《Leading Love [boyxboy]》Chapter 19

*Chapter 19*
Just afterward there was a faint clapping sound that got louder until a red-haired guy appeared with a mischievous grin plastered on his face. "Wow that astonishingly went even better than planned," he chuckled and approached Marcus.
"You bastard! What have you done to my mates?" Marcus cursed.
"Nothing major. Just hope that they won't die," he chuckled. "Now get to the point! Where is the CTG?" He quickly got serious when he pulled him up, tugging his collar.
"I don't have it," Marcus croaked.
The ginger head wasn't up for any games and immediately threw a punch in his face which caused a guilty feeling inside me. I flinched at the impact even though it was only from sight, I definitely knew how painful a hit like that could be.
"Don't shit with me, I just saw it in your hand! But fine, if you don't want to give it then I'm just going to take it," he insisted. "Grab him!" He commanded and with that two guys jumped up and tied him down. "Search through his pockets!"
And that is what they did. They emptied everything that was in his pocket, opened his jacket and searched if he was hiding something but ended up with nothing.
"What the fuck, where is it?" Ginger was starting to lose his temper.
I bit my lip. Marcus was actually smarter than he seemed. He knew that something like that was going to happen. It was like he never really considered that we had a chance against them, to begin with. But that doesn't explain why he gave that thing to me instead.
He could have easily given it to that tattoo guy or Zaron, whoever. Such a burden, I sighed. It's not like I could do anything with a gun pointed at me. And on top of it, that guy totally reeked of aftershave.
"What are you doing? Don't stand around, grab the other guys," the ginger pointed at the other two who could still roam around freely. Of course, the three could just run away but judged by the guy who was threatening me, it wasn't like it was that easy.
"You better stand still if you don't want that guy to suffer," he pointed at me. Zaron widened his eyes as the guy holding me pressed the gun on my skin. I gritted my teeth and was forced to watch as the guy checked Zaron's pockets for the object until they noticed that they were empty as well.
"No way, who did you give the damn CTG to?" Ginger looked down at Marcus who didn't look like he was going to answer any time soon. "Since you're no help anymore then we can also just get you out of our way."
He pulled out a gun and grabbed his hair as he pointed the weapon on his face. "Are you sure you're not going to change your mind?" He wanted to make sure before putting it to an end.
"MARCUS! No! Just tell him, it's not worth it to give away your-," the girl was cut off when the one threatening her roughly pulled hair.
"SHUT UP, TESS! Just shut the fuck up. Don't lay your filthy hands on her," Marcus shouted. My tummy was turning at the sight, how everyone's hands were tied.
"I don't think that you're in the position to tell anyone what to do," Ginger muttered. I couldn't stand still. There was no way in hell I could watch this going on. And I know these eyes. That ginger head was not joking around anymore. "Instead you should utter your last goodbye," he grinned at him and was close to triggering the gun when I couldn't hold it anymore.

"STOP IT! Don't dare kill him. Who are you to take his life?!" I screamed at him which immediately made him stop and turn around. His smirk was full of amusement when he stood up and put the gun away.
"What are you doing?" Zaron hissed at me and looked at me with the same eyes as that girl who spoke up before.
What am I doing? That was a good question. If I don't do anything then I'm either getting killed by Ginger or by the one with the weapon. Though if I do that, which was the only thing that came to my mind, then I must give up my secret.
"Shit," I cursed. "I can't die now!" I still didn't get to have sex with Zaron. I huffed and smiled at that. I hope he doesn't mind the next thing I'm going to do now.
I sighed and prepared myself. With a last glance towards that ugly smiling Ginger, I turned around and pressed my lips on that aftershave reeking guy. I could mainly hear the gasps from behind when I forced my tongue in his. That was when I took advantage of the moment, took the gun away from him and let go of him.
I grinned at his dumbfounded reaction and licked my lips as I turned around and pointed the gun at Ginger. But in that instant, the same aftershave guy was about to get his revenge back and wanted to attack me. So he threw a punch at me which I easily dodged once I tucked the gun in my pants.
