《His light in the dark [bxb]》Chapter - 10

Raya was silently stirring the soup in front of him, his thoughts everywhere but where he was and what he was doing. The long conversation he had with Lixian that morning still lingering in his mind.
Sudden, warm hands placed themselves on the human's hips, soft lips brushing his ear as hot breath fanned across his skin, causing goosebumps to litter his body immediately. Raya hummed, the arms of the demon wrapping themselves around his waist, pulling the older closer against his chest. "It smells amazing." Lixian mumbled softly, nipping the earlobe of Raya teasingly as his thighs squeezed the human's hips from behind and that were trapped between them.
Raya smiled. "Don't distract me, mister. I'm close to hot, boiling water."
Lixian rumbled that weird, low sound he showed off more often now. Nuzzling his nose against Raya's cheek. "I'm not doing anything."
Raya put the spoon down and turned his head around, his eyes finding mischievous ones already staring back down at him. He chuckled again when the demon booped his nose with his, giving him an eskimo kiss.
"How about you warm up the water outside and when you come back, we eat dinner and have a nice shower together. Hm?"
Lixian softly bit down on his mark at that, giving Raya a shock wave of tingles shoot down his spine. He gasped, gripping the elbow of the demon to steady himself at the sudden pleasure. "Alright." Lixian lowly mumbled, kissing Raya's cheek gently before he stood up and left. As if he didn't just give the human a hard on by biting him.
Raya irritatedly grumbled under his breath as he added some more salt in there, tasting it again to see if it was good. He was about to poor the hot soup into the two bowls in front of him before a sudden knock on the door made him stop in his tracks.
He frowned, not remembering the last time he had visitors, but made his way over anyway. He opened the door and peeked through the slit to see a man he didn't recognise standing before him. He opened the door a little wider to properly welcome him. "H-hello?"

"Hi." The man smiled, his blue eyes glinstering in the sunlight that peeked through the branches of the forest.
Raya felt a little uncomfortable when those blue eyes looked him up and down, as if he was analyzing him. He cleared his throat to get the man's attention again. "W-who are you?"
"Oh, right." The man said, that smile back on his face again. "I forgot to introduce myself, didn't I? I'm Torin, I was hunting in these woods before I... kind of got lost." He chuckled sheepishly.
Raya quirked his eyebrow, not really believing this man's words. I mean, which hunter got lost in a forest? No hunter he knew, that's for sure.
"So when I saw this cabin, I hoped someone was home to point me into the right direction." He explained, those dark eyes peeking behind Raya inside.
"Right." Raya mumbled, going with the story for now. "If you walk north, you'll find your way back to the village."
The man smiled wider, Raya's eyes flickering towards the blade on the man's hip, the sharp weapon dangling on his belt as he moved. "Thank you, eh...—"
"Raya."
"Raya." He smiled, though his smile slightly wavered as Raya could feel Lixian's presence behind him now.
"Oh, I didn't know someone else was here." The man mumbled, his hand now resting on his hip, closer to that shiny blade.
"Yes, well if you would excuse us, we were just about to eat dinner. Have a good day."
Before Lixian could even shut the door, a hand kept it from closing. Raya frowned, slightly unsettled as he leaned into the side of the demon. Lixian wasn't happy with the intruder, feeling his demon crawl forward at the sight of his uncomfortable mate.
"I'm sorry." The man smiled, though it didn't really reached his eyes. "I just happen to be out of food and it's close to dark...—"
"We don't do that, now back off." Lixian grumbled, knowing where this was going.

The man's smile slowly faltered at that and removed his hand, his face morphing into a somewhat scary frown. "Be safe." Raya quickly mumbled as Lixian shut the door in his face, the demon not caring at all.
Raya looked sideways at the younger, noticing his eyes flashing red and frowned in concern. "Hey, you alright?"
Lixian nodded, leading the human away from the door, away from where that man had been. "I just didn't trust him." He mumbled, pulling him in front of the fireplace.
Raya followed him and sat down beside him, glancing down into the pan with soup. "Yeah, I didn't really like him either." He confessed, stirring the boiling water again so they could finally eat.
Lixian hummed and pulled the human against his side by wrapping his arm around his waist. Raya smiled and poured the both of them a cup of delicious vegetable soup. Talking about everything and anything as they ate.

After eating and cleaning the dishes, the two lovers decided to take that promised shower. The water had cooled down a little, a fact that didn't matter as Lixian warmed it up in no time with that firebending of his. Something that Raya still wasn't used to.
The demon stripped down, his naked chest causing the human to flush red as he nervously pulled at the end of his shirt. His shy eyes looking up through his long lashes to peek a glance again. Lixian's face softened at seeing his mate shying away, smiling playfully. "Are you not changing?"
Raya turned red as the confident demon started to unbutton the buttons on his pants, eyes lurking at him in a playful way. "J-just a little nervous." The older stuttered, struggling to change in front of this beautiful creature. He had never been intimate with anyone before.
"It's just me." The demon smirked, now kicking his pants aside. Leaving him in just his naked glory.
Raya yelped a shamelessly high squeak as the demon suddenly stepped closer, softly grabbing the ends of his shirt. "Can I?"
Raya turned even redder if that was possible and nodded, shyly looking anywhere but those dark orbs staring down at him as he lifted his arms. Lixian pulled the shirt off of his body with one swift movement, hanging it over the edge of the shower fence with his. His warm fingers tracing down Raya's torso as he took in his human.
His mate, Lixian thought lovingly, enjoying the feel of his soft skin. He licked his lips when he noticed the muscles of the human's abs flex underneath his touch and softly grabbed his hips to lock eyes again. Raya smiled up at him, his heart nervously fluttering in his chest at the sight of the demon's bright smile. "You ok?"
Raya nodded, though his legs felt like mush as those big hands slid up and down his sides. "Need help with your pants too?" The demon asked playfully, earning a little shove of his mate.
Raya stepped out of his pants without help, but could feel red eyes following his every move as he did. He cleared his throat awkwardly before getting naked completely, ignoring the one watching him as he turned away from Lixian and opened up the barrow. He heard him shuffling around behind him, every nerve in his body tensing up when two arms wrapped around his stomach not a few seconds later. Soft lips pressing a light kiss against his cheek, calming him down a bit.
"Stop worrying so much, you're perfect." Lixian whispered.
Raya hummed and closed his eyes when the demon started washing him carefully, his mind forgetting about the fact that the both of them were naked and just enjoyed his time with his lover.

Re: (Union//Incarnation)
Two years ago, a meteor fell and decimated the southeastern lands of Gaia, turning them into wastelands constantly shrouded in white fog.
