《AMOUR》Epilogue.

5 years later
Everything went perfectly. From the rehearsal dinner yesterday to the Wedding in the morning and now reception. Everything was just like we wanted.
It was just our squad left. Everyone was here. All our parents had taken leave and called it a night about half an hour ago. I think it was around 2 in the night currently.
The reception had taken place in the open lawn of Swan-e-set in Pitt Meadows. It's the most gorgeous resort I've ever seen. The theme had been lavender and white for the decoration and it was beautiful. There were hints of gold in between to match the spring vibe we had going on.
I was sitting at one of the round tables near the dance floor. My eyes on my feet, suddenly realizing that these heels were killing me.
"You look like you could use a drink," I hear him say and look up to see Jordan with two glasses of whiskey in his hand.
"Or five," I smile as he hands me the one with Ice and I sniff it first, closing my eyes as the scent of Hennessy hits me.
Some things never change.
He takes the chair next to me. His suit jacket discarded god knows where in today's event. The sleeves of his crisp white shirt rolled up and the first few buttons open. His navy blue pants holding some creases here and there and his hair messy.
"Admiring?" He makes my eyes shift to his and I hum, not denying anything.
I take a sip from my glass and then lick my lips, still looking at him as his eyes darken and I smirk.
I turn my head to the dance floor to see Anna and Ian looking our way from where they were dancing. Knowing looks on their faces that I have no idea about.
"Why are they looking at us like that?" I ask Jordan, he follows my line of sight and sighs.
"I don't know, ask them," he shrugs and I shrug back.
Ian and Anna break apart and step towards us, hand in hand. Ian looking the same as Jordan just with the difference of his suit being black. Anna looking like a goddess in her sparkly silver jeweled wedding dress. Her hair gorgeously messy from the style they were in before.
"Why didn't you get up for the bouquet toss tradition?" Anna asks as she steps in front of us along with Ian.
"I was eating the most delicious cheesecake Mrs. Saunders?" I answer back, more so in a question and Ian and Jordan chuckle at my answer while Anna shakes her head but her smile is still there.
"I'm back, here," Denver finally comes back from the room and leans down. His suit matching Jordan's and his suit jacket discarded too. He does have his tie loosened instead of thrown away though.
I look down to see him holding my flats and smile at the gesture.
"But you went to the washroom?" I ask as he slips one of my heels off after the other.
"Yeah and then I thought how you're wearing these since morning, so I got your backup," he explains. My heart melts if that was even possible anymore.
"Aww, Ian, learn some tips for the married life please," Anna pats Ian and he scoffs.

"They aren't married," Ian retorts.
"They look like they are," Anna deadpans.
It's true though. After our college, I finished makeup and started working with the student films as a makeup artist while still working at the cafe and then got into actual movies too. Vancouver's film industry is huge so it wasn't that difficult. But I still work at the cafe and go do whatever gigs I find on other days.
Jordan now fully handles his dad's branch situated here and Denver surprisingly took over his family business, giving Dave the freedom to do what he wants. So Dave got into real estate. Yeah.
Ian and Anna both started their own financial business and are doing pretty good. They did face some problems in the beginning but our parents helped out.
Me, Jordan and Denver have our own penthouse that was originally supposed to be Dave's if he took over the business but got handed to Denver instead. Dave was happy with the original home he lives in but is usually found in our place whenever possible. While Ian and Anna bought a home in Whiterock recently before getting married.
I smile at how adulting shaped us up but we're still the same. We told about our relationship to our friends. They all had different reactions but they were eventually happy for us and still are. The parents still don't know anything yet and it's safer for now.
Every weekend we used to meet at Dave's place which will now change to Ian's since he's closer to the beach. The rest of our squad will be heading back to their respective provinces after three days, along with our parents and we're going to do whatever we can in these three days.
"Come on Roya, dance with me," Jennifer joins the circle and pulls me by my arm as I follow her comfortably in my flats. Her baby blue knee length dress matching the color of my full length one.
"No one's dancing, and there's no music," I tell her as I notice the DJ packing up. Well we did tell them that we'd be out by 1 am.
I was about to turn back and have a seat with everyone again but Anna steps besides me, meeting Jennifer's eyes. They communicate for a second before turning back to me.
"Actually, I just wanted some girl talk," Jennifer explains.
"About?" I ask, looking at Anna to know if she knows anything but she only shrugs in return.
"Yeah, the thing is.." Jennifer starts, her eyes shifting between me and something behind me.
"Are you pregnant?" Anna blurts and I laugh lightly at the horrified expression Jen makes.
"What?! No!" Jen shakes her head.
"You can tell us, come on, spill," I encourage her, noticing her fidgeting.
Jen smiles at me, a real smile and her eyes meet something behind me, making her smile widen. I don't let it go anymore, turning around to see what it is that she keeps looking at.
When I take in the scene behind me. I literally feel my heart stop. For a minute, it feels like I'm dreaming and will wake up to my alarm anytime only to find out that Anna and Ian haven't even gotten married yet, that the day has just begun.

