, you act like its that easy to get rid of me."
"What do you want?" I was beginning to yell and could hear my words rumble in my chest. She shrank back a little but still stood proud.
"Oh you know what I want." she reached for the door knob but I blocked her hand. "We made a deal, Ryder. I lived up to my end, now it's your turn to hold up your end of the bargain."
She was right.
As much as I didn't want to leave Noah alone with Julia, I knew I had to in order to keep Julia happy. I sighed heavily and moved aside to let her into the room. The corner of her mouth rose as she walked in and closed the door behind her. I had to trust that she wouldn't harm him. I had known her my whole life. She wouldn't harm him and I had to believe that.
I'll be right back. I thought to myself as I went to go find Riley. I was only going to be gone for five minutes and I would be back to my Noah.
"Have you seen Julia?" Riley asked as he ran up to me, worry strong in his eyes.
"Yeah, she's with Noah. Why?" I asked, becoming concerned myself. He pushed me aside and starting running upstairs to my room, me not far behind him. When we made it to my room, the door was wide open. We ran into the room and found the bed to be empty with no sign of Noah or Julia anywhere. My wolf began to panic.

Noah, Noah. Where are you? I called to him through our mind link but after two minutes of waiting, I got no response. This was becoming ridiculous. I was a horrible mate.
I woke up in the middle of a random room, my arms and feet chained to the ground. The chains were extremely short so I could not stand. I began to panick. I didn't remember anything that happened. I hardly remembered anything. My vision was blurry and my head ached.
I was kidnapped, again. What was everyone's fascination in kidnapping me?
All of a sudden, my ribs began to hurt like crazy. I went to my hands and knees but eventually fell onto my side from the unbearable pain. I gripped my ribs as I rolled around on the floor. Tears began to pour from my eyes as a scream was ripped out of my throat.
"Jesus Christ. What's with the screaming?" I heard a familiar voice say as I heard the clicking of heals approaching. I continued to grip my sides as I stared at the red headed woman infront of me. "I haven't even started and you're already screaming? Wow, Chris was right."
It was soon becoming hard for me to even keep my eyes open. The constant pain in my sides was impossible to ignore and my body just wanted to pass out. But I wouldn't let it. I had to figure out what Julia wanted.
My eyes widened when she said his name. She knew Chris and by her sentence, apparently they were good friends. "Chris?" I choaked out as pain surged through my abdomen, causing me to clench my jaw and squeeze my eyes shut.
I looked around the room once and recognized the place. It was the same basement as the first one. Chills wracked my spine.
"Yeah, you know him." she said as she pulled up a chair and sat down. She lit a cigarette and placed in between her red lips as she stared down at me. "Chris was the Alpha of my rogue pack."
Realization dawned on me. All those times that she said those too familiar phrases. It's because she got them from Christopher. Anger pulsed through my veins as I tried to reach her but the chains and the pain in my ribs held me back.
My eyesight became clear all of a sudden but I ignored it ,for I was too focused on the constant pain controlling my body. Julia looked scared and confused for a moment but quickly masked it with a blank facial expression. "What do you w-want with me?" I growled out, something I had never done before. It felt like a rib had popped out of place and more tears fell from my eyes.

