《My Alpha (My Alpha Series Book 1 boyxboy)(under revision)》Chapter Three- Rogues

"I don't know but I just hope we can stop them before they take something important." I said and for some reason, I thought about Noah.
"I knew I shouldn't have left you alone!" Sage exclaimed when I finally told her what happened. "Are you okay, baby?" She grabbed my face and turned it every possible direction, looking for bruises. "Oh my poor baby!" She practically screamed before pulling me into a bone crushing hug. I decided to keep the Ryder situation to myself, considering she probably wouldn't believe me and I didn't really believe it myself.
Ugh she's worse than my mother. I complained to myself.
"Get off of me." I managed to say as she hugged the breath out of me. I finally gathered enough strength to push her a little and she let go. "I'm fine."
"Well for now on, I am never leaving your side." she said as she put her arm around my shoulders and squeezed. I decided not to respond to that, considering she wouldn't take 'no' for an answer, so I just sighed instead. If she hadn't left my side in the first place, I wouldn't be in pain right now but I kept that comment to myself. "So, I'll see you tomorrow?" I nodded my head as I unlocked my front door and stepped inside. She smiled before turning and walking home.
"Do you hear that?" I asked suddenly, stopping Riley with my arm. I looked at the forest around us, looking for any sign of a threat. I heard another rustling of bushes and we both turned towards it. I sniffed the air and was hit by their smell. "Rogues." I stated before crouching down and growling at the wolf behind the bush. It wasn't until the wolf whined, did I hear more noise from behind us.

"Uh Ryder? I think we're surrounded." Riley said as I glanced around at our surroundings. Wolves were stepping out of the bushes and from behind trees. "Do you have a plan?" Riley crouched down as he growled at a grey wolf that was stepping closer. "Ryder?"
"I'm working on it." I stated before shifting before any of them could get any closer. I shook out my sandy brown fur and stretched. I haven't been in this form for a while and it felt great to be back. Some of the wolves whined when they saw me and took a step back but didn't retreat. I heard the ripping of clothes and turned to see Riley also in his wolf form. He shook out his black fur as well and crouched down, prepared for battle.
Before I knew it, a rogue launched itself at me but I retaliated quickly. I pinned the wolf to the ground and bit into his neck. Another wolf jumped on my back, causing me to loss my balance and fall to the ground. I kicked it off with my hind legs before standing back up. "You know what I like? Plans. Plans are great. Especially when you're being attacked by a bunch of crazed rouges!" Riley said through the mind link. I looked towards him and watched as he fought against a rogue. I saw another wolf running towards him and pounced at it before it could hurt Riley.
"I have this under control." I said back to him through the mind link as I ripped the wolf's throat out. There had to be atleast fifteen rogues left but I wasn't certain if we could handle all of them.
With eyes closed, I turned my nose towards the sky and howled to the moon, hoping my father could hear my call for help and join our fight. Riley joined my side and we glared at the wolves infront of us. I snarled, my ears down and teeth barred.

I lunged towards one and scratched his face as another attacked me from the side. We fell to the ground and he ended up on top of me, snapping at my neck. I clawed his face and kicked him off of me. I felt sharp teeth puncture my leg and I cried out in pain. I kicked off the wolf that was biting me and went straight for his neck, biting into it.
As I went to attack another one, I saw Hunter and a few other pack members running towards us. They immediately started fighting and I was grateful.

"This is the sixth attack in the last two weeks." Riley reminded me as we walked down the hall and towards my room. It was starting to get annoying. It was like he was constantly reminding me how bad of a leader I was or at least that's what I thought.
"Don't you think I know that?" I snapped as I pushed the wooden door open. "We just have to keep tracking them until we get something but until then, we stay calm." I fell back on my bed and stared at the ceiling.
"What do you think they want?" Riley asked as he laid down beside me.
"I don't know but I just hope we can stop them before they take something important." I said and for some reason, I thought about Noah.