But this is real. Very fucking real.
Anna pushes me forward and I take one step. I can hear Anna and Jen's internal squealing in my mind as I take in everything.
There, in front of me on the dance floor, are Jordan and Denver, kneeling, with a box of ring in both of their right hands.
My hand flies to cover my mouth, my eyes wide as reality sinks in.
They're proposing.
A gorgeous grin spreads on both of their faces.
Jordan speaks up first, "Roya fucking Anderson," he starts and I choke out a chuckle.
"That's not my middle name," I say, as my hand moves down and I step closer to them both.
"We know you don't have one," Denver shrugs.
Jordan clears his throat and starts again, making me smile, "Roya Anderson, you make us so fucking happy that I don't think I've ever had a bad day in these past five years."
"Except that one time she locked you out of the house," Denver adds and I hear laughs around me while I look at Jordan with a smug smile.
A low groan leaves Jordan's mouth and he turns his head to look at Denver on his left, "this is your speech too you know, a little less interruption would be appreciated," he says, his eyes hard.
I clear my throat to get them back in the current situation.
"Right, Roya," Denver starts, "we love you like you love cooking for other people," he says and my face softens, my heart beating so fast.
"We love you like you love your mixed up playlists that we can't seem to get enough of," Jordan adds.
"We love you like you love the sky," Denver takes hold of my left hand.
"Like you love cuddling," Jordan takes my right hand.
"Like you love us," My eyes shift to Denver again at his words.
"But most of all, we love you more than that, more than we can put into words, more than we can measure," Jordan says, his tone so soft.
"We've been together for five years, and we know we want our forever with you," Denver says with so much truth and love in his voice.
"Marry us, Roya," Jordan speaks, "be our forever," they both smile lightly.
I can feel my eyes tearing up.
"Yes," I mouth.
"Yes," I whisper this time, getting my voice back.
"Yes, yes, yes," I speak clearer, nodding at them as big smiles take over their faces.
Jordan picks out his ring from the box which are two thin silver rings at a distance, he then takes Denver's ring which is an average sized band covered in diamonds and fits it in between his. Making it a single ring, he hands it over to Denver who's holding my left hand.
Denver slides the ring on my finger and kisses my hand, looking at me.
"We love you," he almost whispers and I nod, "I love you guys," I say, a tear rolling down my cheek.
They both stand up on their feet and Jordan wipes the tear away, engulfing me in his arms as Denver doesn't leave his hold on my hand.
A throat clears from my right and we turn to look at all our friends around us, the guys smiling as Anna and Jen wipe their eyes.
"Please tell me someone made a video," Jen almost whines making Ian chuckle.
"Right here!" we hear from our other side and turn to see Dave holding his camera. I smile at him and he smiles back.
"What are we waiting for? Group hug!" Anna commands and everyone closes in, patting whoever's shoulder possible.
After a moment we all step back and I stay leaning over Denver and Jordan on my sides.
"Roya, please tell me they aren't still the idiots they were five years ago?" Ian pleads with a teasing look in his eyes as I turn to look at Jordan and Denver looking at me in confusion.
I laugh and turn to face Ian in front of us, "They're still the same idiots."
"What did we do?" Denver asks.
"You wanna tell them?" Ian raises a brow at me and I nod, turning around.
"Remember when Ian found out about us in Toronto?" I ask and they nod their heads vigorously.
"And we both talked it out in five minutes at the park and came back laughing?" I ask again and they keep nodding, now curious.
"Well we were laughing because Ian asked me if you guys had asked me to be your girlfriend yet and I said no so he said that you guys are so stupid that you probably won't even remember asking me that," I explain.
"So yes, you guys never really asked me to be your girlfriend," I want to laugh but I'm trying my best to control.
They both just stand there, their mouths formed in an 'o'.
"So.. we- I- uh.." Denver fails to make sense.
"We never.." Jordan tilts his head and I shake my head, smiling.
"God we're dumb," Jordan groans and rubs his hand over his face.
"Mhm," I nod my head at them, amused.
Denver turns to look at Jordan with a small smile on his face, "Well, shit."
"Yeah," Jordan chuckles, "shit."
"Well now she has a higher title," Anna interrupts and we all finally decide to head up to our rooms and rest. The three of us reach our room, Denver entering last as Jordan takes off his shoes as soon as possible.
"What did we call you in front of others?" Denver asks as he rubs my arms.
"Yours," I tell him and his eyes shine.
"You are ours," he leans forward and kisses me with so much softness. His lips molding with mine as his hands roam in my hair, messing them up.
"All ours," I hear Jordan from behind me as I feel his hands unzipping my dress.
Damn right.

The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.
