It's been two weeks since East told me about Jayceon's death. I feel no sympathy for Jayceon or anyone else that was involved with him. He deserved to die. I believe that people can change but not Jayceon. He was clearly still the same person that he was two years ago. People like him aren't capable of changing.

"You ready?" East asked as he walked into the bedroom.

I nodded then grabbed my Dior J'adore perfume, spraying some on my wrists and neck. I stood in front of the mirror, examining my outfit. I had on a sweater knit dress that clung to my curves, and a pair of clear sandal heels. My makeup was glamorous, yet natural, and my burnt orange hair complimented my skin tone perfectly.

"Damn, I look good" I mumbled.

"You look aight, now let's go" East said.

I smacked my lips then grabbed my Chanel clutch. "You know I look good. Stop being a hater." I mushed East's head then walked into the livingroom where Kaiser was.

"Awwwww, my baby looks so cute" I cooed.

East offered to get Kaiser ready while I got myself together. I can't even lie, he did his thing. I picked Kaiser up, placing him on my hip while I attacked his face with kisses.

"Thank you for getting him ready baby. I appreciate you."

"What I tell you?" East asked.

I laughed then rolled my eyes. East always tells me to stop thanking him. I just want him to know that I'm appreciative. He doesn't have to do a lot of things that he does for Kaiser and I. I'm forever grateful for him.

"You ready to go eat lil man?" East asked as he strapped Kaiser into his carseat.

Kaiser smiled and nodded excitedly.

"Lil greedy ass" East said.

"Don't do my baby like that."

East laughed then hopped into the driver's seat.

We walked into East's parents house, and the smell of Thanksgiving food immediately hitting our noses. The smell nearly had me drooling. I couldn't wait to make a plate or two...or three. I love eating, and that's why I'm gaining weight now.

"HEY Y'ALL!" Yasmine shoutedexcitedly.

She immediately picked Kaiser up, kissing his cheek repeatedly. I usually don't allow strangers to kiss Kaiser, but she gets a pass. East's mom is really sweet, and I knew that she was just excited to see Kaiser. I love how she treats Kaiser like one of her own.

"Hi Mrs. Wright" I said as I smiled.

"You look so nice Genesis. You are such a beautiful girl" she said.

"Tell her again mama" East said.

The three of us laughed then walked to the living room. Yesenia rolled her eyes then wobbled out of the living room when she seen us. I didn't care to speak to her anyways. She tried to get my man sent to prison, how can I fuck with her after that? I don't care for her and that's that.

"GANG IN THIS BITCH" somebody shouted.

Moments later the whole crew walked in. Zander, Kareem, Kelis, Sammy, and a little boy that I assumed was Zander's son. Yesenia walked back into the living room, and Sammy's eyes nearly popped out of her head. I started to wonder if Sammy knew Yesenia.

"Zander, stop doing all that God damn yelling in my house" Jonathan said.

Zander laughed, "my bad OG."

Yasmine hit Jonathan's arm then rolled her eyes. "Don't be mean to our guests honey. Who are these lovely young ladies?" she asked.

"I'm Kelis" Kelis said as she smiled.

"Yeah, that's Kareem's baby mama" Zander said.

Yasmine gasped, "baby mama? You two have a child together? When did this happen?"

Kareem mugged Zander then shifted his attention towards Yasmine. "We don't have a child yet, but we'll have one soon. Kelis is pregnant" he said.

"I am so happy for you two. I can't wait until East and Genesis have a baby" Yasmine said as she rubbed Kelis' stomach.

East and I looked at each other then shook our heads. We don't plan on having a baby anytime soon. I know we were risking it all two weeks ago, but I took a plan b the next day. Making a baby is not on my to-do list right now.

"I'm sorry baby, I got so distracted from that wonderful news. What's your name?" Yasmine asked as she looked at Sammy.

"I'm Samantha" she replied, extending her hand.

Yesenia wobbled over to us with an angry look on her face. "What are you doing at my family's house?" She asked Sammy.

