I woke up at 8:00 am. I shut off my alarm clock and I start to stench out. Then it hits me. Today's The Battle. I look over at my closet to see my uniform hanging up. Jazz gave it to us last night after we got done strategizing and doing some team building activities.

We are supposed to be in the filed before 8:45 am. I look over to make sure I didn't wake up Jonah. I can Jonah sleeping like a pig. I get up and try to be as quiet as possible. The Battle doesn't start till 10:00 am.

In between that time, it gives us enough time to stretch out, find out the layout of the field, and Who we will be up against.

I walk I grab my uniform for The Battle. The clothing was Purple background with 3 Black bands across my cheat. Same thing with the pants but instead two black bands.

I grab my things and I leave the room is quiet as possible. I don't want to wake him. I never good him about The Battle, so I shouldn't be expecting him or any other wolf to show up. My family is coming to watch and then afterward we are heading home for Thanksgiving break.

I head down the stairs into the lobby to see Jessica waiting there. " What are you doing?" I ask her as I walk over to her. I told her to stay in her room since she was feeling sick. " You didn't actually think I was going to watch my best friend get Seriously injury did you?" she tells me as she starts to guide me to the exit.

" Haha, Jessica," I tell while I fake laughing at her. " So I think the uniform looks great on you," She says to me as she grabs my butt. " especially there," She tells me as she squeezed my butt. " I love you but don't my butt," I tell as I try to run away from here.

When we get to the field I see the different groups together in one big group. They're standing by the black box I saw yesterday. Everyone else uniform looks the same but with different colors. " Am going to seat at the bleachers and save your family a spot," Jessica tells me as she walks away from me. I head over to the group of kids from different groups hanging out together.

I start to head over to Jazz and Chloe is standing at but then am stop by someone grabbing my hand. I turn around to see Ethan trying to throw a punch at me.

I moved out of the way again. He's not that fast or smart cause he falls on the ground again. I was planning to hit him in the face to show him pain but then someone comes up to me and grabs my hand before I can do it. Then I see Wyatt jump on to Ethan again. If he is on Ethan then who's holding me. I turn around surprised to see Chloe. Why is it always there family trying to protect me from other people?

"Mr. Clemson" Wyatt yells out for Mr. Clemson. " Thomas clam down. Save your energy for The Battle. Don't waste on someone as foolish as Ethan" I hear Nina tell me as she steps into front of me. I can feel Chloe let go of my arms. Mr. Clemson grabs Ethan and yanks him away from me. " Are you okay Thomas?" Wyatt asks me as he walks up to me. " Yeah am fine. What his problem now?" I ask them.

"He upset since his family didn't do anything about letting him be on The Battle team," Wyatt tells me. Before I can ask any more question we hear a whistling sound. Everyone turns around to see my aunt, the headmaster, and some other woman next to her.

" Okay everyone listens up." I hear Ms. Anderson tel everyone. "We are going to Explain the rule of the game, who's the referees, the order, and lastly what the Field will look like." She says as she stops to make sure everyone gots that. Then Mr. Clemson slowly walks up behind Ms. Anderson. He must have dealt with Ethan.

" The Battle as you may know is like caption the flag. You guys are in teams of six. You have five patches on your uniform. One on each shoulder, one on each leg, and lastly one on you back. If you get your patches ripped off then you lose them for the rest of the game. Even if your team advances on. If all your patches are ripped off halfway through the game you will Disappear out did of the field. There is a force field that surrounds the field. So nothing can hurt your friends or family. You will have five minutes to hide your flag anywhere you want to on your side. It can be inside, outside, or even on one of the floating platforms. Once you find the other team's flag that they hid on their side of the field you win the round. Another way to win is if there another team gets out by having everyone's patches ripped off." Mr. Clemson tells us in his booming voice. " Me, Ms. Ross, and Ms. Anderson will be watching to make sure everything is fair and no one is seriously injured. If anyone is seriously injured like a broken bone or bleeding a lot your team will be disqualified from the rest of The Battle." He adds on. I didn't realize I could be getting that much hurt. " If one is inured then you should immediately report to Ms. Ross for help. Since she is the school nurse," tells me as it clicks to me why she is there.