I pressed my lips together when he pulled out a knife, aiming at my torso. Though the only thing that was actually worrying me was Zaron's gaze. I couldn't tell how he was looking at me, neither if he was even looking at me. Honestly, I didn't want to find out.
I focused back on the guy that was irresponsibly fencing with the knife. There was no way, he could hit anyone if he was that slow, almost hesitant. I took a breath since it acquired full concentration to start my attack.
First, I skimmed through his body, locating his sen-points. He wasn't as muscular as Ramon which made it easier. And with that, I blocked his hand that was holding the knife and stabbed a sen-point on his stomach which made him groan in pain. I took that inattentive moment of his to stab his underarm so he would let go of the knife. But instead of taking the sharp blade, I grabbed his arm twisted it that he was forced to turn his back at me where I struck his back which made him fall to the ground.
I quickly picked up the knife off the floor and bit my lip as I looked down at the guy. He wasn't unconscious, it was not necessary to go that far. But he probably couldn't move right now, so it was fine.
"Zaron," I called without looking at him. I didn't want to look at him. At least not now. He was probably being guarded and I was quite positive that he had a knife with him, but it was too showy to just get it out when someone is pointing a gun at him.
So all I did was giving him that moment, also an opportunity, to distract the guard. Even if it is just a second, I was sure he'd understand it. And that is how I used the knife and threw it at the guard, making it look like I was aiming for him.

That was the moment he used to turn the roles around. The guard was fixed on the flying knife while Zaron didn't give it a glimpse and took the gun out of his hand, pointing his knife at the guard.
I couldn't help but smile at the fact that he really did understand me. He knew that there was no way that I could have seriously hit the guard. I'm just a normal guy when it comes to knives.
Once I turned around to that Ginger head, I was surprised at him pointing the gun at me. "What did you do to him?" It sounded like a growl.
"He's probably still in shock from that amazing kiss," I smirked as he narrowed his eyes. "He's not dead, relax." I rolled my eyes and turned to the guy. "Other than you, I don't kill people thoughtlessly," I crossed my arms, looking back at him.
"I wouldn't have if he had just given me the damn thing. So however you look at it, he had a choice," he justified.
"That's what you call a choice?" I frowned. "Okay, then I'm giving you a choice, too. See, if you give me that gun you have in your hand, then I'll tell you where the CTG is. And I promise I'm not going to shoot with it."
"You're lying!" He assumed.
"I'm not a person to lie for something I don't technically care for," I shook my head. "If you don't believe me then you are free to just shoot me down. But I'm telling you, no one other than I and Marcus know where it is. So as soon as I'm dead, you're going home with empty hands since Marcus is not going to say anything even if you threaten him."
That made him insecure as he let his hand with the gun fall. "Fuck, and you're telling me I'm rude."
"At least whatever you pick you're not going to die," I chuckled.
"Okay fine," he raised his hands. "I'm giving you the gun if you tell me," he agreed and reached out the weapon. Though before I could grab it, he let the bullets fall to the ground. So the gun was basically useless for me. I still took it since I never planned to shoot him with it so it didn't matter. That's why I took the gun I was carrying and also turned it useless.
I'm pretty sure he was still hiding another weapon but as long as it wasn't anything to shoot then I was fine. I don't know if you could already catch that up but I'm not the biggest fan when it comes to guns.
"Now tell me! Where the hell did you put that thing," he crossed his arms.
"Oh, you mean this?" I pulled it out of my pocket and showed it to him.
"The fuck, Boss!" The tattoo guy complained. "Why would you give it to that twink?"
I pursed my lip. "Hey, tattoo face!" I scowled. "You'll end up like that guy if you don't stop calling me twink," I pointed at the guy laying on the ground.
"Give it to me, if you know what is good for you," Ginger menacingly demanded, but I shook my head and let it fall back into my pocket.
"Nope, that was not in the deal. I told you where it is, but I never mentioned anything about giving it to you." He could have guessed that it wasn't that easy to get through me. But seriously, if I mess this up, I'm going to get my ass kicked. Nope, not risking that.
