I didn't leave though.
If i was being honest with myself, me leaving won't solve anything. I already have a child for him, there's already something holding us together.
But i still wasn't very comfortable with the killings. It's even worse that Ky'Mon feels no guilt.
Yes, he did it for me but still.
Ky'Mon didn't come back home after that night.
I knew what he was doing. He was testing me to see if i would go with Honey and no matter how stubborn i am, I'm not stubborn enough to dare him.
It's been two days. He hasn't called me and i also didn't bother to call him.
Isacc was always around Honey which made me realize he was reporting back to Ky'Mon.
I sighed and called Issac then gave Esther to him. I was feeling very dizzy and tired and i knew Esther was too hyperactive to let me sleep.
Ky'Mon didn't wanna get her a nanny, he said he don't trust them hood bitches. Besides, it's not like I'm doing anything.
I checked the time and saw it was past two. I set the alarm for five pm.
Isaac kept coming to me with Honey in his arms. He noticed me feeling down and frowned.
"Queen, you need to see a doc, you don't look well".
I shook my head and waved my hand in dismissal.
"You sure cos y-".
"I'm fine, just a bit tired", i played with Honey before handing her back to Issac.
Then i went back to sleep.
When i woke up later, it was already nine pm. My head was feeling very heavy and i was burning up.
I groaned in pain as i panted heavily. I stood up, holding my phone and went into the bathroom. I watched the bathtub as it filled with water then sat in.
My body relaxed and i closed my eyes in satisfaction.
After a while, i dialed Koko's number.
Then i explained everything to her.
Koko sighed.
"Tiesha, i got one question for you".
"Yeah?".
"GIRL, WHAT IS THE COLOR OF YOUR PROBLEM?", she yelled.
I flinched and almost dropped my phone into the water, my eardrum pounding.

"Koko what the fuck?".
"What exactly did he do wrong huh?, he killed that guy, so what?. One way or the other, we're killing someone".
"How can you say that?", i frowned.
"Take for example, Lowe kills and i don't have one problem with it cos i know he don't kill innocents. That guy Ky'Mon killed fucking raped you and he's avenging for you. Are you stupid?!. If you leave his house, don't ever talk to me again".
"Seriously?", i rolled my eyes.
"Yeah cos he's a good niqqa. The niqqas out here just want pussy. Ky'Mon is loyal and caring, what else you looking for huh?. You leave him, what makes you think you'll get a better niqqa?".
"But that don't mean he should kill. Bae, he don't just kill, Ky'Mon butchers people, takes them apart piece by piece".
"And I'm sure they've done worse, Tiesha Think!. At least you know he's doing it, what if you with someone else and you don't know shit?".
"Maria ion know".
"Hope, you gotta stay. He needs you", she said making me roll my eyes.
"Niqqa hasn't been home in two days".
"And your ass didn't bother to call him?".
"N-".
"Girl, you're his queen. He chose you through thick and thin. Do same for him".
"Thanks Koko".
"Nah, thank me until you back with your man. Now bye, i gotta cook for my boys".
I sighed as i hung up the Call. Maybe Koko was right.
After my bath, i dressed and went to knock on Isaac's door. He opened the door and opened it even wider when he saw me.
I stepped into his room and saw my baby sleeping peacefully on his bed.
"Thanks Isaac, you could have brought her to me".
"I tried to, i knocked but you wasn't answering so i thought you was really tired and didn't wanna bother you".
I nodded as i gathered Esther in my arms.
"Queen, you sure you okay? cos you don't really look good", Isaac stared at me skeptically.
"I'm fine, goodnight", i gave him a small smile and walked out.