"First of all, I was invited. I didn't even know that you knew East's family. You really think I wanna see you and that demon child in your stomach?" Sammy asked.

Yesenia lunged at Sammy, but Yasmine quickly pulled her back.

"What's going on? You two know each other?" I asked Sammy.

"This is the bitch that Travis cheated on me with" Sammy said.

"Call me one more bitch" Yesenia warned as she tried to get out of Yasmine's grip.

East was just watching and laughing with Kareem and Zander. Any other time he would be serious but not this time. He doesn't fuck with Yesenia, so he found the situation funny. Meanwhile, I was just standing there in shock. This is truly a small, yet big world.

"The fuck are you laughing at Zander? Do I need to call Harmony up here to put you in your place?" Yesenia asked.

Zander smacked his lips then waved her off. "I ain't with Harmony anymore. You sound dumb. Sam is my girl" he said as he wrapped his arm around Sammy.

Sammy looked at Zander with an uncertain look on her face.

"Oh really? Harmony and I have mutual friends. That's how I know you were eating her ass about two weeks ago. She spilled the tea on you Mr. Eatey Petey" Yesenia said as she smirked.

Sammy immediately pushed Zander away from her. "What the fuck is she talking about? You're still fucking with your baby mama?" She asked.

"Huh" Zander mumbled.

"If you can huh then you can hear nigga" Sammy said as she smacked Zander upside his head.

He sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "I'm not fucking with her. I told you that bitch almost got me killed. I'm still recovering from that shit" Zander said.

"What about before that? You were fucking that bitch while you were fucking me?" Sammy asked.

"Yup, he sure the fuck was. Just like Travis was fucking me while he was with you" Yesenia teased as she stuck her tongue out.

"Yesenia, stop" Yasmine warned.

"No, who the fuck does she think she is? Coming up in here like she's family. She had the nerve to call my baby a demon child, but she couldn't even give Travis a child. Her pussy ain't working right" Yesenia said as she laughed.

Sammy just stood there with a shocked expression. Yesenia bringing up her fertility issues was a low blow. I felt so bad for Sapphire, but I was also angry. Yesenia is an evil bitch.

Kelis sighed, taking her earrings off. "I really ain't wanna have to beat a pregnant woman's ass, but this bitch went too far," she said.

"Everybody just needs to relax! We're all adults here, so act like it. Yesenia, you need to stop running ya god damn mouth all the time" Jonathan said.

"I got one more thing to say before I leave. Yesenia, the only reason why Travis was with you was because I left him. You should thank me for that. Didn't he beat your ass a couple of times? Hmm, he never did that to me. Bitch, he hated yo ass and that baby. I got the text messages to prove it. He told me that he would kill you and the baby just to get me back. I talked him out of that crazy plan. You would've been a single mom if I didn't let him go. Oh wait...you STILL ended up being a single mom. God rest that man's soul" Sammy said.

Yesenia stood there with a stupid look on her face. Sammy smiled and wiped her tears away before walking out of the house. She literally got humiliated in front of everyone. First Zander and then Yesenia bringing up her fertility issues. This was supposed to be a fun family event, but it turned into a whole mess. I honestly didn't even wanna stay after that.

"I'll be back" I said to East.

I ran towards the front door, attempting to catch up to Sammy. Zander tried to follow me, but I immediately stopped him. He didn't deserve to say anything to Sammy. He would just make things worse.

"SAMMY! WAIT!" I shouted.

Sammy stopped walking then turned to face me. "I just need some alone time Gen. You know I love you, but I just can't do this right now" she said.

I nodded because I understood where she was coming from. "Text me when you get home. I love you" I said as I hugged her.

"I love you too" she said.

I watched Sammy get into her car then drive off.

When I walked back into the house everybody was sitting at the table waiting for me. I took a seat next to East and Kaiser. East kissed my cheek then asked me if I was okay. He could tell that I was uncomfortable. Lord knows that I didn't wanna sit at the table and eat with an opp ass bitch. I'm sure everybody else felt the same way too. This was probably one of the worst Thanksgiving dinners that I've ever attended.
