*Chapter 29*
"Was yesterday our last meeting for this case?" I wanted to know after almost dying a week ago while making myself ready.
"Yeah, it was," he nodded and leaned back, resting on his bed as I was busy getting out some clothes to wear and therefore was just standing in my underwear.
"Do you think it'll all work out the way we planned it?" I questioned while getting out some black short pants with Zaron's red hoodie.
"If I knew then I wouldn't be so worried," he sat up. I went ahead to fix my hair in the bathroom when Zaron tagged along. "I mean, it usually never goes as planned," he shrugged.
"I'm pretty sure, it'll be fine. Don't worry about it. The luck will be on our side," I smiled.
"Wrong," he rolled his eyes with a smirk. "The luck will be on your side, as always," he corrected as I took a seat on the edge of the bathtub to put on my orange knee socks when I noticed some stubbles on my shin.
"Aw, I guess I'll have to shave my hair again," I muttered in annoyance and pulled the sock up.
"You shave your leg hair?" Zaron cocked an eyebrow.
"Of course I do. Else it wouldn't look cute when I wear shorts," I stood up. His eyes were glued on me for a few seconds until he just turned around, leaving without a comment.
"Come on get going," he said when I still didn't budge from my position. So I hurried over to get my shoes and put them on.
By the way, if you are wondering, we were going to my house now, since Zaron promised to do whatever I wanted. And I kind of missed my home which was why the decision wasn't hard to make.
Once we arrived at my place this time, I didn't wait for anyone to open the door, but instead I opened it myself immediately after we reached the door.
"What did you even plan to do here?" Zaron wondered and looked around the foyer a bit lost.
"You know, there are lots of things you can do here," I pointed out and grabbed his hand to lead the way. "And my brothers are probably not home."
"Probably?" He cocked his eyebrows in doubt.
"C'mon, lemme show you around, 'kay? And then we'll drink some Cocktail in the garden. What do you think?" I suggested.
"Sure," he agreed on it and so it came. I went up showing him every room with exception from the rooms of my brothers because I would happily want to keep my head attached to my body, if you know what I mean.
"Damn, so you do have a gym and a frickin' gaming room here. That's sick," he marvelled.
"Yeah but I don't go in there," I shrugged. "Working out is exhausting and I'm shitty at arcade games." It was mainly Myles who wasted his time there. Like I don't have anything better to do than that.
"And this is our little library," I showed. "So, I guess that's it with any special rooms, or no wait, we still have our tiny movie theater in there."
"I'm getting a little jealous," he mumbled as we made our way to the kitchen.

"Have you ever mixed a cocktail before?" He frowned when I started taking out some indegrients we could use.
"Nope, but it can't be that hard, right?" Zaron chuckled at me and stood by my side to give me a hand. "Let's just look it up," I suggested and for my phone out to look for cute ideas before we ended up choosing a rainbow cocktail.
"But you need orange juice for this," he reminded while I got out the indegrients.
"I know, but we'll use passion fruit juice instead. Or you don't like it? You can also have it with orange juice." He shook his head at that and watched how I poured red sirup in both of our glasses.
"You don't put alcohol inside?" Zaron wondered and tilted a bit of the orange juice inside.
"Nah, I don't drink," I shook my head and observed the two different liquid slowly transitioning.
"Don't seem like you wouldn't, though." He really seemed surprised at that.
"It tastes awful." I didn't hesitate, seeing as I found it too unnecessary. "Besides I'm not too fond of the idea that some liquid could let me reduce my already non-existent control over my body."
"Way to go," he chuckled and grabbed the soda and tinted it blue with blue food dye before I helped tilting it in our drink. The passion fruit juice slowly mixed with the blue soda that it got green at the point where the two liquids met.
I giggled. "It looks so gay." I just hope that it'll taste as good as it looked.
"Mhm," he nodded as the corner of his lips curled up to a smirk. I got out some funny drinking straws and put them in, finishing it off that way.
"So you'll bring these out and I will tidy everything up, 'kay?" He nodded and left, having the two glasses in his hands.
Once I finished, I met Zaron in the garden sitting on the lounger, waiting for me to join him. But I took the drink and was more into the hanging chair than to lay on the lounger.
"Okay, I'm not taking this rejection personally," he pouted with an amusing under tone.
"Like I'd reject you," I rolled my eyes and room a sip from the drink. "Damn, this is good," I muttered. Some time passes where we just laid around, enjoying the silence and the warmth of the sun gleaming on our skin, but at the same time feeling the soft wind, giving off a calm atmosphere.
"Quentin," Zaron broke the silence after a while. "Come here," he motioned.
"Huh? Why? It's so comfortable right now," I complained.
"So?" He cocked an eyebrow at me. This, I put my almost empty glass away and got up to accompany Zaron for unknown reasons. And since he didn't let me stay in my comfy position, I decided to make myself comfortable on him by straddling him and resting my head against his chest.
His arm almost instantly went around me while the other fumbled on my hair. "What did you even ask me here for?" My voice sounded slightly annoyed although I actually wasn't.
