As I'm closing in on Matthew with my teeth two wolves knock me off of him. It must be his Betas. I quickly get back up and look for the guy frantically but I don't get a chance to find him before I'm struck at again.

I dodge the claw and swipe at the other wolves who are trying to end me. I growl loudly making all the wolves wince as I attack the two wolves. It only takes a few seconds and I end their life with the strength of my jaws wrapped around their throats. I fight off more wolves when I'm suddenly mind linked by one of my betas.

"Matthew is here and is trying to get to Camila." Cameron says making me go full speed in their direction. I come across the Alpha trying to fight his way through to Camila.

"I demand you to come to me now. I am your Alpha and I am your mate." Matthew seethes through the link to my frightened mate.

I run full speed towards him knocking him to the ground once again. He tries to get out from underneath my claws as they dig into his fur making him bleed.

As I dig my claws into him I hear him whine in pain only egging me to do further damage. But I'm distracted by the one thing I didn't think about.

My nose is suddenly filled with my mates scent letting me know she was now going into heat. He takes this as an advantage knocking me off of him. He lunges at me placing a large gash on my side with his claw. He attempts to wrap his jaw around my throat but I use my hind legs to kick him off and I'm back to my feet. I try to control myself and I can see the drool hanging from Matthews chin as he stares at my mate. I begin to smell his arousal and I lose it once again. I lunge at him knocking him to the ground. I place my paw on his head as I hold him down with all my strength.

I snap my jaws in his face before I clamp down around his throat. I slam my jaw shut and hear his neck snap and blood begins to flood my mouth. I let his dead body fall limp to the ground as I stand above him and let out a deep loud howl signaling I ended him.

The war stops immediately as the other wolves that are left surrender to my pack.

I move away from his dead corpse and only make it a few steps until I collapse to the ground. I hear frantic shouting and I suddenly pass out.

I groan as I open my eyes and notice I'm in an unfamiliar bed but my mates scent swarms my nose telling me that this is her room. I look around her decorated room and marvel at all of her things.

The door suddenly opens and Cameron walks through the door.

"How are you feeling?" He asks sitting on the edge of the bed.

I groan trying to sit up and notice my side has a bandage placed over it.

"I'm fine. Where's Camila?" I ask and he gives me a sad smile.

"You know you can't see her until the ceremony Y/N. Especially since she's in heat now." He says making me growl lowly.

"Just wait until tomorrow. Your side should be healed by then and you guys can do the ceremony." He says making me groan knowing he's right. I throw my head back on my pillow and remember the other wolves.

"What happened to the other wolves?" I ask and he stands from the bed.

"We have them locked in Alpha Cabellos cells. We weren't sure what you wanted to do with them." He says making me nod my head.

"We will discuss that later. And what was done with Husseys corpse?" I ask and my best friend only grins.

"It was set on fire at your mates request." He says making me smile. My mates got a spark to her that's for sure.

"Great. Could you bring me something to eat? I need my strength so I can heal quicker." I ask my best friend and beta. He nods his head excusing himself from my room.

I stand from the bed slowly and make my way towards my mates bathroom. These guys are idiots. My mate is in heat and what do they do? They put me in her room that's covered in her scent. I groan as I fight the urge to find her and claim her.

I do my business then wash my hands. I look at myself in the mirror and notice a few scratch marks on my face then I notice the large bandage at my side.

Lucky bastard only got a cheap shot.

I slowly make my way back to my mates bed and sit down trying to control my breathing. I need her and I need her now.

"Fuck!" I groan jumping up from the bed and tugging on my hair.

Cameron rushes into the room with my food and notices my state of mind.

"You guys shouldn't have put me in here. It's only making everything worse. I need to be chained up or I'm not going to make it to the ceremony." I growl out and he winces at my overpowering voice.

Dinah suddenly comes into the room and notices my state of mind. "Cameron get Harley up here too. We're going to need to escort her to the basement so we can chain her." She says and he mind links Harley. She comes quickly and notices my mood.

The three of them try to lead me to the basement but I want no part in it because I can still smell my mate.

"I need her please." I practically beg them as they surround me.

"I don't want to hurt you guys." I say feeling myself getting ready to shift.

Suddenly I shift into my wolf and the others try to stop me, but it's no use. I immediately smell the scent of my mate and her heat is stronger than ever.

I follow her smell and end up at the Cabellos safe house. Theirs guard out front and they try to stop me but I throw them aside. I enter the house and more wolves are coming at me but they can't stop me.

I follow my mates smell and it leads me up a flight of stairs and to a room guarded by Alpha Alejandro's best guards.

I manage to get through them and all that's separating my mate and I is a steel door that will only open with a code on a keypad.

I can hear her whining in pain and want through the door and it only magnifies my need for her.

"Camila, baby I'm here." I say through our mind link.

"Y/N, please help me. I need you." She whimpers to me and it makes me go crazy. I try and pry the door off. I try to bust through it putting a dent into the door.

"Y/N." She whines again and I can tell she's really close to the door.

My body is in excruciating pain at this point and I curl up beside the door. I shift back and am laying naked and defenseless in front of the steel door.

"Camila." I whine and all I want is her.

After a few minutes I end up passing back out due to the amount of stress I put on my badly damaged body.

But my mind only thinks of my mate. My beautiful mate who I so badly want and need in this time. Tomorrow holds the day I will get to call her my wife, my Luna and my forever soulmate.
