I watch Elsa and Jax hug their son, I smile at the reunited family. "Aella," I hear a man say, and my mate tenses up. "Dad," she greets, giving him a hug. Aella's father looks at me, "Is this the 'weird mate' Nicky was telling me about?"
Weird mate? I'm not weird.
"He's not weird dad, Adonis this is my father, Uriah Xavier," Aella introduces and I extend my hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you sir, I heard a lot about you," I tell him and he firmly grips my hand.
"From my kids or people who don't know me at all but judge me anyway?" I see where Jax gets it from.
He starts laughing, "I'm just joking, you should've seen your face!" He laughs and Jax pats his father's back, laughing with him. Aella gives me an annoyed look before I hear a woman squeal. A woman brings me into her arms as she jumps up and down.
"I knew my daughter had someone out there!" She yells and she looks at me. "Hi, I'm Adonis," I greet and she hugs me again. "I'm Ayla and Elsa told you proposed, I'll be your future mother in law!" She's really nice.
"Bubba!" Aella yells and she picks up her nephew. "Hi Auntie Lala!"
Aella brings Nick towards me, "This is my mate, Adonis," she tells him and I smile at him. "Hi Nick," I say and he glares at me, placing his head on Aella's shoulder. "Otis."
Great.

My phone rings and I quickly answer it, "Dani are you guys here yet?" I ask them and I hear Daniella clear her throat. "Yeah, we're pulling up the castle right now," she says emphasizing the word castle.
I let out a laugh and Aella looks at me. I motion for her to get up and we walk towards the entrance.
"They're here," I whisper and she smiles widely. "I can't wait to meet them!" She said in excitement. I give her a small smile, I'm worried though. "Oh my gosh, is that your mate opening the door? She's pretty," Daniella says through the phone before hanging up.
We walk outside and I see Jonathan get out of the driver's seat. "Did you tell them?" I ask him in worry and he shakes his head. "No, but," he leans closer towards me; "if they hurt my Alpha I won't hesitate to throw them out," he hisses before putting on a smiling.

"Hello, I'm Aella," my mate introduces herself, and my mother gasps. "Did my son propose?" She asks and Aella nods. Daniella sends me a shocked look but I shrug. "Hey mom, dad," I say and I give them a hug. "Hi Adonis," my mom says and she pats my back.
"I'll take you to your guest bedrooms," Aella interrupts and she leads my family inside.
I walk in after them, and Jonathan closes the doors. "See you in a while Lune," he says before leaving me by the entrance.

Aella and I had changed into more formal wear for dinner. We walk down the stairs and we walk into the dining room. "Hi Evan, hi Rosa," Aella greets before I pull out her chair. I push her in and before sitting beside her.
Jax came in with Nick in his arms and they sit down. It was a table for 12 so Aella and her father sat at each end as Aella's family sat on one side. My family, plus Aella's mother, sat with me on the other side.
I grab Aella's hand as people came into the dining room and set some food on the table. "This all looks amazing, who cooked?" My mom asks and Aella sends her a small smile. "We all did, they're my grandmother's dishes," she says and my mom nods.
"Well," Uriah blurts out, "Let's eat," he said and we served ourselves. An Omega enters the room with a glass pitcher of iced lemonade. "Do you want some lemonade Alpha Aella?" He asks and she nods, smiling at him kindly. "You're an alpha?" My dad asks her and Aella clears her throat.
"I am, so that makes your son my Lune," she says and I tighten my hold on her hand. "A female alpha," my dad speaks as if it was foreign. "I never met one before," he says and I look at him. "Dad," I mutter and he sends me a look.
"This pack had many in the past," Ayla pipes in and my mom gawks at her. "That's admirable, what pack is this? My son hasn't told me," she says and everyone looks at me.
Aella's brother and dad glare at me. I clear my throat, "This is River Eclipse," I say and Daniella sends Aella a glare.
"River Eclipse? Are you kidding me, Adonis?" I open my mouth but Aella interrupts me by scoffing. "You have a problem with it? Say it to my face, I'm right here," she says cockily from the corner of my eye I see Elsa give her a look.

I glance at my family, "The Moon Goddess paired us together and Aella is amazing, you shouldn't be angry," I told them and my and glares at me. "This whole pack is dangerous," he sneers and Uriah hits the table before standing up.
"Evan, is it? This pack can be dangerous when it wants to be and right now, you're giving me a reason to kill you for disrespecting my daughter, the current Alpha of this pack," he says and Aella smirks at my parent's scared faces.
Daniella growls before standing up herself, the same time as Aella. Are we all standing up now?
"You killed my parents 7 years ago in the absurd Rogue War," she told her, and Aella takes of a sip of her drink. "Did I? What are their names?" I look at my mate, seeing fury and amusement in her eyes. "Arden and Isabelle Roden."
Aella places her hands on her hips, "Alpha and Luna of Blue Moon? They voluntarily joined the war, I had nothing to do with their actual deaths," she sneers and Daniella points her finger in my mate's face.
"I honestly believe you're bullshit." Elsa covers Nick's ears as they look at Aella. "I lost my future title in that pack, they abandoned me!"
"And I honestly don't care, I had 25 packs on my side during the war, you're parents probably wanted to make history," she says and Daniella shakes her head. "If you weren't my brother's mate, I would've killed you," she told her and I look at her in shock. "Dani," I say and she glares at me.
Aella let out a laugh, "I would've like to see you try."
-
"Are you mad at me?" Aella asks me before sitting on the couch in our room. "No, I'm more disappointed with my family," I tell her honestly and she wraps her arms around my waist.
"Don't be, I expected much worse, I didn't know your sister had such a tie to the war," she says and I peck her forehead. "She probably hates me," I say and she shakes her head. "She doesn't, she sure hates me though."
"I don't think she hates you," I fib and she gives me a blank look. "She just strongly dislikes you," I tell her and she rolls her eyes.
"So she hates me."
"No!"
We both laugh and we cuddle on the long L couch for a while. I think I should ask her, no it will ruin the moment. I'm not going to ask her.
"Did you have a sister?" What's wrong with me?
Aella slowly gets off of me and I notice her tense. "Did you have a sister?" I ask her and she holds onto a necklace that had a ring on it. It was similar to Jax's chain but the rings are different. "Who told you?" She asks and I kept my mouth shut, not wanting her to kill Andy.
She sighs, sitting across of me, "I did," she whispers and I went in to hug her but she shakes her head. "Her name was Melanie, she was two years younger than me, and she died during the war," she tells me and I look at her in concern, feeling her pain.
"She was killed by the leader of the Rogues, Ronan Bently, my father's old Beta," she said as she let out a sob. "You don't have to-"
"I'm going to tell you, Adonis, I need to," she begs me and I nod. She takes a deep breath, "Before the war when I had become Alpha I wanted to prove myself to all Werewolves. Many didn't approve of a female holding the Alpha title and when war was brought on my doorstep I used that as my chance to prove myself.
"Melanie was taken by Ronan and they sent me her head. That's was when the war had truly begun. I had recruited 26 packs and we made a plan to attack at dawn. Ronan had so many Rogues on his side I thought we were done for," she grabs my hands and I caress them with my thumb.
A tear escaped her eye, "I thought of how they tortured my sister and I let my wolf takes over. Adonis," she whispers my name. "I-I killed so many wolves and when I found Ronan...I ripped off his head- in front of his son," she sobs and I hug her.
"He's going to kill me," she says and I rub her back. "No, he isn't-"
"Adonis!" She shouts and she pulls away.
"There's going to be another war."
