《You Broke Me First》Ch. 28- Betrayal and Trust

Shigys POV
To say the least, my plan was going accordingly. Well besides the fact that I keep getting calls about some duo attacking everyone including the heroes. And a man-eating cat? Of course, I can only guess who it is. Midoriya. I tried to be nice to him but he won't listen! I care for him but he's pushed my last button. I'm going to deal with him the same I'm going to deal with All-Bitch.
"You ready Shimura?"
A voice rang in my earpiece.
"Ready as we'll ever be."
Then a portal opened beside us. Me and Dabi walked in first. A few lower pro heroes were standing by and trying to attack us.
"Dabi, hold them off. We'll go find the symbol of peace."
After blue flames filled the room with an opening for me and Compress. We ran through them and into a different room. A room that of course had a lock. I rolled my eyes and pulled my glove off. I placed my hand on the knob and watched it turn to dust. The door creaked open. There stood a stunned blonde and an annoying-looking rat thing.
"Well, this was easier than I thought."
I snorted. I snapped my finger and Compress went to All-bitch and turned him into a marble.
"Let's go."
We were about to walk out when that rat thing appeared in front of us.
"May I ask where you are taking him?"
"None of your business, now move before you become a marble as well."
He smiled and moved aside.
"Bet young Midoriya will be coming any second you know."
I stopped in my tracks.
"And I should care, why?"
I said over my shoulder.
"Well, isn't he the one behind all this?"
I turned around and glared at the rat.
"Midoriya is nothing but a prisoner to me. He is all but a waste of a life. And if you should know, he still has one for all. I wonder what would happen to him once master finds out."

I smirked. The rat grinned at me and I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned to see a wide-eyed blonde kid standing in the doorway next to an all too familiar boy with green hair and eyes. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it and put on a smile.
"I guess you don't need a prisoner's help, right?"
He spoke.
"..."
I didn't know what to say. The only other person to understand and accept me stood where he could clearly hear what I said. Not only did he see me as a person rather than a leader of villains, but I also grew to care about him. And in return, I said how little he is to me even though it wasn't true.
"Mid-"
*Boom!*
The building shook. I looked at Midoriya with desperate eyes. His once soft and light eyes turned dark and cold.
"I hope you got what you wanted."
He spat and truned to run. I reached my hand out to grab him but I was pulled back by Compress.
"LET GO!"
I struggled against his grasp.
"We have to leave, Shimura!"
Dabi yelled wobbling towards us with the building shaking yet again.
"We got what we came for... Let's go."
Compress spoke. I growled in annoyance and turned toward the now open portal. I took one more look back and sighed. What did I do?

Izukus POV
I was betrayed yet again. First, it was my best friend, then it was the rest of UA, Including All might and Aizawa. Then it was my mom, And now? The one person who I thought would understand my situation. I'm done putting hope in people. I'm done trusting people who in the end are going to betray and leave me like nothing.
"...oriya!"
"Midoriya!"
I turned and looked at Denki as we continued to run through the crumbling building. He had a worried expression. I slowed to a stop and he followed.

"Hey, what's wrong? We have to go before this place becomes dust."
He said nervously. I stared at the ground.
"I..."
I then started to feel my eyes water.
"Kami I..."
My voice cracking I let my tears fall and dropped down to the ground with my face in my hands.
"Midroiya..."
I felt arms wrap around me. I sniffled and tried wiping at my non-stop tears.
"Hey, it's ok."
He whispered into my ear. Hearing that made something deep down in me snap. I pulled away and stood to my feet.
"IT'S NOT OK! IT'S NEVER GOING TO BE OK!"
I yelled. Another explosion went off, shaking the building again.
"Izuku, I know you're hurting but-"
"Oh, you know?"
I laughed and wiped my tears again.
"Do you also know how long I had to pretend to be okay? How long I have tried to make sure everyone else was happy?"
I walked to a nearby wall feeling for a weak spot.
"People say they understand but why is that when it comes to a point in time that they decide that they."
"But I do! And so does a lot of other people that care about you!"
Denki yelled walking towards me. I found a weak spot in the concrete wall and raised my fist.
"If you guys cared, I wouldn't be here right now."
I punched the wall using 100% of my quirk. The building crumbled even more. There were now multiple holes that lead through all the walls until the outside showed.
"Wait here."
I then used my quirk and sped through all the holes until I was outside. Bright lights were then shined on me. I looked and saw police helicopters, cop cars, and those big trucks that the super-armed police come in. I started my quirk, seeing that my sparks weren't green anymore... They were red mixed with very few green sparks here and there.
"Stand down problem child."
An all too familiar voice said. I turned and saw pro-hero eraser head.
"Hey teach. You finally decided to join the fun?"
I smiled. His eyes glowed red and his hair floated up. I looked down and saw that my quirk wasn't erasing.
"Wouldya look at that."
I aimed my hand at them and flicked my finger, making them all fly back with a harsh landing
"You know I really tried to be ok, I really tried to be happy, but when everyone you care about betrays you, a person can go a bit mad. Especially a suicidal teen who has nothing left to lose."
I raise my arm and aimed another shot at a helicopter that kept circling me.
"MIDORIYA THIS ISNT YOU!"
Aizawa yelled trying to stand up.
"If this isn't me then what is?"
I said slumping my shoulders and lowering my arm.
"You are a student at UA trying to become a hero to save people."
He said. I stopped my quirk and held my hand out with tears at the corners of my eyes and a soft smile. Aizawa sighed and started to walk toward me.
"That's not what I wanted to hear, sensei."
He stopped in his tracks and I sent another strong pressure of wind using 200% of my quirk this time. Everyone and everything was sent backward. Debris now filling the night air. I lowered my hand and walked toward the building again to see Danki hiding behind a wall.
"I'll give you one more chance to stay."
I said letting my tears dry against my cheeks. The blond looked up at me with a puzzled look before standing up and throwing his arms around me.
"I already made my decision."
He said. I smiled but let it fall when I remembered that I couldn't trust anyone. I pulled back and looked at his gold eyes. I put on a small smile.
"Thank you..."

My name is Joo In-gong. The name that my parents gave me meant ‘protagonist’ of the world. As anyone can predict, I was constantly teased due to my name. In kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and high school. If I went to university as planned then I would probably be laughed at there as well. So, at one point, I really hated my name. But not anymore. Now, I think slightly differently. Maybe being named Joo In-gong was a type of foreshadowing?
