Motiesha shot up from bed and almost fell down. She groaned in pain at the injury on her leg.
"My sister was raped?".
"She was almost raped".
"So she wasn't?".
"To me, it means same and imma kill the nigga. My boys are bringing her to the mansion now".
"I'm coming now", she said.
"Okay", was all he said before ending the call.
Tiesha quickly dressed up and went to the gate which was locked.
"Sorry Queen, King said you ain't allowed to leave", a guard said.
Tiesha sighed in irritation.
Ky'Mon was starting to annoy her. She dialed his number and he picked up.
"Sup?".
"Ky'Mon I gotta go. My sister is in danger".
"Where?", she heard a loud crash in the background and he groaned.
"Faster Toria".
"I'm cumming!", someone in the background yelled.
Tiesha's heart shattered but she couldn't deal with this now. Her sister needed her.
"Lowe's house, I'll be sleeping there".
"It's late Tiesha".
"Then come pick me up".
"I'm busy".
Yeah, I know. Some girl is riding you, her inside voice said in resentment.
"Then let me go, I really need to go. It's urgent. You can't keep me here".
"Awright, give the phone to the guard".
She did and waited for him to give instructions. The guard handed the phone back to her.
"Lil mama, I miss your pu-".
Motiesha ended the call not waiting for him to finish the sentence.
Stupid ass nigga, she spat.
The guard opened the gate and she drove out, speeding to Lowe's house. Fortunately, she didn't get a speed ticket.
When she got the house, she went in and saw Lowe pacing in the living room, blunt in his mouth.
He looked up when he heard her come in.
"Is she here?", she asked.

"Not yet".
She nodded and sat down, placing her hands on her thighs.
Lowe sat down and began to roll another blunt as she looked at him. He caught her staring at him and she quickly looked away.
"You ever gon forgive me?", she asked.
"No", he said at once.
Minutes later, Kiesha came into the house holding unto someone. Tiesha quickly stood up and helped her sister lie on the sofa. Lowe dropped the blunt as he came over to her.
Kiesha hugged her elder sister tight as she cried.
"Tiesha", she sobbed on her chest.
Tiesha looked at her sister carefully. Kiesha was wearing a guy's shirt which got to her thighs. The hand marks on her thighs were very clear. Her knees were bruised and her feet were dirty.
She was shaking in Tiesha's arms.
"It's fine".
"Is all good", Lowe patted Kiesha's back then he looked at the guy that brought her.
"Yeah?. The fuck happened?", Lowe asked with a cold voice.
"She was going home from her boyfriend's house and she got sidelined in a dark alley".
Lowe looked at Kiesha and scratched his nose.
"Why didn't you take a cab?", Tiesha asked her.
"I-i-i wa-ss walk-walkiing w-with Ben and-and we got stopped".
"Ben?", Lowe asked.
"My boyfriend", Kiesha looked at him.
"Where was this goddamned boyfriend when ya was getting molested?!", Lowe yelled.
LaKiesha flinched and wrapped her arms around Tiesha tighter. The guy Lowe was talking to answered for her.
"He told her to wait that he wanted to pick something back at his apartment".
"Imma kill that nigga".
"He's a white guy", the guy added.
Lowe turned around to look at the guy then glared at Kiesha. He balled his hands into fists. He looked like he was going to kill her any second.