I wasn't fine.
By the next day, it had become difficult for me to even raise a spoon. By now, it was glaring i was sick so i decided to try some self medication.
I slept the whole day as i felt very weak. When i woke up in the evening, i decided to get something to eat.
I made my way out of the room and down the stairs when i heard Issac whispering.
"Nah, she don't feel too good. I think she running a fever and she's refusing to go to the hospital".
I stopped in my tracks and listened.
"You gotta come home. Nah, ion think she seeking attention".
"But-".
"Okay King".
I turned around and went back upstairs.
That stupid ass niqqa thinking I'm craving his attention.
Yes, you are, my subconscious said.
I changed my clothes then went back downstairs, ate some food and willed myself to go to the hospital with Issac and Esther.
The doctor performed a series of tests then told me it was just typhoid fever. I had let it seep deep into me before getting treated.
He put me on proper medication. He didn't want me to go home so i could be taken proper care of but i promised him I'll do well.
Then i stepped out of the doctor's office and saw Norma, Tacha's friend. I nudged Isaac and told him to go with Esther to start the car. He looked at me before leaving.
"If it ain't the bitch who trapped Ky'Mon".
I rolled my eyes and tried to walk past her but she stopped me.
"Damn, you look bad. You miss him that much?, it's just been three days".
I frowned at her.
"How do you know that?", i asked.
She chuckled softly and scanned my body from head to toe.
"You look preggo, you finna think you the only one he doing?".
"Fuck you talking about Norma?".
"You didn't hear this from me. I'm kidding, you did. You know where he been sleeping this past few days?".
I furrowed my eyebrows at her.
"Don't think too much, lemme just tell you", she waved her hand around then pointed to herself.
"What?", i was shocked yet very calm.
"Yeah, your man's been in this pussy for some days now".
Then i laughed.
I laughed so hard i snorted. Norma frowned at me.
"What's funny?", she asked.
"Norms, look at me and look at you. We're not in the same class. Bitch, I'm the Queen of this city. Why the fuck would Ky'Mon want your cheap and rotten hood pussy?".
Her jaw dropped but she quickly gathered herself and glared at me.
"Trying to act like you don't care huh?",
"You wrong, i care. I just know Ky'Mon ain't hitting that, not now not in a million fucking years. I know my man. Now get the fuck out of my way", i pushed her aside and walked away not even waiting for her to reply.
When we got back home, Esther was already asleep so i woke her up and fed us dinner then i took my drugs and we had our bath together.
Baby girl just went back to sleep so i gathered her in my arms as we slept on the large bed.
I wish Ky'Mon was here, i wanted to apologize for everything but i didn't wanna call him. He could still be upset and it's not a discussion i wanna have on the phone.
I sighed as i snuggled Esther into my chest.
"I miss your daddy", i whispered in her ear.
I didn't even think much about Norma cos i trust Ky'Mon. I'm only confused as to how she knows.
I kissed my baby's cheek and went to sleep, Ky'Mon's face on my mind.
Later that night in the middle of the night, i was deep in dreamland when i sensed the bed dip behind me.
Then an arm wrapped around my waist and a chest pressed against my back. I felt wet lips on my neck and shoulder.
"I missed you, Lil mama".

Exponential Mana Regeneration
When the Change occurred, humanity suddenly found itself with superhuman constitutions and the ability to use mana. All the government leaders had known about it beforehand and had made an announcement, so there was little strife and instead excitement to loot the dungeons that the Change had created. Kyle Anders was incredibly excited when he saw his starting skill, called Exponential Mana Regeneration, but his excitement quickly waned when he realized it was almost useless with his starting mana pool of twenty. He had nearly given up hope on being a mage when his family got him a new skill for his 18th birthday. Suddenly, with his mana pool expanded because of the skill, Kyle’s mana regeneration shot through the roof. But while humanity worked hard to loot dungeons and increase their skills and stats, Change was coming, and peace cannot last forever. The story is currently on haitus. (This story is a work in progress. As the first story that I have ever written, the beginning, especially the first ten chapters or so, needs heavy editing. I have decided to continue writing the story instead of going back and editing the beginning. I hope that despite all its flaws you will still find my story enjoyable.)

Greene's Monthly Contest
most writers don't have enough recognition. most of them only win awards based on the general aspects of a story; genre or theme, judged by the same things, not appreciating the genius behind the chapters. same awards, same results.--and we disagree with that.