" Now the moment you guys have been ready for. We randomly picked which team will go against each other. The order I call your team is the order the matches will take place. Round 1 - 1st match Water Vs Fire, Lighting Vs Metal, Sun Vs Rock, and lastly Wind Vs Poison/Dark." she tells us as you can hear claps from each team when the team is called. When I hear we are going against Wind. I remember we have a plan to beat them. Thank God for Mia.

" Lastly if you will just look over at the filed. You will see the layout for The Batlle." She says as she takes out her wand. She moves her ward to the side and then up. And with that, the black box surrounding the filed disappears.

I look over to the field to see each half of the field are identical. It looks to be each half is a theme to a Castle. Where the battle takes place looks to be inside the castle. There is an open courtyard with a huge water fountain.

In the middle of the count, the yard has two floating platforms spinning in circles. Look like there is a lot of places to hide our flag at. The other theme as the same layout as us. The same type of castle.

" You have 45 minutes to stretch out or talk to your families. The first team-up is going to be Water Vs Fire. " Ms. Anderson says as her and the other teacher walk away. I look over at bleachers to see friends and families are starting to arrive.

I look over at Jazz as she is waving me and Chole down. She probably wants us to go through the plan again. I walk over to them. Jazz is putting her hair up in a bun. "You guys remember the Wind plan?" Jazz tells us as she hands hair tie over Amelia. Chloe has short hair and Mia's hair is already put up.

" Yeah me Thomas, Mia, and I are going to distract the Wind team and keep them from finding our flag. While Carson, Amelia, and you will go searching for there flag. "Chloe tell her as we all smile I'm agreement. " Okay let's stretch out. Once we are done you go seat with your friends or family. Into it's our turn to go up. " She tells us as we all start to stretch out.

It's 11:40 Pm now. There are resetting the Battle Field now. Sun Vs Rock just got done battling. The Sun team won against the Rock team. The Sun team won in less than five minutes. They slaughtered the other team. But the Rock team was able to pull off a lot of patches on the Sun's team. The sun team was stretching for the flag and found it fast.

As well as Water and Lighting going through the next round. Water Vs Fire took a long time. The match ran for about 50 minutes long. Water was able to pull off all there patches. The Water team is great at hiding their flag. You are better off trying to pull off their patches. The lighting team took an average time of 15 minutes.

I and the group are standing by the entrance to the battle. I look over at the bleachers to see my friend group together. Jessica, Mark, Liam, Beth, Jeb, Ned, Charlotte, Samuel, and Lucas. Next to them is Rebecca and Jonah. I didn't even know he was going to be here. Am so glad he is here. Did come here just to support me. Why does that make me feel warm inside?

My family isn't here yet. I hope they get here before it starts. I know Sky text me that they were going to be late. But it starts about an hour and a half ago. There are just teleporting into the school. Or maybe there are driving to school. We live only like an hour and a half away from school. This is one of the few days of the school year where you can teleport in.

" Okay, guys don't forget. We will be decoy while you guys try to find their flag. Try to be the fast cause am not sure how long we can waste holding all six of them off." Jazz tells me, Chloe, and Mia as we nod in agreement as she hands us our flag. Mia grabs the flag for her hands. " We will hide the flag while you guys get ready." She tells us. I didn't we were going to hide it. Now my brain is running in circles to try to figure out a place to put the flag at. " Thomas I have a couple of places we hide," Mia says to me as she puts it in her pocket. I guess she could tell I was struggling in my face.

" You guys ready?" I hear Mr. Clemson tell us as he walks up beside us. " Yeah," we all say at the same time.

