I can't stop running. If I stop he is going to catch me. I need to run faster. Gosh for me a Dragon I can't run fast at all. It's not safe here anymore. Whoever this man is there are on a mission. Then I feel something hit me and I go numb.

I, Jessica, and Lucas are heading back to our dorms. It's a Friday now and we just got done with all of our class. Lucas and I decide to go and meet up with Jessica at the library. Jessica has been at Library for most of the day because she has been looking into Chloe's family. Sadly Jessica was unable to find anything.

" Lucas, that logic makes no sense" I can hear Jessica arguing with Lucas. There been arguing a lot recently but it's mostly over dumb things. " Hot chocolate is a Soup. " I hear Lucas say to Jessica. " Did you just say Hot Chocolate is a soup?" I ask him as Jessica looks like she about to fight him. " It's is" He's said to me as we have a voice call mine name.

We all turn around to Dylan running at us at full speed. He seems to have a box in his hand. I don't know why but my first action is to grab my ward out of my pocket. But I force myself not to pull it out but just to hold on to it because you never know what he would do.

"Thomas! I've looking for your dicks everywhere." He says he seems to be out of breath. Then he sticks out the box for me to grab. I stand there for a minute thinking if I really want to grab this box. " Thomas, it's the thing you asked for," He says to me as my face lights up. How was he able to get the notes? I grab the box from him and I go to open it. " No, not here. Do it in your room so no one sees that you have them. Don't want to get in trouble." He tells me as he starts to walk away. " Thank you," I tell him. He stops walks for a second and then he keeps walking.

" What is it," Jessica asks me as we keep walking now. " The notes," I tell her as her face goes big. " Told you so," She says with a huge smile. Sometimes I hate her but I could never hate her for long. She is my best friend.

I walk into my dorm room to see Jonah sitting at his desk thinking away. I sit down at my desk with all the sticky notes left from the kidnapper. Jessica is going to have to help me out with this but she went to her room to get something so she be up in a minute. Lucas went to go check on Jeb. Thanks to Dylan he got me all of the original notes. I still can't believe he was able to get them. I really don't want to know how he did it.

Am looking down at the notes in order of when there left. Whoever had the note had them organize in that way. "To leave, Or else, The school, Laskos need, and For Octha." Clearly, there are out of order. Five notes for five missing kids. Something in this still makes no sense. How could this go? I have to figure out the order.

"Thomas?" I hear Jonah ask me as I turn around from my desk chair. He is has been sitting at his desk for a while now. He's been looking up for a while now. He thinking really hard about something. He looks up when he is thinking hard."Yes?" I ask him as he walks over to me. " Umm, You know that I like you and You like me. At least I think you like me." He tells me awkwardly as It clicks in my head. Is he asking me what I think he is?

" I know haven't got to go on any real dates cause of everything that is going on. But do you want to..." he tells me but before he can finish what he was saying I cut him off. " Yes," I tell him as I can't stop smiling. " Yes?" he says to me as his smile grows on his face. Shake my head up and down. Then he put his hands on my cheeks. I can feel the warmth coming from him. I can't believe this means that I and Jonah are a couple now. Nothing could make me any happy than what I feel right now. It's just pure joy. I didn't realize how much I liked him until he told me to open my heart.

I hear knocking from our door. He pulls his hands down off away from my face. The warmth disappears. All I could want from him is to bring it back. " I'll get it," I tell him and get the door. It should just be Jessica. " It's probably Jessica," I tell him as I open the door to see my Aunt instead.

" Hey Aunt Daisy," I tell her as I can she's had a hard day. Around her eyes are black and grey and she hasn't had time to put on make-up. " What wrong?" I ask her. I already know what she going to say. Another kid went missing. " Umm, another kid went missing." She tells me's she pauses. " Am not sure how to say this but..." she pauses again. What could she be wanting to say to me? I just want her to spit it out. " Alex got was the one to get kidnapped this time." She tells me as I can feel all the blood in my body be a drain at once. I can feel that am not getting enough oxygen. My lungs are not getting oxygen. Cause I feel light on my feet. Alex? Did they take Alex? Then my eye starts to feel light like I can't see anymore. Then all I remember is falling over.

" He's coming back" I hear Jessica's voice say out loud. My forehead feels wet. I open my eyes to see Jessica and Jonah. I must have passed out about the news. " Are you okay?" Jonah asks me as he holds my hand. Then clicks in my head my brother was taken from me. I start to cry now. I feel so overwhelmed by all this. We failed in trying to find the person. Now my brother is gone. " We failed," I tell Jessica as tears run down my cheeks. I can feel Jonah's warm hands rub against my cheeks. Wiping away all my tears. His warmth feeling me up.

