《His Red Eyes {SasuNaru}》Chapter 6

"Field trips!" Kakashi exclaimed, with no enthusiasm whatsoever, leaning on the front part of his desk. Half of the class groaned while the other half cheered, Naruto being a part of them.
I stayed silent and put my head on my desk, stupid field trips, waste of time. "Cheer up, Sasuke!" Naruto said, joyfully, "Maybe we'll go somewhere cool!"
I can get through this, as long as it's not an over-night- "And I should probably mention that we'll be there overnight," Kakashi said, cutting my thoughts off.
Well, that fucking sucks. I glance over at Naruto, whose eyes were practically gleaming with glee. He looked at me, all excited, "SASUKE! ISN'T THIS AMAZING!" he shouted as he violently shook me from joy.
"USURATONKACHI! STOP SHAKING ME!" I yelled at him. He stopped shaking me and gave me a sorry-I-got-carried-away, look.
I sigh, "The trip will be on a mountain, so you can learn to survive with the basics. To make sure you don't get lost and so that you aren't scared, you will have a flashlight, map, a tent, and a partner," Kakashi said, explaining the rest of the trip.
"And about choosing your partners, I will-" he stopped mid-sentence as he saw almost him whole class giving him puppy eyes. They really must have wanted to choose partners.
"You can all pick your partners, but it will be boy-boy and girl-girl," Kakashi sighed, the class cheered. Almost instantly, you could hear the screeching of chairs and hustle to pick their partners.
Sasuke knew he wouldn't be partnered up with a majority of the boys. They all disliked him for being cocky and popular with the ladies.
I guess I'll just do it by myself. There is an odd number after al- "Sasuke! Wanna be partners?" I glance to my left to see the blonde,

Are you kidding me? "No." I stated calmly, "Huhhhh?! Come on, please?" he asked me with despair in his voice.
I look around the classroom, and I noticed something. Everyone was avoiding us. Of course, Naruto is unpopular and I'm disliked by most of them,
I catch a glimpse of Naruto's pleading face and look away almost instantly, "Fine, but only this once," I say, defeated.
He grins widely and cheers, giving us a good amount of stares from the rest of our classmates.
We sat in silence as the rest of our classmates partnered up. Kakashi noticed that we were done and began explaining, "Now that everyone has been paired up, I will explain the rules,"
"You will be given a budget by the school. You will then meet up with your partner outside of school and buy the essential items. We have given you a list which suggests the best items to buy. You can choose to follow it or not, everyone with me so far?"
Kakashi eyed the silent, still classroom before resuming his explanation, "After about a month or two, we will hike up a mountain together as a class. We will leave you and your partner in a designated marked area where you are to stay in and not leave,"
"This trip is not just for fun. We will be grading how well you found food, light, and water for two whole days, not including the half-day we spent trying to get there. We will have hourly checks on you guys, so you need not worry, don't shouldn't worry about getting lost. You will have trackers on you at all times. If you choose to remove the tracker and you get lost, we will NOT be taking our time to come to find you."

The class didn't think he was serious about not looking for them, but Kakashi was dead serious.
"That should be it. If you have any questions feel free to ask any teacher in the building except me," he said with a bored tone, and adjusted his posture, and sat down at his desk, with his Icha Icha book in hand.
I already lose brain cells from talking with the blonde Namikaze. Now I have to spend two and a half days with him, this really is torture.
I felt a tap on my shoulder. I already know who it is, "What is it?" I groaned,
"Sasuke, when should we meet up?" he asked me, "I don't know when you're busy, I'm free every day, so," he explained,
"Meet me on Saturday at your house," I said, not thinking about what I was saying,
"Ehhh!? My house? Why mine?" he said, with a hint of worry in his voice, strange...
I look at him, "I have guests over. We're not going to stay there. I'll just pick you up," I say, confused about why he wouldn't want me there. He couldn't hate me. He was the one that volunteered to partner up with me.
He hesitates before nodding reluctantly. He turns away from my gaze and stays quiet for the rest of the class. Maybe I hit a nerve or something?
I shake the thought out of my head before thinking about the string again as I lay my head on the desk, it was a constant idea that kept coming back to me.
About the last Uzumaki. The dead clan, and everything else about it. I don't know an Uzumaki. I checked everyone's last names in the entire school, not one of them have that last name.
I don't communicate with people outside of school, so it shouldn't be anyone I've seen or met. My mom was probably right, even though I don't want to believe it.
The Uzumaki is probably hiding or has their name changed, I can't dig into the students' family records, the school won't allow it. I could try to get to know them myself, but why would I try to do that?
I hear Naruto speak up, which snapped me out of my thoughts, "Hey, Sasuke?"
"Hn?" I reply,
"Are you doing okay?" I look up at him, "I mean, you seem stressed out lately. I just wanna know if I can help or something like that.." he rambled on.
I look him up and down. He's social. I'll give him that. He's pretty cute, so that could be a plus side, and I'm pretty sure he's lived in this town his whole life. That confirms it, I'll tell him.
I sit up straight and look him in the eye, "I guess you could say that,"
His eyes widen, "Are you doing fine? Is there something I can help with?" he asks, with my well-being the only thing that mattered to him at the moment,
The bell suddenly rang, and students began hurrying out of the classroom. I pack up and give him one last look before walking away, "I'll explain it when we meet Saturday,"
He stares at me, then gains his composure and nods. It's official, Naruto Namikaze will now help me with my goal.
A/N I was trying out the whole longer chapter thing. Tell me if you like it :)

[COMPLETE] Soz this may be cringe, it was written very long ago A seemingly ordinary, working college girl meets a cool, undeniably sexy boy with millions of followers at his feet. How will their completely different lives allow, or prevent them from getting what they want? Expect some drama, flirty lines, steamy scenes, funny best friends, and perhaps, an overall epic love connection. ~Carter came around the corner as his eyes darkened with a predatory gaze. Oh no. He took a step forward, minimalizing the distance with every dominating stride, as I froze in my spot. My breath hitched as his arms finally encircled my waist and his eyes locked with mine. In one swift motion, he flipped my body so my back was pressed against his chest and hands gripped the curve of my hips. "What game are you trying to play at Valerie?" he spoke in a husky voice. Goosebumps danced along my skin as his hot breath fanned against the shell of my ear and his fingertips lit a trail of blazing heat along the length of my arm. Mentally shaking myself from the trance of that which is Carter Bryson, I tilted my head towards him and whispered; "One where you'll lose." Quickly escaping his hold on me before the tension became unbearable, I spun on my heel to face him and slowly backed away towards the exit. "Good luck though." I added mischievously. With a smirk and a devilish glint in his eyes that could even give hell a run for its money, he replied; "I'm not a player though, baby. I'm the gamemaker."~❗️Mature content.