"Okay fine, then I'm going to get it myself," he insisted and lunged at me, grabbing my collar when he suddenly pulled something out and sprayed it onto my face until he let go when he let out a mischievous laugh.
I didn't let the biting acid get through me and quickly aimed for a counter attack where I carelessly stabbed as many sen-points I could hit until he fell to the ground in pain and slumped to the floor. "W-why is it not working?" He croaked as he tried to move but failed.
"You're wrong," I shook my head as I hysterically started coughing. My throat was burning, itching and it was draining the air out of my lungs. I guess, now I knew where the sour and burned smell came from. I tried exhaling as much air as possible but it only seemed to get worse. I could feel the tears rising up as I was desperately gasping for air.
My head was turning and I was about to lose my balance when all of a sudden I was caught. Once I looked to the side I recognized Marcus with a half-smiling face. "You're a weird guy," he commented and helped me stand.
"What are you saying? I'm perfectly normal," I coughed and smiled.
"I would suggest to let us go if you don't want anything to happen to you're boss," Marcus spoke up to all the guards who seemed to be in a critical position now. And that was when the masked and in black dressed guardians withdrew and ran off after they picked up their two men who had still been laying on the floor.
That was when I couldn't take the burning feeling and started coughing again. I automatically dropped to the ground and hopelessly tried to get rid of that burning sensation.
"C'mon everyone who's still able to stand should go get some water," Marcus demanded. And that was when Zaron appeared in front of me a few seconds later with an opened water bottle. I thankfully accepted it an chugged it down my throat as the feeling finally disappeared and let me breath.
I panted in exhaustion, changed my position to a sitting one as I watched Zaron with crossed arms and an expecting expression. "Let's keep that for later, okay?" He grinned and reached his hand out for me which I accepted.
"Are you two together?" Marcus questioned with a frown.
"Amazing right," I grinned.
"Zaron, that guy's really peculiar," he shook his head.
"I'm not. I told you I'm perfectly normal. You should rather take your peculiar thing back. This shit caused a lot of unwanted tension," I returned the CTG back.
"Thanks," he smiled. "Really."
"Huh? What for?" I frowned. "It's not like I had done that for you. I mean, why would I? I seriously didn't want to get scowled for destroying it, that's it. Besides, I definitely couldn't risk getting killed. At least not before I get to have sex with Zaron because-" That was when Zaron covered my mouth, stopping me from letting out any more words.
"That's enough," he rolled his eyes.
Marcus chuckled. "Maybe I'll leave you two alone for now." He went ahead and left us back as I turned to Zaron who seemed a bit troubled.
"What is it?" I wondered.
"I can't believe you just kissed that guy," he huffed. "If it wasn't for that moment I'd have really gotten mad. Though the fact that you can actually fight is... just mind-blowing. Still hard to believe."
"I promise, I'll explain it later," I pressed my lips together.
I could totally see his reaction coming, I sighed.

Zeroth Knight
Isekai, fantasy, with the core themes of Identity and Fate. Story contains a, mostly, lesbian cast. Just when she was about to confess to the man of her dreams, Eve is taken by a light to another world. Swallowing her up, against her will, eroding her, it demands a life so contrary to her previous one. In a new world with the title of “Zeroth” forced upon her, she must rely on her newfound “friends” to stay sane and navigate her responsibilities. But bit by bit, the world loses sight of the girl inside; seeing only “Zero,” the person she did not desire to be, but the hero that the world needed. Will Eve let the title she bears consume her, or will she become the hero in both body and mind? This is the tale of her struggles, and a star-crossed love destined by Fate to never converge. This is the tale of Zero. This story is a slow-burn, meant to be a few hundred pages or more in length, so the plot isn't the fastest to move. It also has lesbian-themed relationships for the majority of its cast. This story partially falls under, "harem" with the main character being female and gaining the affection of other females, against (at first) the main character's (Eve) will. This first arc will be more focused on the mentality and emotions of the cast with battles spaced intermittently. The second arc will involve a lot more fighting. Arc two will be out in a reasonable timeframe.