Kill 10 Rats
You awake in the middle of an unfamiliar woods with nothing but a knife and a pair of pants. You have no idea where you are, how you got there, or even what your name is. Noob Slayer is an average college student, part time computer repair guy, and a full time gamer. He awakes to find himself in a world he does not understand. Follow him as he explores this new world, looks for answers, and tries to remember his name. Authors Note: This is a side-project I started after being widely stumped trying to write another book. It is my first attempt to actually post something I've written online, but don't be afraid to be brutal. Improving myself is why I wanted to write this in the first place. I know the VRMMO genera is a bit over-done but hopefully it has a few good stories left to tell. Warning: This is written in the first person. Will contain brutal fight-scenes, bad pop-culture references, a ton of MMO-tropes, and possibly some light sex if the MC doesn't screw it up too badly. 8 149A Broken World [Dropped Pending Rewrite]
This work has been dropped- because I am rewriting it. Look forward to the new and improved "A Broken World," now available HERE on Royal Road! Three thousand years ago, Demonic creatures invaded the world. Though their power seemed irresitable, a band of heroes managed to steal the knowledge of summoning rituals and worlds from them and created, "The Millenial Summoning." A powerful magic that would bring forth a being from another world with the power to change the world forever. The first being summoned became known as "The Speaker," and he brought the power of the Gods with him. Teaching prayers and invocations that blessed humanities legions and began to push back the demons, founding of the "The Church of the Spoken Word" rose to power and a stalemate was reached. Two thousand years ago, that stalemate was broken by the second casting of "The Millenial Summoning," and the arrival of "The First Sorceress," who taught humanity the basics of magic and enchanting. With the power of the Sorceress, the mages, and the priests the tide turned and the Demonic hordes began to be shoved back, signaling hopes of a golden age for mankind. One thousand years ago, the hopes of final victory and a new dawn for mankind were dashed by traitors who slew the participants of the ritual and took their places, using the ritual to bring forth a godlike being from the demons home world, "The Demon King," for no human knew his name, erased millenia of growth reducing humanity to barely a fragment of its former glory. Now the ritual is being cast again, and a new being is being summoned... In our world, after nearly two decades of studious work, Luke Jaeger is making his dream come true. Working and going to school full time, sacrificing his health and social life in his youth, Lucas obtained Doctorates in genetics and virology, as well as associate degrees in business and accounting. The modern world is not easy, and despite it nearly driving him mad from stress, this was the bare minimum he needed to be approved for a business loan to start a company focusing on commercial genetic therapy. Despite the challange of getting his business running, Lucas feels that his work has finally paid off. Lucas's car never left the banks lot, nor was Lucas ever seen again in our world.
8 95The Arrayist
The world has many paths for each person; to live a simple life, to become rich, to become famous, to become the strongest, to explore the world. Many ancient civilizations fell and history faded through the sands of time. Within one of the rising empires, a youth, Teo, encounters a mysterious turtle that will help him find his path as an Arrayist.Inspired by mostly Xianxia and Wuxia web novels such as Coiling Dragon, Against the Gods, I Shall Seal the Heavens, Chaotic Sword God, and True Martial World.Note: The story is a really slow starter, be warnedThis is also my first "novel", most chapters are in a rough draft form unless marked otherwise. This work is also hosted at: http://www.bycienz.com/
8 167The Forager from Another World and his Online Shop
Granted a second chance at living by the gods, a man's soul was transferred to another world. With a skill of foraging and an online shop, will he be able to survive along inside the death forest? Will he succumb to the same fate of his previous life? Or will he be the catalyst to modernize the new world? Read and find out! This is a slice-of-life type of "isekai". A bit of fighting here and there but the premise of the novel is to not focus on getting overpowered. This is something I decided to write to relax rather than having some crazy plot about revenge, demon king, or other crazy stuff. Come join me in my journey of relaxation~ I'm a newbie writer so I apologize for any mistakes down the line. Do point it out in the comment section!
8 203Werewolf Lord Through the Multiverse
MC dies and reincarnates in Twilight with a mission from ROB. Destroy the volturi. If he completes his mission, he can travel to the worlds he actually wants to travel to, like Fairy Tail and maybe One Piece later. This is my first fan-fiction, so constructive critisism is welcome. There will be NO harem, so don't ask for it. MC will be with Alice, and she will join him on his travels.
8 243City of Roses
Jo Maguire, a highly strung, underemployed telemarketer, meets Ysabel, a princess of unspecified pedigree, and unexpectedly becomes her guardian and caretaker. Now Jo must make a place for herself among Ysabel's decidedly unusual family and friends—which calls for a bit more sword-play than most of us are used to—in a city where sinister high-rise condos are fought by a sprawling tea-house built out of scrap lumber, where ancient sea-gods retire to close-in Southeast apartments with lovely views, where duels take place in supermarkets, and the Devil keeps a morgue in an abandoned big-box store.
