I walk to the wall of the school and place my bag next to it. I sigh and lean against the wall. I slide down the wall until I was sitting on the ground.

I look at the trees, waving in the wind. I hear the happy laughs of children passing by the school, some on bikes, and others playing games like tag.

I see someone behind the window on the third floor. I could only see the silhouette. If they were watching me, they might as well take a picture. It'll last longer. It would also give them the false hope that I'll ever take the time out of my day to even glance at them.

Damn, that got dark real quick. Let's keep those thoughts out of my head for now.

I overhear footsteps, and I turn my head to see Neji walking towards me. I quickly glance back to the window, and the figure was no longer standing there.

I get up, and Neji puts his back down next to mine and faces me. "Let's hurry this up," he tells me,

I nod, he closes his eyes. When he opens his eyes no longer had pupils, his eyes were a light purple.

"Give me your hand," he ordered me. I raised an eyebrow, "I need it to find your soulmate," he informs me.

I reluctantly give him my hand, and he instantly zones out. Was this part of the process or something? A couple of seconds late, he snaps out of his daze, and his eyes widen.

"T-That shouldn't happen.." he stuttered, looking away from me.

"What? What shouldn't happen?" I ask him, worried.

He looks up at me. With pity in his eyes. Was my soulmate really that bad? Who could be that bad? I mean, Karin exists,

He opens his mouth then closes it, "What is it, Neji?" I ask him once more,

He finally gains the courage to tell me, "I can't see anything,"

I give him a perplexed look, "What do you mean?"

"I mean, I can't see anything. The person's face should appear in my mind almost instantly, but there's nothing," he tells me,

My eyes widen, I let go of his hand and lean against the wall.

Well, I've learned something today. I can confirm that at least one Uzumaki is still around.
