"Colby, this... it's defintiely too hard to debunk this, but why is Jen contacting you? What could possibly be holding her here?" he asked confused, as we sat there trying to regroup.

"The ring dude, I told you this," I said softly, running my hand thru my hair.

"I meant why didn't she move on?" he rephrased, tears in his eyes as well. Jen and his girlfriend Katrina were very good friends, and he was hurt when we lost her too.

"I don't know, maybe because she was murdered?" I suggested trying not to sound annoyed at his question.

"Okay, dude I am so sorry, I didn't mean it like that," he said putting his hands up.

"I know, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to lash out," I said, softly.

"Bro, it's fine, I get it," he said patting my back, "Shall we continue?" I nodded offering my hand to him for the headset.

"Yeah, my turn," I smiled, as he set it in my hand. I got comfortable sitting on the floor, Sam helped me get my blindfold and headset on.

"Alright J, if this is you, help us help you," I said softly, as we began. I tried to focus on the static and just began to let words come out as sam asked his questions. Again, I couldn't hear him.

"Murder. Help. Colby. Stuck. Sadness." I said the first couple of minutes. She was merely confirming what we were discussing before. I was waiting for more words.

"Miss you," I said softly after I heard it clear as day thru the headset.

"Danger. Stuck. Live. Continue." I said hearing each word a few minutes apart. After that last one, sam tapped me on the shoulder.

"Even without hearing your questions, those words made sense. She was confirming everything we thought and said outside," I said, smiling at Sam. He shook his head.

"No, they weren't about her, they were about you...." he said. I chuckled and shook my head. He sighed and took the camera we'd done the video on and went back to where he began asking questions.

"What happened to you?" Sam asked, clearly having a tone of I already know this but tell us anyway.

"Murder," I said hearing it in my headset.

"What can we do for you?" he asked, gently, ruffling his hair a bit.

"Help," I said calmly. He nodded and sat down on the floor across from me.

"Help who? help you?" he asked.

"Colby!" I said with a smile. He blew some air out of his mouth in frustration.

"Why does Colby need help?" he asked, a bit more forcefully.

"Stuck," I said.

"How is he stuck? " Sam asked clearly confused.

"Sadness," I said, rubbing my knee.

"We all are, do you know what can he do to feel better?" he asked, reaching to touch my knee and then changing his mind last second.

"Release," I said with a bit of confusion in my voice.

"What do you want to tell him to help him release?" he asked gently, his eyebrows furrowing with sadness.

"Miss you," I said with a smile and I began a gentle rocking back and forth. It happens sometimes when I am super focused.

"He misses you too J, that is why he is sad," Sam said.

"Danger," I blurted out, making Sam's eyes widen in surprise.

"Danger? for what?" he asked anxiously.

"Stuck," I said, my hands tensing on video.

"Danger of being stuck? Stuck from doing what?" he asked, shaking his head in pure confusion.

"Live," I whispered just loud enough to be caught on video.

"Stuck from living? what do you expect him to do?" Sam asked tears in his voice, as he wiped his eyes.

"Continue," I said simply again no hesitation. That's when sam tapped me on the shoulder.

He turned the video off and went back to the main screen to be able to get back to recording.

"She's worried about you, she wants you to not be lost...." he said gently.

"She wants me to move on? release her? It's been six months, I'm still grieving, why would she want me to just let go of her?!" I asked confused. It didn't make sense. I used to always tell her I'd love her even after we were old and dead. It's why I wanted to marry her because I knew love and life didn't mean a thing without her near me.

"She's worried you won't ever move on or continue with your life Colbs," Sam said, rubbing my back, "Even in death she's putting you first...."

"I know that, she's always been that way, but right now I just need her. I don't want anything else!" I said and began speaking to the ceiling.

"I just want you J, I need you back! I can't and won't move on, I refuse. No one will ever compare to you, and you think I can move on after six months?!?! That just makes me think I didn't prove to you in life how much you meant to me," I said tears streaming down my face and sobbing.

Of course, there was no verbal response but our flashlights and all our devices began going crazy at the same time. And then in a second a stray board from against the wall seemed to just FLING itself onto the floor. It didn't fall it was like it was shoved or pushed. It made both Sam and I jump and stand to our feet.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry, I take it back," I said, making sam smile. He patted me on the back as everything quit flashing, quit making noise, and calmed down.

"Even in death she has you whipped," he laughed. I rubbed the back of my neck.

"Because she still holds my heart, and she will for a long time, I am not ready to move on, but I am sure in time I will heal, just not yet," I said, picking up our things to be able to take it down to the other room.

"Maybe she's worried you'll get depressed and wanna join her," he said nervously.

"I won't lie and say I didn't think about it," I admitted honestly. This comment made Sam's eyes go wide and the flashlights began to flicker.

"Just the first couple of months. The pain was almost too much to bear," I said, getting the book bag of supplies zipped up.

"Is that why you decided on counseling?" he asked, taking the bag from me. I stuffed my hands in my pockets and shrugged.

"Yes because I didn't want my family and you guys to feel the way I was feeling if I left everyone behind...." I said, "I knew I needed to get help."

"I'm so glad man, we've been best friends since elementary school. I'd be a mess without you," he said hugging me.

"I know Sam, I'm sorry man..." I said. We headed down to this new area and we had a few things that tried to communicate. After asking Jen to let someone else speak there wasn't much activity. So we chalked up night two as a win personally, but a loss for the youtube channel. I told Sam it was fine to edit and post it for the channel, but he said to think about it.

He stated I may not want my personal shit on youtube, we were so out there already, that I deserved some privacy. He said especially when it came to Jen, her death, and my recovery. I guess I understood. It was a good thing to think about while he edited. Then I could decide if I wanted part two to be posted.

All I wanted to do now was get home to my bed and catch some sleep. But my dreams had other plans.
