I knocked on Zander's door a few times then waited for an answer. I was surprised when his baby mama answered the door, practically naked. That ain't none of my business though. My only concern is talking to Zander about this Jayceon situation.
"Hey East, long time no see" Harmony said.
"Wassup Harmony" I said as I nodded my head.
"UNCLE EAST" Ezra, Zander's son shouted.
"Wassup nephew, you getting big."
I picked him up, tossing him in the air a few times while he laughed.
"Aye, don't drop my son nigga" Zander said as he walked into the living room.
I smacked my lips, "shut yo ass up. I got him."
"Yeah, shut up daddy" Ezra said.
"I'll beat yo lil ass" Zander said.
"Uh-uh, you ain't beating nothing" Harmony said as she rolled her eyes.
"Shut yo ugly ass up, and go put some fucking clothes on cuz. Nobody wanna see yo high yella ass" Zander said as he mushed Harmony's head.
"Put yo nasty ass hands on me again" Harmony warned.
Zander waved her off. "Come on East."
I put Ezra down then followed Zander to his backyard.
"What's going on bro?" Zander asked.
"You know a nigga named Jayceon?"
Zander shrugged, "sounds familiar. Why wassup?"
"He's Kaiser's father. He was mad abusive towards Gen, and now he's trying to be in Kaiser's life. He kidnapped her in broad daylight. That nigga only let her go because she agreed to let him be in Kaiser's life. I want him gone ASAP."
"Shit, sounds like fun to me. I'm down cuz" Zander said.
"I don't know how I'm gonna do this shit yet. My dad sent a few possible locations that he could be at. Ima check that shit out then go from there."
"Fuck that shit. We need to hit them niggas NOW! As soon as we find his whereabouts" Zander said.

I looked at Zander like he was stupid. "You sound stupid and reckless. This ain't one of those licks that you used to hit back in the day. This shit is important to me. If you ain't gonna take it seriously then get the fuck out my face nigga."
"Woah, calm down Jamal. Don't pull out the nine" Zander said as he laughed.
I shook my head, "you play too fucking much. That's your problem."
"Shut yo bologna head ass up. I know how to be serious" Zander said.
"Aight, well I need you to be serious right now then. This ain't play play."
Zander waved me off. "Did you call Kareem yet?"
"I'm meeting up with him tomorrow. He had something important to do today."
"Okay cool, so we'll split those addresses up to get shit done quicker" Zander said.
"Why would we split up? That's risky bro."
"We're just scoping out different locations. As long as we stay lowkey we'll be aight" Zander said.
I nodded, "heard you. We'll start knocking those addresses out tomorrow."
Zander nodded then took a sip of his beer. I swear everytime I see this nigga he's either drinking patron or beer, fucking alcoholic.
"Here's your food hoe" Harmony said as she walked into the backyard, handing Zander a plate of food.
She opened her robe a little, exposing her curves. "You want some East?" She asked as she bit her lip.
I laughed, "I'm good shorty."
If she was my baby mama I would've knocked her head between the washer and dryer.
"She a lil hoe, on crip" Zander said as he shook his head.
I laughed then shook my head. "Chill out nigga. That's your baby moms."
"I don't give a damn. That bitch a hoe" Zander said.
"You crazy as hell cuz. I gotta head out though. Meet me at my house around noon tomorrow."

Zander nodded then dapped me up.
East quietly got into the bed with Genesis. He wasn't supposed to see her and Kaiser until next week, but he couldn't help himself. He wrapped his arms around Genesis causing her to stir in her sleep. Truth is, he missed being around Genesis and Kaiser everyday. He didn't like being away from them.
"Jeremiah" Genesis mumbled.
"Wassup ma" East said as he trailed kisses down her neck.
Genesis smiled then turned to face him. "What are you doing here? I thought you weren't coming until next week."
"I know" East said.
"You missed me?" Genesis asked as she smirked.
"Nah, I just wanted some pussy" East joked.
Genesis laughed then rolled her eyes playfully. "Well, you ain't getting any."
East smacked his lips, slapping Genesis' ass roughly.
"Ouch" Genesis pouted.
East kissed her cheek as he rubbed the pain away. "That shit heavy."
Genesis laughed, "period pooh."
"I need to talk to you about something though" East said.
Genesis' smile instantly faded because she thought that it was something bad. With everything that's going on right now, she didn't know what to expect.
"What now?" Genesis asked in a worried tone.
"It's nothing bad. It's just something that I been thinking about lately" East said.
Genesis let out a sigh of relief. "What is it? Talk to me" she said as she sat up.
"I want you and Kaiser to stay with me" East said.
"What do you mean? We've already been staying with you" Genesis said.
"Nah, I mean permanently" East said.
Genesis' eyes widened, "are you being serious? Or are you playing?"
East looked at her with the most serious face ever. "Does it look like I'm playing with yo ass?"
"Oop, okay then rude ass" Genesis said.
"My bad, this shit is just important to me. I want all of us to live together" East said.
Genesis sighed, "I don't know Jeremiah. We JUST started dating, and we haven't known each other that long. I just don't think I'm ready for that yet. Moving in with somebody is super serious."
"You think I don't know that? You and Kaiser are my family now. I love that lil nigga like he's mine, and I love you. I don't give a fuck about time. I give a fuck about the way you make me feel. I've fucked with a lot of women, but they can't compare to you. You came into my life and made me feel something I've never felt before. I'm vulnerable as fuck with you Gen" East said.
Genesis couldn't stop herself from blushing. She loves when East pours his heart out to her. He's such a hardbody person, but he's soft with Genesis. She brings out a different side of him.
"You love me?" Genesis asked as she smiled.
"You heard what I said" East said.
Genesis laughed, "I love you too. I'm just scared. You're so perfect to me, and that really scares me. I used to think that Jayceon was perfect too, and he ended up being a terrible person. I don't trust myself anymore. I don't trust my heart."
"I'm not him though. You can trust yourself when it comes to me. Everything is genuine on my end" East said.
Genesis started thinking about everything that East said. She doesn't know if moving in with East is the right decision for her and Kaiser. Their relationship is still new, and she feels like they still have a lot to learn about each other. Genesis obviously has a lot of thinking to do.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
