I sat in the visiting area with Kelis, waiting for them to bring East out. All I could think about was how I was going to tell East about Lola. I know that East is gonna be devastated. It might've seemed like he didn't care about his son in the beginning, but that wasn't the case. He was just mad at the fact that Lola was having his baby.
"Ugh, what's taking them so long?"
"It's pretty crowded today. Maybe that's why they're taking so long" Kelis said.
I sighed then dropped my head into my hands.
"Relax Gen. It's gonna be okay" Kelis said as she rubbed my back.
Stressed was an understatement for me.
Looking up, I seen East staring directly at me. By the look on his face, it was obvious that he knew something was wrong. That man knows how to read me like a book.
"What's wrong baby? Is baby girl okay? Is Kaiser okay?" East asked.
I sighed, "they're both fine. It's Lola."
"Kareem found her? Are her and the baby straight?" He asked.
"She..." I paused, taking a deep breath before speaking up again.
"She's dead. They found her body yesterday."
Confusion washed over East's face as he struggled to process what I told him.
"The baby?" East asked.
"She was still pregnant when they found her body. I'm sorry baby."
He bit down on his bottom lip, attempting to hold his tears back. "Who did it?" He asked.
"We don't know. They haven't found a suspect yet."
East sighed then ran his hands over his face. "My fucking son though? Really? This shit ain't fair" he said.
A single tear fell from my face as I watched East break down. I have never seen him this upset before. Losing a child brings out a different type of pain. I know there's nothing that I can do or say to make the pain go away. I would react the same way if I was in his position.

"I'm so sorry Jeremiah."
"I NEED TO GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE ASAP! I CAN'T LOSE ANYONE ELSE! FUCK!" East shouted as he punched the glass.
"What's going on over here?" A correctional officer asked.
"Ayo, mind yo fucking business nigga. I'm having a conversation with my family right now" East said.
"Jeremiah sto-"
"NAH, FUCK THAT! THESE NIGGAS THINK THEY RUN SHIT. I'LL FUCK AROUND AND KILL ONE OF THESE PUNK ASS NIGGAS" East shouted.
"Alright, visitation is over for you Wright. Let's go" the correctional officer grabbed East's arm, attempting to pull him up.
"THE FUCK OFF ME BITCH" East shouted as he snatched his arm away.
The guard smirked then put East in a headlock.
"STOP! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" I shouted as I watched East struggle to breathe.
"GET OFF OF HIM YOU FUCKING PIG" Kelis shouted as she banged on the glass.
I began to cry as I watched multiple officers drag East out of the visitation area. It was obvious that he wasn't in his right mind space, and that's dangerous for a person that's in jail.
"I don't know much, but I know that Jeremiah is safe. He'll be in solitary confinement for a week. No calls or visitation will be allowed while he's in there" Jonathan said.
Jonathan has a friend that works in the same jail where East is being held at, so we've been getting information from him.
"That's the best place for him right now. Jonathan, you and I both know how our son gets when he's not in his proper mind space. We wouldn't want him to hurt somebody and make his situation worse. He's safe and unharmed, so we have to be grateful for that" Yasmine said.
"You're right baby" Jonathan said.
Yasmine smiled then kissed Jonathan. "I'm gonna start dinner" she said.
Kareem waited for Yasmine to walk out of the room before speaking. "I need to find out who killed Lola. East made it clear that Lola was off limits because she was carrying his child. This shit is fucked up. Who would kill a pregnant woman?" Kareem asked.

