"Colby! Colby!" Sam said rushing outside to fall to his knees beside me. I just let myself sink into his side sobbing into his chest.

"I can't man, I can't believe what I am seeing, and hearing...." I cried, not caring if I looked like a toddler hugging their parent after a scraped knee.

"What did you see?" he asked pulling back a bit to look at me.

"A shadow, but I heard Jennifer's voice again, but this time in the wind, not the Estes headphones," I whimpered wiping my eyes.

"How could it be Jen? she's gone man," he said sympathetically rubbing my back.

"I know that man, but this started now? Only a few days after getting this back?" I asked, pulling her ring out from under my sweater again.

"Colby, the ghosts we deal with aren't connected to us... they never are someone we know!" He said, "why would she do this if it was her? She wouldn't torture you... It has to be something else! They're fucking with you man!"

"I can't believe something can copy voices so easily... it's like I could smell her perfume man," I choked out.

"Do you wanna stop?" He asked, gripping my shoulder in his hand.

"I just need a break...." I said softly, "I can't let this go till I get answers!"

"I got you, man, I promise, take all the time you need... But no more headset for you!" He said firmly, helping me up off the ground. My new jeans were destroyed but this was gonna be worth it. I had to get some answers.

Once I took five minutes to prepare I made sure Jen's ring was outside my hoodie sweater and we headed back inside. We started with the REM Pods again.

"I'm sorry we left... I got a bit overwhelmed," I said once we were standing around it again.

"If you're still here can you come to touch our little red light here?" Sam asked gently. I felt a bit nervous but the light lit up again for a second and one of our flashlights turned on.

"If you're a friendly being can you turn that flashlight off?" I asked, "3, 2, 1." On cue, it turned off.

"Did you follow Colby here?" Sam asked. Nothing went off. He glanced at me and nodded. I took hold of Jen's ring in my fist.

"are you attached to an object?" I asked softly. The pod lit itself back up.

"If you want to be freed can you light up one of our flashlights?" Sam asked. Nothing turned on even after waiting a minute or so in silence.

"Do you have unfinished business?" I asked softly. Immediately both lights turned on.

"Do you want me to put the headset back on?" Sam asked.

"Colby," the speaker box spoke out making me jump.

"I'm not going to do that is it okay if Sam does? If so can you turn the flashlights back off?" I asked. Immediately both lights turned off. Sam nodded,

"Okay, I'll put the headset back on, and then we can talk to you..." Sam said and took a seat. It was quiet no lights were on, and nothing was responding. Once he got settled I got him blindfolded and the headset on.

"Colby," he said almost immediately after I stood up from fixing his headphones.

"Do you know me?" I asked, In a gentle whisper.

"Yes. Mine." He said gripping the chair he was sitting in.

"We're you mine?" I asked feeling my tears already.

"No, you.." he said holding the headphones on his head a bit tighter.

"Was I yours?" I rephrased.

"Always," he said gently, then said another word, "forever."

"Forever trapped?" I asked wanting to get to the root of it all.

"Forever yours..." he said gently.

"Done now," he said before he reached to remove the headphones. I stopped him and went to ask another question.

"Jennifer?" I asked gently. No response. Nothing, no answer. I tapped his shoulder and he took the headphones off.

"Why did you stop me?" he asked, confused.

"I needed one more answer before you took them off but I think they left...." I said, softly, my tears still welling up in my eyes.

"What question?" he asked, gently, seeing the pain in my eyes.

"Asking if it was Jennifer, to confirm what I was thinking, no answer," I said., wiping my eyes. I wanted an answer and it just left. I didn't know whether to be hurt or pissed!

"I'm sorry dude, we tried, but this may be confirmation that it's something messing with you... the voice wasn't hers this time, just the box sounds..." he said gently.

"I agree... something is playing games! We got decent evidence but if it's gonna play games I don't-" I began till we heard a door slam from above us. We both froze for a second.

"Did you hear that?" I asked looking around my eyes widening.

"I did," he whispered nodding.

"Did that come from upstairs?" I asked, nodding to the ceiling above us.

"Yes, that's what I heard... just a door, like slamming almost. That was loud!!" he said, "Should we go check it out?"

"Yea let's go take a look," I agreed and gestured to the stairs in the hallway. We headed that way, him going first up a couple of half flights of stairs to the building's storage area.

"There's no doors up here dude! What the fuck?!?!" he asked in shock. It was all fully open, even the rooms they had up there had no doors in them.

"Then what was that banging? Where the hell did it come from?" I asked, in shock. We were checking every room, not a single room had a door, just a few windows, but most of them were sealed shut... nothing looked like it had fallen over. Everything seemed to be in place.

"It makes no sense! We heard it, clear as day...." he said confused ruffling his hair a bit. We sighed and headed for the stairs to go back down. Once we reached the bottom of the stairs I heard it again, but softer this time. I went to turn around to look only to see a paint can rolling across the floor towards us then it slipped on the first step. Then in the distance just barely over the sound of the paint can bouncing down the stairs I swear I heard a scream, but distant almost as if it was outside on the lawn or parking lot.

"Whoa! Holy shit! Did you hear that?" I asked in shock, as Sam was focused on the paint can. We weren't sure if we bumped it or what happened with that but it was very clear there was something there if we both heard that scream.

"The scream?" I asked, shining my flashlight up the stairs.

"Yeah, that was a girl, should we go check?" he asked. I nodded and we went to peek out the exit door at the bottom of the stairwell. I think we were both a bit relieved to see a group of people drunk walking outside, one girl being tossed over a guy's shoulder. So clearly that was a sound from the outside. We headed back to the front of the building to exit and do our last interview with our cameras.

"Well guys, we had a few things happen tonight we couldn't explain," I said, my arms wide and inviting to the camera.

"And some we could, but I think this closes the book on the Dead Factory Night One, if we get three hundred thousand likes we'll come back later this year and go into some rooms alone, maybe one upstairs one in that swamp room they say is super haunted, bring our friend Amanda with us. But for now you guys we're gonna get some food and some sleep! And we'll see you guys back here for Night Two to continue our investigation!" Sam said.

"Don't forget to check out the XplrClub and subscribe to the channel! Peace Out!" I said and we moved our hands to the camera to end it. It was an insane night, but I at least had peace it wasnt Jennifer, Whatever it was, was fucking with my head. We definitely had a trickster on our hands.