"Thomas!" I hear a familiar voice shout at me. I turned around to see Sky. My face lights up in the thought of my family. I look next to Jessica at the bleachers to see my mom, dad, and my grandfather. When they see me there wave at me. But why is Sky coming towards me she not supposed to be on the field? "Thomas your gloves!" Sky yells again as she holds up my gloves.

Oh my God. I almost forget my gloves. I must have left them in Jessica's room when I was there the other day. I completely forgot about them.

I run towards her at full speed as she hands me the gloves. " Good luck Tommy Boy," She tells me as she hands off my gloves to me. I don't like that nickname. I run back towards everyone to see that there all have gloves on. How did I not notice that?

" Am ready now?" I tell them as I put on the gloves. Mr. Clemson smiles at me as open up a door. He points with his hand towards the inside of the arena to go inside. We walk inside to see a high hallway. With defect doors to open it up. Oh wow, it's going to be hard to figure out where the flags are at. " Okay kids, some last note. When hearing this" Mr. Clemson says as he blows a whistle. "That means you have five minutes to hide the flag. But if you hear this" he says again as he blows his whistle twice. " That means the Battle has started. And If you hear a long whistle blow that means this rounds over." He says to us as he starts to shut the door. " Good luck, I believe in you guys," He says to us as she shuts the door behind him.

I get a better look around to noticed that we can't see the audience. Which is weird since from the outside you can see us. It must be a charm. " so where are we going to hide it" Jazz asked Mia as we can hear the first whistle go off. When I hear the whistle I can feel the adrenaline hit me. " In the roof. " Mia says to her as she starts to run down the hall. Which I and Chloe follow behind her. We start sprit down the hall of the castle. Before Mia stops running. " Okay Thomas since you have Dark powers you can go thought the room without opening the door. Hide the flag in the middle of the roof." She tells me as she hand of the flag to me. I forget I am the only one out of three that has Dark powers. Oh crap, I also need to wake up my Dragon.

" Alexander!" I in a firm voice.

He thinks to me as I drop my mouth in response to him. " No we do not kill anyone," I think back to him.

"Jelly," I think firmly to me as I can feel my body shift. Jessica has been helping study up on Different powers for darkness and poison. Jelly makes you able to walk through things. My body feels strange. I start to head towards the wall as I am able to walk through it. I can see inside the room it seems to be a library of sorts. I see ladder prop up against the bookshelf. "Stop Jelly," I think to him as I can feel my body shift back up. I climb up the ladder to the top shelf. I am not able to reach the roof from the top shelf.

"Fuck" I say out loud as I can hear the whistle blow twice. I didn't have much time to think so I grab the closest books and I shove the flag in the book. I put it back as if it was never touched. I jump off the ladder and I put it back where it was at. I leave the room as if no one ever in there. "Jelly," I think to my self as I run through the wall. When I get to the other side I can see a nervous-looking Mia and Chloe. "Stop Jelly," I think to my self. " Come on Thomas we need to find their flag," Chloe says as there start to run full speed down the hallway.

We are running full speed straight down a hallway. When we pass by a blue line. " That's the halfway point," Mia says as we start to slow down. We cross the line and we are hit at full speed of the wind. We are toss down the hallway at full speed. We are thrown around in the air.

I hate him so much. " We set off a trap. We are heading towards the wall" Mia yells at us as we heading start toward a cement wall. "Shit" Chloe yells. Then I remember Jessica telling me before that Darkness can manipulate their surroundings to help them. " Umm," I say out loud as it hits me. " Manipulate Wall," I think to Alexander as I point towards the wall. I won't be able to tell if anything happened. I look towards the wall to see nothing happened. " Crap," I say as we hit the wall.

But to all of our surprise, we go through the wall as if was nothing. When we lent thought the wall it slow us down enough that we just feel down softly when we finally made it tough. We all hit the floor softly. " Ow," Mia says. " That hurt," Chloe says also.

