CHAPTER TWO

"What if you meet your mate?" Jonathan asks Aella as they drive up to Moon Stone's territory. "I highly doubt it. I mean- the Moon Goddess- giving me a mate? C'mon," she says while laughing.

"Everyone who isn't apart of our pack looks at me with fear, what did I do?" Aella asks while leaning the chair back.

"Remember when we attacked a Rouge pack? You killed 605 wolves that night," he says and she scoffs.

"Not my fault they had that big of a number," she says before yawning.

"I'm going to take a nap," she mutters while taking off her seat belt. "Wake me up when we arrive," she adds and he shakes his head.

"We're already here," he says and she looks out the window with a scowl. "I don't want to be here," she tells him and he shakes his head.

"You're a big baby, you know that? You're annoying," he said while taking off his seatbelt.

She pokes his cheek, "You love me," she points out and he looks at her with a plain face.

"Sadly."

Moon Stone and the 11 other packs waited an hour for River Eclipse to arrive.

Fashionably late everyone thought, those who knew the 27-year-old female alpha, knew she likes to make an entrance. As the 50 wolves enter the tent, Alpha Xavier and Beta Jonathan Steffano walk in last.

"Holy shit," Aleu blurts out and his mate looks at him. "C'mon babe, let's go meet them," he tells her before leading her through the crowd.

"I wonder if they have food," they hear Alpha Xavier tell her Beta.

Aleu clears his throat and they look at him. "I'm glad you came Alpha Xavier," he says as he extends his hand towards her. She shakes it, "Thanks for inviting me Alpha Creek, is this your Luna?" She asks and he nods, bringing his wife closer to him.

"H-hi, L-Luna Annette," she stutters out before shaking hands with the power radiating female. "Pleasure," Aella says before introducing her Beta.

"It's a bit stuffy in here, I'm going to get some air, excuse me," she says and she leaves Jonathan with the Alpha and Luna.

Aella was instantly hit with the sweet smell of lavender and honey, '' She hears her wolf, Lucky, yell in Aella's mind.

Aella walks into the forest seeing a man in a tuxedo standing by a river. He turns around and he looks at her in shock.

"Mate," he whispers, Aella walks up to him.

He walks back into a tree as he sees lust fill her features. Her eyes change between brown to gold multiple times, her wolf's fighting for control.

Her lips brush against his, "Mine," she whispers before kissing him. Sparks flew throughout both of their bodies and their lips molded together perfectly.

"I can't wait for you to come home with me," she says as she pulls away looking at him as his eyes were still closed.

"Yes please," he whispers, opening his eyes, feeling dizzy. Aella winks at him before walking back into the large tent, leaving him frozen against the tree.

Adonis walks into the tent, bumping into multiple wolves but not her.

He smells coconut and rose, his mate. The scent itself was so refreshing, it's his new favorite smell.

"Adonis, where were you?" Aleu asks him and Adonis smiles at his best friend. "I found my mate," he says happily and Aleu looks at him in shock.

"That's great! Where are they?"

He looks around, seeing his beautiful mate talking to another Alpha and Luna. "Right there," he said and Aleu's eyes widen. "Alpha Xavier?" He whispers and Adonis looks at him in shock.

"T-that's Alpha Xavier?"

'So that's why she said I was going home with her,' he says and he bites his lip. "Are you going to let me go with her? To her pack I mean," he asks his Alpha, and Aleu gives him a sad smile.

"Yeah, you can go with her," he says and Adonis hugs him. "C'mon let's go talk to her- who is that?" Adonis asks in a growl as he sees his mate talking to a tall male, making her laugh.

Aleu pats Adonis' back while laughing, "Don't worry, that's her Beta," he informs him and they walk towards the female Alpha.

"-and Andy found his mate, she's this cute ass Omega from the Eclipse Fall pack, adorable little thing," they hear her gossip.

Adonis bit the bottom of his lip, trying to stop a smile from growing.

"Alpha Creek," her Beta whispers and she turns to look at them. She glances at her mate and she smirks while crossing her arms. "Alpha Creek, is he yours?" She asks him and Aleu chuckles. "Not anymore," he whispers and Jonathan raises an eyebrow. "Not anymore?"

Aella looks at him, "Jonathan, this is my mate, mate, meet my Beta," she says and Jonathan's eyes widen. "Lune," he blurts out, extending out his hand.

"A-Adonis is fine," Adonis says as he shakes his hand, still looking at his mate. Jonathan brought his hand to his side. "I'm going to...give you two some alone time," he says, excusing himself with Alpha Creek.

"So you're the legendary Alpha Xavier, I thought you'd be more," he stops himself and she leans against the wall.

"More heartless? More mean? Honey," he blushes, "Those are what people think how I am, I'm actually really fucking funny and sometimes nice," she says and she grabs his hands, pulling them around her waist.

"You're so fucking hot, I want to bang you in front of everybody," she whispers in his ear and he pulls away in shock.

She laughs out loud, "I'm only joking, babe, you are hot though," she says and he clears his throat.

"I-I wanted to ask if we could stay here for a week before I move into your pack," he tells her and her smile falls.

"No, we're going to my pack by the end of the night. I can send someone for your stuff later," she says with a growl. "I get you were the Beta of this pack and you want to say bye and stuff, you'll visit. But I'm not going to stay in another pack's house, you're my mate, you're going with me," she finishes.

He furrows his eyebrows, "Can we at least sleep the night here?" He asks her softly and she runs her hands through her hair.

