I roll over to face my nightstand and see that I'm receiving a call. I lift my phone and see Alexs' name across the screen. I let out a low grunt and pick up.

"Alex it's 7am,what do you want?",I ask as I whispered,being mindful of Jessie sleeping.

"I need to talk to you"Alex says.

"Is everything okay?"I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah,I just really need to talk to you about something.Meet me in the cafe in ten to fifteen minutes"Alex demanded.

"Okay but wh-" Alex hung up the phone before I could finish my sentence.

I get up out of bed and pop a mint in my mouth. I slide my feet into my slippers and quietly make my way out of the room.

Once I enter the cafe I see Alex sitting on his phone with two cup of coffees in-front of him. I approach him and take a seat. "What's up Alex"I say focusing my eyes on one of the coffee cups.

"Please tell me one is for me"I groaned. "Of course it is"Alex informs as I take a cup and sip out of it. "Oh,but I spit in one of them,and I'm not sure which one it was"Alex says giving a playful smile. "Ewe! You're kidding" I say. "Yeah.I am kidding"Alex says with a gentle chuckle. "So what's so important that you had to call me at seven in the morning. The birds don't even chirp this early"I joke. "Well,this has been on my mind and-there's no easier way to come out and say this but I think you and I hooked up, the night of the party"Alex informed.

I took it as a joke because all Alex I do is crack jokes with each other. "Are you pranking me?" I say squinting my eyes and smiling. "No,Rebeka,I'm serious"Alex says with a straight face. I nod my head in confusion, "I don't understand,I remember,we kissed but that's all"I say. "Yeah,after that kiss our clothes came off and one thing led to another"Alex says staring down at the table. I run my fingers through my hair frustratedly letting out a sigh. "Are you sure? Maybe it was all in your head or something?" I ask in hopes that it wasn't true. "Rebeka,I know. I didn't have as much to drink and you did,I remember". We remained silent for a couple of seconds.

I broke the silence by asking my curious questions. "Well,what does this mean for us now? Was it something that I should remember or cherish? Like i don't know what to say or do. I'm sorry if this caused any mis-", Alex cuts me off and began to talk over me, "It's okay. It meant nothing,it was just two drunk friends hooking up. It happens. We're still friends,although,it should've been something you should cherish cause my di-". "Ewe,Alex stop!" I respond leaded by a laugh.

I stand up and grab my coffee. "Well"I say as I walk over to Alexs' side and stand behind him,I lean forward and wrap my arms around his neck, "you're a great friend,I appreciate the crap out of you,I hope you know that, and if I hurt you by this I'm really sorry" I say into his ear. "Yeah I am pretty great"Alex says placing his hand on my arm, "you didn't do anything wrong,it happens"he adds. "Then we're good?I'll see you later"I say letting go of Alex and making my way back to my room.