He says to me as I laugh at him by this. Then I look up to see that we are like in a huge dining hall. In the middle is one of the wind teammates. " Get him" I hear Chloe say as She runs full speed at him. She goes flying across the room. " Guys he has the flag In the center of the table," Mia says to us as he starts to float upwards. Wind team. We have to get to the middle of the table without this boy tossing us into next year.

I hear Alexander tell me. " Mia we have to make it dark," I yell at her. As we try to Dodge getting thrown across the room. " Thomas you're the one with the Dark Powers," Mia tells me as we both get tossed backward and hit the wall. " Dark," I think hard while pointing my hands everywhere. In a matter of seconds, the whole room went dark. " where fuck did you guys go" He yells as I can hear Panic in his voice. He is still floating in the air the flag is under him. " Great how can we see where he's at," Chloe says as I grab for her and Mia. " Night Vision," I say out loud as I feel like something pulled from me. I must have used a lot of power just now trying to give Night Vision to all of them I feel weak now. " Oh, shit Thomas I can see," Mia says as I look up at. She looks at me concerned. " What wrong Thomas?" Mia asks me as she tries to be quiet so the boy can't hear us. " Am fine just get the flag guys," I tell them as they start to run towards him.

"Where are you guys," He says as he starts to toss wind at us randomly. I can see Chloe running full speed at him. But I can hear the steps. That why he tossed her Across the room again. Then he tosses Mia too. But she hits me instead of the wall. " Thanks for breaking my fall." She says half-jokingly to me. Then it hit me. " Mia, you need to sneak behind him as quietly as possible. I and Chloe will distract him. Then you can grab the flag." I tell as she nods her head and stands up. She starts to walk softly to him.

I run the opposite way making as much noise as I can. I look at him as he throws his towards me. I jump out of the way. He misses me. " Hey over here" I shout at him as he throws his hands to me again. This time he gets me and I hit the wall again. " Over here short sacks." I hear Chloe yell at him. She must have got are plan. He tosses his hand towards her as she ducks down. Missing her.

I look behind him to see Mia is right next to the flag. Then she reaches out and grabs the flag. She held the flag upwards. " Stop Dark, Stop Night Vision," I think to Alexander. I can feel my body getting really weak. The light comes back to the room. The boy looks down at Mia to see that she has the flag. Then we can hear along whistle blow meaning the round is over. " Shit, good job," He says to us as he floats down and leaves the room.

" Yes, we won," Mia says as she holds the flag. " Just this round" Chloe adds to her comment. I need to take a break I haven't used this much power before. " You okay Thomas?" Mia looks at me concerned. As she and Chloe run towards me. " Yeah just a bit weaker," I tell them as they grab my arm and wrap them around the shoulders. " Okay, Thomas take it easy. We will walk you back to our side. You need to save your energy." Chloe says as we leave the room back to our side.

When we make it to the other side we can see the four open with Mr. Clemson waiting to take me. He grabs me and pulls me out of the arena. " Okay, Thomas is everything okay?" He tells me in a worried voice. " Yes sir, just a bit weak," I tell him as we lay me down on the ground. " He used a little too much power," Mia tells him as he turns around to see Ms. Ross there with a cup of some pink liquid. " Oh okay, you used a little to much power you should be fine. But here drink this" He tells me as he takes the pink liquid out of Ms. Ross's hand and hands it off to me. " What is it?" I ask them as I smell it. It smells like swamp water. I almost gag at this. " It's going to make you feel better and give you power a boast. " Ms. Ross says to me as I look at Chloe as she holds her nose from the smell. " Great," I tell them as I hold my nose and drink the full cup. I wasn't expecting the consensus of cough syrup. But it feels to take an immediate effect. " Okay kids, you guys will sit over there and wait for your next match to start. We are about to start the 2nd round soon. So you guys can relax and plan." He says to us as I stand up and start to walk over to look to be a tent. I can feel that drink helping me.

We get to the tent to see everyone looks fine. We see a couple of chairs sitting in a circle. With towels and water bottles on them. We are sitting down to talking about what just happened.