"Ya dating a white guy?".
"A WHITE GUY?!".
Kiesha hid her face in Tiesha's neck as she cried.
"Not now, Lijah", Tiesha said.
"Don't fucking call me that!", he snapped at her.
Tiesha frowned at him as she stood up and quickly took Kiesha away going to clean her up.
"Ya wanna explain why ya didn't get to her on time?!", Lowe yelled at the guy as Tiesha went into the room.
Kiesha refused to let go of her sister and also refused to eat. Motiesha just had to wrap her arms around Kiesha and let her sleep.
Lowe came in later and met them spooning.
"How's she?", he whispered to Tiesha.
"Still scared", he nodded and touched Kiesha's face gently.
"Twas two guys. They tore off her dress and underwear. One was fingering her and one was playing with her tits", Tiesha could see the veins in his forehead as he spoke.
She hugged her baby sister tighter.
"Did they catch the guys?".
"Yeah, I have em".
"You didn't kill them?", The older sister was surprised because she knew her cousin well.
"Nah, I got things far worse than killing for them. They put their dirty motherfucking hands on my little sister", he clenched his fist.
"She needs to go for checkup", Tiesha said.
He nodded.
"Tommorow", he said then left.
Then Tiesha heard something crash, she realized Lowe was drinking again. He always does that when he's very angry.
Throughout the night, Keisha couldn't sleep. She kept screaming in her sleep and closing her thighs. But Motiesha was there for her, holding her all night.
Motiesha cried. She cried for her sister. She felt like she hadn't done enough to care for her.
She hugged Kiesha's body as she cried silently, tears rolling down her face.
I've neglected her, I've neglected Lowe.
I've neglected my family for Ky'Mon.
The next day in the afternoon, the doctor came but Kiesha refused to let anyone touch her.
She shook her head when the doctor got close to her. Lowe sat down on the bed and she jumped in his arms.
"Go make some lunch, Imma stay with her".
Tiesha nodded and got out of bed walking into the kitchen. Minutes later, Lowe joined her.
"She's cool, sleeping. Doc said she shouldn't be alone and she need sleeping drugs. She need therapy or she gon depressed".
Motiesha nodded as she went back to frying the sausages. Lowe picked up a knife and started chopping the onions.
"Lowe?", she called.
"Hmmm?", he answered without looking up.
"I'm sorry".
"Cool".
Tiesha sighed and hugged him from behind.
"I'm sorry about the shitty things I've done. I was just stupid, I'm sorry for making you feel bad and all those harsh words I said. I swear i didn't mean them. I want you to know that you come before Ky'Mon and I'm happy you're in my life".
She heard him sniffling and she looked up to stare at the back of his head.
"Are you crying?".
"I ain't, it's them fucking onions!".
She giggled and he turned to look at her. "Ya promise to behave?".
She nodded and he hugged her.
"S'all good".
"I missed you", she hugged him.
"I missed ya too, mami".

Iron and Wood - A Tale Of Empire and Clans
For centuries, the Midlands had been split into fragments. A once glorious, united Empire has become a shadow of its former self. Unity has not returned, and not for the lack of trying. The greatest of these successor states were the Li Dynasty to the south, the rulers of old, and the Emerald Empire to the North, with its vibrant vitality. Unity is the end goal, and both will sacrifice anything to attain this elusive dream. For unity would surely solve the conflict that had long plagued this once prosperous continent. The Ironwood Clan was a prime player. Some would consider them the ones holding the reigns to the horse named 'Unification'. Iron and wood were the backbones of civilization; similarly, the Ironwoods were the backbones of the Northern Empire, and by extension, the people of the Midlands. Their methods, as questionable as they might be, had strengthened the North. Yet, were they enough? In the midst of it all, a young Ironwood who had lost his path must once again find his way. For the sake of his own wellbeing; for the sake of his clan; and for the sake of the Empire and its subjects. However, is he willing to sacrifice for the good of all? Is he willing to condemn some for the sake of others? Is he willing to make the right, albeit harsh, decisions? Only the heavens would know. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, events and incidents are the products of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Additionally, any views and beliefs expressed by the characters are not the author's own. The story is also not an endorsement of any actions taken within. The 'profanity' and 'sexual content' warning tags are there to be safe (and to leave room for potential future changes), but for now these two things are not inside this novel. This is my take on 'cultivation', though it might be somewhat disconnected from the general idea of the genre. Release schedule: Two chapters a week. The cover was created using wombo art. While I believe that creations using the app are in the public domain, if that is not the case, I will take it down.