" We did," She tells me as she looks down in defeat. She tells mas she rubs the towel on my head some more.

It's Saturday night right now. Jessica is helping me clean out my side of the room since Aunt Daisy had an issue that the school was going to be closing down for the rest of the year. Everybody has to be out by tomorrow afternoon. I talked to my dad with Adam earlier today on the phone. My mom is crushed by this news. My Dad and my grandfather are Investigating into this now. There will stop at nothing to find whoever did this.

I help Jessica clean up her room already today. We are leaving after I get done clean my side of the room.

Lucas left this morning back to his home town. We are just getting started on my side right now. Jonah left early this morning. It really sucks that I just got a boyfriend and we have to be apart already. " So what do you want me to clean out first?" I hear Jessica ask me as she grabs a box. " You can clean off my desk and I will clean off the bed and under my bed as well. " I tell her as I walk over to my bed and grab my blanket.

I start to fold the blankets when I look up and I noticed that Jessica is reading something non my desk. I walk over to her to see she is looking at the note left by the kidnapper. " Give it rest Jessica," I tell her as I try to walk away but she grabs me by the hand and pulls me back. "What?" I ask her as she reaches in her pocket. She pulls out a yellow sticky note. I can only assume that it's from the kidnapper.

"How did you get that?" I ask her as she hands me the note. " I took it from your Aunt's back pocket," she tells me as I roll my eyes. I look down at the note to see what it says " Mixers &". " Okay what now. We still don't know what this means," I tell her as she takes it from my hands. "Not that. Look at the handwriting," She tells me as I look at the note again. I don't see anything out of place until I look at the other notes. The note am holding and the last one before this one is the same handwriting but the other four are different." It's different handwriting," I tell her. "who writes there and like that." She tells me as it clicks in my head. " We only know one person who has the unique handwriting," she tells as puts the note in front of my face. "Oh my God. It makes sense now," I tell her as we both look at each other.

We grab the notes and run out of my dorm room. We run down the halls of the dorm building. We are so ignorant. They have been in front of us for most of the time I just can't believe there would betray us like that. We run out of our building. We are heading right towards the office building to tell my Aunt. " How could he do this to us?" I hear Jessica yell at me. It sounds like she may be crying. I would be crying too if I wasn't so angry. " I can't believe I like them," I tell her as we slam the door open to the office. I see the assistant on her desk. " You can't go in there" She yells at us. She is on the phone with someone. "Can it?" I tell her. The phone call seems very important cause she doesn't get up and chases us into the office. We break up the door to see my Aunt talking to the Kidnapper himself. He is sitting in a chair.

" Jeb" I yell as I point at the guy I once called a friend. The guy I once had a crush on. The guy I thought was helping us the whole time but has been tricking us. The guy I thought who couldn't even hurt a fly.

" Ms. Anderson he is kidnapped or help the person kidnapped the kids" I hear Jessica tell her as she drops the note on the table. Jeb gets up from the seat he is in and starts to back up. " I know" Is what my Aunt tells us as we both stop. " What?" we both say at the same time. " Listen the Magic council is on their way. So I have to explain fast" My Aunt says to us. What in the hell is going on. " Jeb Bush has confused that his mom and dad are the ones who have been doing all of the kidnappings. The Magic Council is coming to talk to him about it. But the only thing that Jeb has ever done is write the two notes down. That his dad forced him to do or he was going to hurt Samuel." She tells us as I look over at Jeb. He still looks sick. He is not actually sick from a sickness but from guilt. I have known for a long time now that Jeb's parents are not good people. They must have told him during Christmas break. That's why he came to my house. He started to get sick cause Lucas was sad about Samuel's disappearance. That why he couldn't even be around Lucas for long. Now I know that Jeb is still the same good person who just has been taken advantage of.

I and Jessica look over at him again and we walk over to him and hug him. Then we heard the sound of feet hitting the ground. We turn around to see some people with star patches on. " We are here cause we have a lead on the kidnappers" the guy in the middle who looks to be about my grandfather's age says. Jeb steps forward and they look at me and Jessica. We take that as we need to leave the room.

I and Jessica leave the room. " We did it?" Jessica says to me as we sit against the wall. It feels like a wall was just lift off me. " but it doesn't feel like we won" I tell her as I think about what will happen to Jeb now? We have put in the time and effort into this. We should be celebrating but we can't even do that now.
