Sending some papers off there was a knock at my office door.
"Come in". I said leaning back into the seat and the door opened.
"I got the file on that girl you told me about". Vincent said walking over handing it to me.
"Good looks". I said and he nodded walking out closing the door behind him.
Opening the file I start to read over it and the shit in it wasn't too crazy. She's 21 and a junior in college majoring in child education.
I read more and I see her number and address at the end of the page. Picking up my phone I dial her number and put it on speaker.
"Hello". She said softly into the phone.
"Wassup this Krew". I said closing the manila folder.
"How did you get my number". She asked and her voice changed.
"Don't worry about that look I want to take you out to eat". I said and the line got quiet.
"I can't I have to stay with my father". She said sighing lowly but I heard her.
"He can come too what does he like to eat". I ask sitting up.
"He really likes southern food". She said and I nodded cause I had just the place to take them.
"Cool I'll be there in 25 get ready". I said before hanging up without giving her a chance to reply.
Putting her address into my gps I shut the computers down and stand up. Locking the door on my way out I walk to the front to see everybody working.
"You gone boss". One of my workers said making everybody look at me.
"Yeah". I said before walking out and getting in my car.
Starting the car I pull off towards her house.
Pulling up outside her house I cut the car off and get out making my way to the front door knocking.

"Hold on". I heard her yell on the other side of the door.
Stepping back I hear the locks turning before the door opened.
"Hey you can come in". She said walking away from the door.
Stepping inside I could see her dad on the couch refusing to put a shirt on.
"Daddy please just put it on". She said trying to put it over his head but her kept pushing her away.
"Let me try something". I said walking over and getting down to his height since he was sitting as she walked away to the back.
"Hey pops why you not putting the shirt on". I ask rubbing his hand.
"I want blue". He said and I nodded patting his hand before standing up and grabbing the white shirt.
Walking to the back I look in all the rooms till I found Sariah.
"So did you get him to put the shirt on". She asked with her back towards me.
"He don't want this color shirt he wants blue". I said tossing the shirt on her bed.
"Look in the dresser behind you in the first one and get the blue shirt". She said and I did want she said before walking out of the room and to the living room.
"Can I put this on you pops". I ask and he nods his head.
Just as I put it on Sariah came walking in.
"Ready to go". She asked and I nodded my head helping her dad up.
We all walk out and get into my car. I start it up and pull off towards the restaurant.
Parking the car we all get out and make our way inside.
"Hello boss". One of the waiters said as soon as we walked in.
"Boss". I heard Sariah say from behind me.

"I need a table for three". I said and he nodded grabbing menus before walking away and we followed him.
Taking a seat at the table he passed out the menus. We ordered our drinks a food before he walked away.
"So you own this place huh". Sariah asked causing me to look at her.
"Yeah it was actually my grandfathers but he passed away so I took over". I said and she nodded her head.
"What does your pops like to talk about". I ask looking over at him as he sat there quietly.
"The only way you'll get a full conversation out of him is if it's about math". She said with a small smile.
"Aye pops you heard about the Goldbach's Conjecture".I ask and his eyes lit up.
"Y-yes I've been t-trying to solve it for a long time". He said and then he started talking about his methods.
I'm not gone lie math was my favorite subject in school so I felt like me and her pops could connect through this.
After a while of talking the food came out and we started eating.
"Thank you". She said out of nowhere.
"For what". I ask looking at her confused.
"For including my dad and actually showing interest in him". She said causing me to shake my head.
"Nah it's cool he ain't no different for the rest of us". I said causing her to smile.
She looked down blushing and continued to eat.
I could really get used to this...

There is a place in the far off reaches of space. It is a lonely place in the barest portion at the edge of the universe. There are no stars or other planets for light-years. A region few have ever wanted to visit and fewer still actually have. If you were to visit you'd find and small rip in space-time leading to the most bizarre and out of place thing you have ever seen. A solar system consisting of five planets, all with life, all stuck in conflict, and all absolutely bursting with energy. For some it seems like a paradise. A land of sword and sorcery? Why would anyone pass that up? That was the thought process of the freshly dead boy. This boy, like many before him and many after him, was trying to find the bright side. Things had finally been going right for him, good grades, new friends, and best of all a girlfriend when the entire world ended. No huff, no puff, just poof the end. At least being reborn into this world would be fun. That definitely sounded like a bright side to most. Fracture, one of the five worlds in question, was massive and full of magic. It looked sounded and felt like it would be just another game, it even had prompts and levels. Piece of cake. Well that might be the case if Fracture was meant to be a paradise. The hottest fires forge the strongest swords. This fire has the habit of melting away oneself. A pixie clan searching for a new home, a boy who just lost his, a reality bending forest, and a bug that doesn't belong. All with an intense desire for power. Who will make it through the fire intact, and will they choose to be a hero, or will they join the long history of villains and monsters?

Wield the Forms. Define the Infinite. Gods err, and must break our world to save others. This is a story of one who survived, one who never should have, and those that travel with her. How these survivors endure a changed world, and are made to change with it. What they must do for power, and what is sacrificed to obtain it. The Forms are the key. All things are a Form, are fragments of higher Forms, and are comprised of lesser Forms. The Forms are all, and all Forms are connected - each a piece of creation. To survive, they will learn the Forms. To endure, the Forms will change then. To gain power - power beyond all mortal ken - they must Wield the Forms. Wield the Forms. Define the Infinite. This is a work in progress. Writing for this novel is currently performed during brief snatches of free time, mistakes are inevitable. I am more than happy to take advantage of free editing, so please, editorialize away; I'll take it all on board. I'll be going back to clean up chapters I've already published fairly regularly, and I'll do my best to let all of you readers know whenever that happens. Updates at least once a week, most likely on Tuesdays and/or Fridays.