"Just the night, then, we're going back to my pack where I can make you Lune," she leans closer towards him with a seductive smile on her face.

"Then we can fuck in my room, I have it soundproof," she whispers in his hear, softly biting his earlobe.

"Okay that disgusting," they hear someone say. Adonis growls as she pulls away from him, he wanted her so badly.

"What are you doing here?" He asks Giovani as he wraps an arm around his mate's waist.

"I just wanted to talk to Alpha Xavier before she leaves," Gio says and he turns towards Aella. "I have so many questions about the Rogue War-"

"Can we go somewhere quieter?" She asks and Adonis nods. "Come on Gio," he says slowly as they walk outside toward the pack house.

"Everyone stays in this...mansion?" Aella asks her mate and he nods. "I knew this pack was small but...one house with 73 members? Jesus, that sounds like a headache," she mutters, making Adonis smile at her cuteness.

"I've been meaning to ask about your pack too!" Gio interprets. "Do you really have 500 members?" He asks her as they settle in the living room. "No, that's crazy!" She yells, obviously offended.

"I have a 1,006, not counting the ones I just lost and gained," she says and both males look at her in shock.

"Wow," Gio whispers and he shakes his head. "Is it true that in the Rogue War you killed 604 wolves?" Gio asks Aella and she leans into her mate.

"605, yes, it's not even a big number, I could have done much worse," she says, making Adonis bite his tongue.

'Maybe she is as bad as they say she is,' he thinks as he watches her talk.

Aella looks at her mate as he zones out, wondering what he was thinking.

Aella had sent her wolves and some of their mates back home she lost 10 of her own and gained 23 from other packs.

"This is your room?" She asks her mate as she looks around the big bedroom. "It is," he answers her and she sits on his bed. "You don't mind sharing the bed with me do you?" She asks him with a smirk, making him blush.

"No."

She bites her lip, walking towards him. "When we go home, you're sleeping in my room," she tells him as she wraps her arms around his neck.

Her touch sends shivers down his spine, he loves it. "D-do you want a shirt?" He asks her and she kisses his neck softly. Adonis closes his eyes, holding in a groan. She pushes him on the bed and she climbs on top of him, slamming her lips onto his.

"I just met you and you're already perfect in my eyes," she whispers before getting off of him. He gulps, sitting up, 'She sure is...wild,' he thought as she takes off her dress.

"I'll take that shirt now," her voice breaks him out of thought.

He hands her a black shirt and she instantly puts it on. Seeing his mate in his close makes his heart beat rapidly.

"Tell me about yourself, I want to know everything," she says as he climbs into bed, fully changed into pajamas. "I'm 26 and I became Beta at 18," he tells her and she rolls his eyes.

"What do you like to do?"

His face heats up, "I like training, running at night, I like drawing too," he mutters the last thing. She plays with his hair. "Tell me about your family," she says and he licks his lips. "I have a dad named Evan and a mom named Rosa, I have a sister, she's traveling in Italy," he says and she hums.

"Where are your parents?" She asks and he sighs, "In Virginia, visiting my aunt," he tells her and she continues to play with his hair. "What about your family?"

She let out an annoyed growl.

"I hate them, I live with my brother and his mate, who just happens to be my childhood friend," she trash talks about the two of them. "My parents, Uriah and Ayla are in Florida at Disney World," she tells him and Adonis laughs.

"What are they doing at Disney World?"

"They took my nephew over there so my brother and his girlfriend can relax. They come back next week, I can't wait for you to meet that kid, you'll die," she says and he smiles seeing her eyes sparkling as she talks about her nephew.

Adonis doesn't know what came over him with he slams his lips on hers. He almost moaned when she slightly pulls on his hair. "Have you kissed someone other than me?" She asks him out of nowhere making his eyes widen at the question.

He shakes his head, "No, I saved myself for you fully, I've never thought about anyone other than my mate my entire life," he informs her and she smirks. "That's admirable," she whispers, pecking his lips.

"You're a great kisser," she adds and he leans into her touch. "Have you been with another male?" He asks her as the thought of his mate with another person angers him.

"Relax," she tells him and their eyes connected. "I'm a virgin too, though, I been kissed by another guy before," she admits and he tenses up. "I killed him," she says, resting her chin on his chest.

He looks at her in confusion, "What happened?"

She sighs, "I was 17 and it was 3 in the morning. A man snuck into my room and tried to rape me," she stops herself and Adonis looks at her sadly, wrapping his arms around her body.

"How did you kill him?"

She sighs, "I had begun my training that year and I kept a weapon in my room for an emergency. I stuck a knife through his heart," he notices how she began to glare at the corner of the room.

"What else happened?" He asks her softly. "He had raped 3 other she-wolves that night," she grits out angrily. He traces circles into her back, "It's okay, he's dead now," he reminds her.

'How dare they try to rape our mate?' His wolf growls out as Adonis holds their mate.

"Kiss me," she commands quietly as she bats her eyes at him. He softly grabs the back of her neck, pressing his lips onto hers. Their lips move in sync, it was official, the Moon Goddess had truly made a perfect pair.

Aella presses her forehead on his, "I know you're contemplating about me because of what others say about me," she whispers and he closes his eyes.

"Just give me a chance to prove I'm not what they say I am," she adds and he looks into her beautiful brown eyes.

"Okay," he whispers before pressing his lips against hers.

"One chance."
