"Yes he is an upcoming hero, but can he be trusted?"
Pro hero Hawks now climbing the ranks to the top 10 heroes was catching not only the attention of other heroes but as well as the hero commission and powerful villain groups.
"It is not whether he can be trusted but rather if he can be of use to us."
"Yes, but can we keep him under control?"
Being one of the youngest heroes to become so popular fast was just too tempting for the hero commission to get their hands on.
"He is still young, the younger they are, the better a chance you have of taming them."
Now, Keigo Takami is under the commission's control and is missioned as a spy for no other than the uprising league of villains. Pro-hero Hawks was seen as a traitor by other heroes and a friend of the villains. But he was still playing a part in his own game as well...

3rd POV
"You know, Hawks?"
Izuku teased. The small sounding of chains clinking in the night air.
"Hm?"
The blond responded pushing his feet on the ground.
"You're not the first pro hero I've become acquaintances with..."
Izuku stopped swinging and stared blankly at a shocked Hawks.
"I know not to trust heroes anymore and I know not to trust villains."
"I understand If you don't trust me Midoriya-san."
The blonde smiled as he continued to swing.
"It's not that I don't trust you," Izuku stared at the man before cocking his head to the side. "I just can't tell what side you're on."
"Side?"
"As you probably already know, a first-year student at UA was suspected of mental problems and was convicted of stealing school files."
Izuku said softly as he looked at the ground in thought.
"I did nothing of the sort but was framed by my only friend who says they are a hero but seems to act as a villain of who is just misunderstood."
The pro frowned realizing that the boy in front of him was the cause for the hero commission to be wary of all heroes, civilians, and villains together. They thought that if an overly smart student of UA escaped from the most secure place in the country would cause problems for the progress they worked so hard for. The progress of gaining control of the people under them.

"So now... Im someone who will side with certain villains and heroes that seem to see the world for what it truly is."
Izuku looked at the man with furrowed brows.
"But you... You don't have a side."
"What?"
The blonde finally speaks more shocked.
"You, Keigo, don't care what happens to the world around you."
"Wha- That's... No, I..."
The blonde spluttered denying what he was being told. He himself should know whether if he's on a side or not. If anyone knew anything about him it's himself. So why? Why was some run-away student telling him what he is and how he sees the world.
"You don't have to deny it. But let me ask you if you had a chance, would you not have become a hero?"
Izuku asked. After a long silence, he sighed and pushed off the ground to swing himself. The moon shone so softly on them at the playground. The small streetlights around the park also gave a soft glow. Though, the only thing the pro hero could look at was the small smile as Izuku went back and forth on the swing. His mind was perplexed with his own thoughts and problems but for some reason, he felt his heart flutter when the moonlight reflected off the light emerald eyes of the boy.
"I wouldn't have become a hero."
He finally said. Izuku stopped swinging and looked at him.
"I think... I know that if I did have a choice I would have been working at a small cafe. Serving people coffee and food instead of serving them my life to help them."
He shrugged his shoulders.
"You would've made an excellent barista."
Izuku grinned and the man all but laughed.
"Deep down I don't care what side I'm on, but when I'm not thinking of myself, I do want to help people."
"You just don't want the responsibility."
Keigo gave a short nod.
"If I were to screw up one single job, it would be on me. People's lives would be in my hands and if someone were to die, It would be my fault."

"Why don't you see it as a game then."
Izuku said blankly.
"Think of the people you are trying to save as the lives of your character. If you lose one, there will still be others you can have a chance of saving. If you lose all, you will respawn. But think of the respawning as a new you learning from your mistakes so when the next time you have more lives, you'll be able to know what to do and what not to do to save them."
"Yeah but a life is still a life. No matter how much you see as a learning experience, blood would still be on your hands."
"I learned that when you try to save everyone, you put more people in danger. So now, Im annihilating the people who don't deserve to be saved."
Izuku frowned not quite believing in his own words.
"But your lives... You will lose all of your lives."
Izukus frown grew. He didn't use to think this way. He wanted to save everyone even if they weren't worth it. He wanted to protect everyone, not let them die when he saw them as bad.
"What's wrong with me?"
He looked at the pro with teary eyes. He felt so conflicted. His mind was telling him to do what's good for people but his heart was telling him to help all in need even if they were cold-blooded killers.
"I... I don't know what I am anymore..."
He choked back a sob. He gripped onto the chains of the swing.
"Izuku you... You are a good person."
Keigo said placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Am I though?"
Izuku said turning to make eye contact with the man. His eyes weren't shining anymore. They weren't like green jewels anymore. His smile was gone and all Keigo could see was a blank page waiting... giving up on a drawing to be made. The boy that sat before him was losing himself to his own thoughts. The Izuku Midroiya he saw at the sports festival was a bright and proud student who knew what he wanted. But now, the kid didn't even believe in what he was doing right now.
"Listen-"
"DEKU!"
An explosion erupted in the air.
"For fucks sake, Kacchan."
Izuku mumbled wiping away his tears and turning from the pro. Ice started to reach the ground and in came a stoic Todoroki and Denki hanging onto him for dear life.
"They just can't seem to leave you alone..."
Hawks chuckled. Izuku groaned and leaned his head on the swing chain.
"You can go to your 'job', Hawks."
The man chuckled and stood from the swing. He softly grabbed Izukus's hand and planted a small kiss on it before flying away.
"IZUKU!"
The boy was engulfed in a tight hug from Baster. He hesitated when he saw his own hands about to reach around the other's neck but instead he dropped his hands to his lap as the cat man nuzzled into his neck.
"Are you done running, nerd?"
Bakugo spat out of breath.
"Im sorry guys. You just don't deserve to be doing any of this. Your hands are still clean, you can still be pro heroes."
"We don't want to be heroes without you Midoriya."
Todoroki said with a scared Denki still clinging on to him.
"We made our choice Deku. It's time that you made yours."
Bakugo furrowed his brows.
"Choice?"
Izuku said aloud. He still felt so conflicted with what he wanted. He felt like the monsters he tried so hard to fight against. Yet, he still wanted to be a good person as well.
"Right now, I just want you guys to be here... With me."
"That's all you had to say."
Denki chuckled finally getting off Todoroki.
"Don't forget about me."
A smiling Shinso came into view.
"Jeez, you guys need to get a life."
Izuku laughed. Izuku still felt confused with his thoughts but he now knew that he would start to follow his heart instead when it comes to saving people's lives.