"I, uh, made a deal with Ryder and he didn't fulfill his end of the bargain so this is the, uh, punishment." she sounded unsure of her answers as she watched me with scared eyes.
"A deal?" I questioned as another rib popped out of place. "What was the deal?"
"I think-"
"What, was the deal?" I said loudly as more ribs continued to shift and move in places that were not possible.
"He was supposed to keep me and my now alphaless pack safe or I was going to attack." she stated, a new determination in her eyes. "He knew too well that I could destroy his little pack." She stood up and kneeled down before me. Her breath reaked of smoke. Another rib popped out.
"I'll be back. Just hang tight while I wait for Ryder. He knows where I am." She stood up and left the room, leaving me to myself.
Immediately after she left, the rest of my ribs began to jut out. I could see and feel the difference. Next was my face and legs. My jaw felt like it was being pulled apart and my back began to hurt as well. The cracking of bones was filling the silence as my body continued to do things that it was not supposed to.
I looked to my hands and my nails were turning more into claws. I ripped my shirt off and saw my ribs were more out and noticable then before. I got to my hands and knees as my spine continued to pop and crack.
Confused and insanely scared, I rolled onto my stomach, trying to apply pressure to my hurt ribs.
My jaw was extending outward as my arms were beginning to collect more hair. My spine cracked for the last time and this time, instead of a scream, a howl echoed out.
The new snow crunched underneath our paws as we ran as fast as we could. I knew where she was and I wasn't going to waste any time. I was done with this kidnapping bullshit. This ended now.
I was running when I stopped dead in my tracks. It was a howl. But not just any ordinary howl. A howl that cried for a help, a howl that belonged to my mate.
I signaled him back with a howl of my own, causing my whole pack to do the same. We pushed harder through the snow until we came to the cabin in the middle of the small woods, the same one from last time.
I didn't waste time as I burst through the door and was met by a smiling Julia. "Took you long enough." she said before rogue wolves appeared out of nowhere. She shifted into a red haired canine as she stalked towards us before leaping at me.
Our packs began to attack each other while their leaders battled each other. I was going to end this, once and for all.
She reached to sink her teeth into my neck but I pushed her back with my hind legs. Regaining her balance, she tackled me onto my back as she snapped her jaw in my face. I evenutually was able to flip us over and stood up. I grabbed her neck with my mouth and threw her across the room, her back slamming into the wall. It took her awhile to stand back up.
We stared into each others eyes, daring the other to make the first move. I waited for her to move, for just one single movement. But she just crouched there, her crazed eyes staring into my soul. I took the same stance, my ears flat on my head with my fur on edge.
Whines and screams were being heard all around us but as I gazed at her, the whole world fell silent and it was just me and her.
But a growl was heard, causing everyone to look up. There stood a pure white wolf, the rarest of it's kind. It's teeth were barred as it stared at Julia with hunger in its eyes. The wolf was beautiful and had me speechless.
It's white coat shimmered like a diamond and it's eyes held a golden color like mine. Even from a far, I could tell the fur was as soft as angel's wings. But as I stared at the animal, all else was forgotten. I watched how every muscle rippled beneath the white snow like fur and it amazed me.
Before I knew it, Julia was pouncing at me. But she was met in the air with the large white wolf, it's teeth deep in her skin as blood trickled onto its white fur. He landed with her in his mouth before he spat her out and she skid across the floor until her back met the wall. Julia was dead.
The wolf stared at her dead body before stomping his foot and looking up. His howl was like music to my ears. It was an Alpha howl, letting everyone know who was in charge and that the battle was over. Everyone stopped fighting and then everyone bowed, even me.
It wasn't until the white beast looked at me, did I realize it was my Noah.

A capricious master of the past is saved by an unsuspecting girl. When told to pick her reward, she merely asks for his friendship. “If so, then I will be your friend. The best damn friend there ever was!” As such begins the journey of a kind hearted girl and her capricious friend. However, the more they learn about the world, the crueler it seems. Will the girl’s light lift it out of chaos, or will her friend’s hidden darkness bury it completely? What is light and what is darkness anyway? In the end, strength conquers all. (More details below↓ ) For those wanting more clear-cut details about the setting: The story revolves around the adventures of a reincarnated reckless mage with evil tendencies and his prodigious friend who’s trying to be a good person. However, the world they live in is low on resources and overpopulated with several races which hate each other’s guts, overpowered monsters that shouldn’t even exist, and paranoid humans on the verge of destruction. Basically, it’s one giant bloodbath waiting to happen. The MCs need to strengthen themselves, learn and adapt to their surroundings (which become more and more insane with each passing chapter), and eventually, hopefully, do something to stop the madness before the world’s destroyed in warfare.

Gaius Atiius Quadratus will not forget this kindness. The MC is based on the monk class of many rpgs, but the story isn't Litrpg. Also he will gain non monk abilities after a while. Fair warning I don't understand the rating system but I'll say M-rated just in case. This is my first story, I accept criticism but I would like the critic to explain the reasoning behind it. Also I'm still figuring how this site works and I have no schedule so updates may be sporadic, at least once a week. Not a native speaker but in the practices, too lazy to actually get the diploma, I got an average of 9.7 out of 10 at the Cambridge C1 level, the CAE, second highest european level for foreign languages, so it should be no problem. Despondent Divinity
There exists a Great Seal which split the world in two, one half ravaged by the Darkness, the other a safe haven of Light. Since the collapse of the old world, 20,000 years have passed, and the world watches on as their only protection from the Plague of Plagues slowly dissipates. Only the strong may survive the oncoming Demon horde, and the forgotten prince, Jack Calmira, fears he may not have what it takes. In a world where weakness is punished by death, what are weak men to do? Author's Note: Expect a chapter or two every month, but I'll get faster eventually. This story isn't a Wuxia, but it has a lot of eastern influence. The MC isn't OP and is flawed. Less action, more character driven. Constructive criticism would be appreciated as it's my first story. Chinese culture has inspired a lot of the novel, but much of it is an amalgamation of different cultures, some made up and some not. Think Xianxia + Shounen with a mix of western and eastern fantasy elements.