"I don't know," he shrugged. I sat up in confusion, causing his hand to slip off of me. "I just wanted you here."

"Well now you have me here." I leaned my forehead against his, fixing my eyes on his. I noticed how his pupils widened and distance between us narrowed the longer we stared at each other.
His hands that was before on my back shifted down to my thighs, gripping them and holding me in place when my nose brushed his. His eyes were close and his lips were just waiting for mine to touch his but somehow I backed off and just laid my head back on his chest when my heart clenched in that moment.
"What is it?" He stroked my cheek in worry.
"Nothing," I shook my head. "Just not feeling like it."
"Is something bothering you?" He sat up, having the urge to talk. I bit my lips and traced my fingers on his shirt. "Baby, c'mon talk to me," he sighed.
"Shut up," I grumbled. I was feeling kinda moody for some reason. I couldn't tell why or what exactly caused it but something didn't sit well with me.
"Okay, what is your problem now?" He started losing his temper. I tried to get up but he was gripping so I wouldn't manage to escape. "Quentin!"
I stopped moving for a moment, looking at his angered eyes and realizing something with it.
I think...
I let my head fall back to his chest as my hand tugged on his shirt.
I think I like the angry Zaron a lot, I smiled. And I think I know why I was being so moody. I somehow felt anxious.
"Zaron," I started but I didn't want him to see my face which is why I pulled his shirt over my head and hid under it, also feeling slight comfort from his warm torso. "Zaron, I feel like crying real bad right now." My voice was trembling.
"Wha-," he stopped in the middle, probably not knowing what to say. Instead, he gently removed his shirt from me, pulling it back down, so it would cover his body again. But, I wasn't too fond of it which is why removed his shirt entirely and put it down. "What are you doing?" He widened his eyes but stopped when I buried my face in his chest again. So warm.
"I want to have sex," I changed the subject and fumbled on his belt to open it.
"No, no, wait, Quentin! Stop," he tried to stop me once I pulled the zip of his pants down. Though, I kissed him quiet, directly sticking my tongue in the same time I dipped my hand in his boxers getting a hold of his cock.
That's when he grabbed my wrist, almost squishing it that it hurt, and pulled away from the kiss. "I get it," I sighed and pulled my hand out, also standing up to leave.
"No wait!" He tried to stop me, but had to zip his pants back up which hindered him from catching up.
The moment I reached the door that lead me back in, I noticed Ramon standing there not far away. "How long have you been here?" I widened my eyes.
He crossed his arms, eying me in suspicion. "Long enough," he replied. I pressed my lips together and hurried away, trying to avoid him, but he quickly caught me and dragged me to the nearest room which happen to be his.
"What the hell is going on with you?" He seemed mad at me. "Would you stop fucking things up and calm down for a minute?"
"Yeah, yeah I'm alright," I took a deep breath.
"You bipolar or something? What was that before?" He questioned but I kept silence. "Do you want him to hate you or what? Look, I may not approve your relationship, but now that you are already that deep in it, there is no way out without getting hurt. And I would rather not see you mopping around the house."
I widened my eyes at him, his words slowly repeating in my head. A small smile crept up my face that grew wider and wider until it broke into a laugh. I giggled at him and shook my head.
"What? Why are you laughing?" He frowned.
"I'm just noticing that you ain't that bad of a person," I stroked my hair to the side.
"Obviously I'm not, I'm awesome," he half grinned, half rolled his eyes. "Is everything alright now?" He made sure.
"Yes, I'm fine," I nodded. He ruffled my hair and opened the door. Zaron passed by in that moment and sighed when he found me while Ramon hurried away to leave us alone.
Zaron and I just looked at each other and it was the first time that I felt really uncomfortable. But as soon as he wrapped his arms around me, that feeling of discomfort quickly disappeared. "I'm sorry," he apologized when I let go of him. "I'm really sorry."
"What for? You didn't do nothing wrong," I smiled. "I was just messing with my own head, it has nothing to do with you."
Zaron was confused for a few seconds until his expression changed in suspicion. "Quentin? Could it be that you are not that okay as you claim to be?" His eyes were sharply gazing at me that I was taken aback, feeling him cutting and breaking into me every passing second.
"What are you talking about?" I giggled. Playing it off. "You are over thinking too much." His eyes eventually softened once he linked our hands together and guided me to my room where he locked the door behind us. "What are you planning?" I frowned looking up, his lips almost brushing mine and his body pressed against me.
"What does it look like?" He smirked and pressed a bold kiss on my lips.
"Sex?" I grinned. "Again?"
"What do you mean again? You were the one up for it first. Besides, the last time was a week ago." Right, it was. Time flies, I suppose. "You don't want to," he backed away.
"No, no, no! Now wait, I didn't say that, now did I?" I pulled him back, wrapping my arms around his lower back while his hands traced its way up, cupping my face and pulling me to another kiss.
"I guess I was worried for no reason," he pulled my shirt off and directly continued nibbling on my earlobe, also trailing kisses down my neck as his fingertips brushed over my nipples.
I tilted my head to the side when he formed a hickey on my delicate skin. "That tickles," I laughed.