"Somebody that's fighting hard to keep something hidden" Jonathan said.
"I agree. Something isn't right about this situation. None of it makes sense, and Jeremiah has BEEN saying that."
"We need to figure out what's going on. We need to bring Jeremiah back home" Jonathan said.
Everybody nodded in agreement.
"According to Lola's autopsy, she's been dead for four months already. That means she was killed right around the time that Jeremiah got arrested" Jonathan said.
"I can't think of anyone that would go against East's rules. What if Harmony was lying? She probably got scared and put the blame on Lola. Then she killed her to back her lie up" Kareem said.
"Or...she lied to protect Zander."
Kareem knitted his eyebrows in confusion. "What do you mean? You think Zander is in on it?" He asked.
"It makes sense. Zander is the one that pulled the trigger. He could have made a deal with the devil to save himself."
"I don't know Gen. Zander and Jeremiah have been friends for a very long time. Zander is like a brother to him" Jonathan said.
"And they said they found a murder weapon with East's fingerprints on it. I know he didn't kill Jayceon, but it's possible that he dropped his gun" Kareem said.
"I doubt that. Jeremiah is very careful" Jonathan said.
"Just think about it. Zander is NEVER around anymore. He only shows up to important events so that we won't get suspicious. The guilt is probably eating him up. I have a theory."
"Let's hear it" Jonathan said.
"What if there was no murder weapon? What if Zander planted the gun at the crime scene? Or what if he's working with someone from the LAPD? It's possible that Harmony lied on Lola to protect Zander. THEN Harmony or Zander killed Lola to keep their secret safe."
"It makes sense" Jonathan said as he nodded his head.
"It doesn't though. Why would Zander snitch on East? There's no reasoning behind it. We can't just act off of theories. We need REAL proof. Zander is family, and this is a serious ass accusation" Kareem said.
"It makes perfect sense Kareem. Zander probably snitched to save his own ass. Like I said, he could be working with someone on the inside."
"Like I said, we need PROOF. I'm not about to accuse a longtime friend of something as serious as this" Kareem said.
"Both of you have valid points, but I agree with Kareem. Zander is like a son to me, and I would hate to accuse him of something this serious with no proof. Kareem and I will watch Zander closely. In the meantime, you need to go home and get some rest. You're pregnant with my grandbaby, and I know this situation is taking a toll on you. I can't have anything happening to you or the baby" Jonathan said.
Getting rest was the LAST thing on my mind. Now that Lola is dead it's like my mind has been coming up with dozens of scenarios, and all of them include Harmony and Zander. The situation never made sense at first, but now it does. Something isn't right about those two. They're up to something, and I'm gonna find out what it is. There's no limits to the things that I'm willing to do to bring my other half home.

Immovable Mage
What do you call a mage incapable of casting spells? In this story, we usually call him Terry. When the boy is accepted into Arcana Academy, his talent in the pillars of mana foundation awes everyone. All the bigger is the eventual disappointment when Terry turns out to be an utter failure at spellwork. Diagnosis? Major aspect impairment. No cure. Ever. Faced with expulsion, Terry is blessed with the unexpected kindness of others. Terry loses his spot in the Academy but in exchange, he finds a home with a family. Terry starts to train as a pure mana cultivator but never stops looking for his own path as a mage – day after day, season after season, always searching for compatible spellwork… Until finally, Terry’s perseverance earns him a single spell – the only spell he will ever be able to cast. Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. Overview: 001–030 Arc 1, Cultivating Perseverance: complete. 031–060 Arc 2, Undying Defiance: complete. 061–090 Arc 3, Unyielding Fury: scheduled for publishing. 091–120 Arc 4, Savage Hope: scheduled for publishing. 121–150 Arc 5, Self-Made Fate: first draft in progress. 151–180 Arc 6, Heretic Style: sketching in progress. Further Arcs are still in the sketching and idea collection phase.

(DEMO) Colorless vol.1- Phantamoire Enigmata
This is a demo volume consisting only seven chapters. The sole reason of this publication is to show the world a glimpse of the project. Therefore, the final quality of the product will be lot more refined and polished. This demo might get deleted from RoyalRoad after the actual publication. Synopsis: "Knights wearing their shining armor serving righteous justice riding their glorious horses." We all have heard that story- Heroes who do the right in the purest way without any tampering. But, is it really that easy? Is the world and it's heroes really that pure? After all... fairytale is just a lie. I might be the first author in the world who despises writing. I haven't read any story books or novel in my entire life but children's story book (not even ten of them). So, why do I write? Simple answer- the story. Inexperienced I may be but I believe my project and it's quality. The actual story will be posted somewhere in 2019. The story will be devided into 7/8 volumes and 90 (approx.) chapters. I have been working on this project for 1 year now. It took me 5 months to finalize the concept and plot, 7 months for the story and it's already been 6 months in writing along with 2 times of total revamp.
