《His light in the dark [bxb]》Chapter - 08

Raya silently watched the demon from where he was sitting on the ground, eyes on those lips that were moving when the creature tried to read something out loud. Lixian was oblivious to it all. The said boy frowned when he didn't understand a word, opening his mouth to ask for help, but closed it again once his eyes locked with the ones that were already watching him.
"You alright?" He asked as he combed a hand through his messy, black hair. It was getting a little long.
Raya quickly let his gaze cast down to his lap, fingers nervously playing with each other since he was caught staring. "Yes, sorry. I spaced out for a bit. You need help?"
The demon slowly nodded, noticing a familiar rosy color beginning to spread out over the human his cheeks. Something that happened a lot lately. He crawled a little closer, placing the book on the ground so Raya could read it too. "Is this... l-lovely? Lovey-ly?" He tried saying and looked up again for clarification.
Raya nibbled on his bottom lip as he scanned the book before nodding. "You said it right the first time, it's lovely."
"What does it mean?"
Raya's eyes flickered back up at those dark orbs in front of him, trying to calm down his heart that started to pick up its pace from how close they were. "Um—" He mumbled lowly, his words forgotten because of those onyx eyes staring back up at him, causing him to forget how to breath properly for a second. "You can use it in a sentence like, y-your eyes... are very lovely." He softly explained. Feeling his heart skip a beat when the demon tilted his head at that.
"What does that mean?"
Has he really never heard of it? The older questionly thought. "It means t-that your eyes are beautiful, or v-very pretty."
Lixian closed his mouth and slowly pushed himself up into a sitting position. "—Oh." He breathed out shyly and scratched the back of his neck as a blush started to take over his cheeks. Did he really think that? The demon wondered.
Raya bit his lip again and looked back down at his lap. Goddess, why did he even say that? He probably thinks he's weird or something! I mean, do men even compliment each other's eyes? He frowned, feeling more and more insecurities take over his mind. He'd never seen two men date before either...

Lixian glanced back up at the human boy after a few seconds of wondering and saw this... pained expression flash across his face. Making him a little worried. He slowly shuffled closer on his knees and reached out to his cheek, causing the boy to flinch out of his thoughts as those eyes flickered back up at his in surprise.
The younger smiled reassuringly at him and retraced his hand, not having the confidence to do the thing he wanted to do anymore now the human was glancing back up at him. Raya breathed out some air and smiled back at the demon. Forgetting all the bad thoughts he had once that shy, little smile he loved was shown.
"So... you think my eyes are lovely?" The demon asked teasingly, trying to cheer up the unusual quiet human before him.
Raya rolled his eyes and pushed Lixian's shoulder playfully, feeling embarrassed. The said demon only chuckled and grabbed the human his wrist before it could even touch him, causing the older to look up at him in surprise. He tried to escape the hold the younger had on him, but groaned out when the demon didn't let go.
"You think you can beat me?" Lixian playfully smirked with a tilted head, teasing the human further.
Raya arched an eyebrow, liking this playful side of Lixian that was shown more and more over last couple of days.
Before anyone knew, and not even a second later, they were struggeling against each other on the ground. Laughter filling the small room as the two boys playfully fought for dominance. After a few minutes of playing around, Lixian pinned Raya down onto the wooden floor with a soft thud. His lips falling into a knowing smirk as he looked down at the older. Eyes glowing red for a second. "Looks like I won?"
Raya scoffed at that and flipped them both around by using his leg, taking the demon off guard. He pinned the younger to the ground and laughed triumphantly at the surprised face underneath him. "I think you are ahead of yourself." He grinned as he sat up, letting go of the creature's wrists once it was over. Raya's legs were still on either side of Lixian's hips, however, trapping him underneath the older's body.

Lixian pursed his lips, but didn't argue with him. He just leaned up onto his elbows and tilted his head as the corners of his mouth slowly pulled up into a smile. Raya was still talking and making fun of him, as if he had won the biggest battle of the year, though Lixian didn't mind and even thought it was cute.
A weird, tingling sensation sparked in his stomach when his eyes took in the brown haired boy above him. The boy he had learned to trust and grow fond of. He inhaled the said boy's scent slowly and followed his instincts as he leaned up onto his hands, coming face to face with the human now he was sitting up.
Raya stopped rambling when he saw Lixian's face closing in. His heart picking up speed as his brown eyes locked with those familiar, dark orbs right in front of him.
Raya inhaled sharply when he eventually felt soft lips meet his, staring wide eyed at the demon's closed ones in shock. His brain not knowing how to comprehend with this new, overpowering sensation. Lixian slowly held back when Raya didn't respond, a nervous shiver running up his spine when he saw the shocked expression on the older's face. He started to regret it as he was about to apologize. Feeling embarrassed.
"I'm s—"
But before he could even finish, Raya had leaned down and had excitedly reconnected their lips back together again. Shutting him up instantly. Lixian's eyebrows shot up in surprise, but didn't hesitate to kiss him back. Eyes fluttering shut again as the tingling feeling coursed through their touch. He hummed in delight as he felt the human's fingertips on his skin and deepened the kiss by tilting his head.
The happy demon grabbed Raya's thighs on either side of him and pulled the human closer to his body. Desperate to have him as close as possible. Raya flushed red at that, their noses now touching as they both were breathing harder then before, the adrenaline and excitement flowing through their bodies. Lixian's eyes slowly turned red, his hands gliding up his human's legs to find their way onto his back.
"Lixian." Raya gasped, feeling warm hands slip underneath his shirt.
The demon growled lowly, a rumbling sound from deep within his throat. Raya chuckled softly at hearing that unfamiliar sound, unknowing he could even make that kind of sounds.
"Raya." Lixian lowly mumbled, his hands tracing up and down his human's back as his demon side slipped out. Feeling warm, soft skin underneath his fingertips. "I want you... please be mine." He pleaded, red eyes once again finding those big, brown ones that reminded him of a baby deer.
Raya was shocked at this side of Lixian in front of him. He never even realized how the demon had felt about him those couple of weeks. That he had felt the same way. "Have me." Raya eventually breathed out, his lips brushing his demon's cheek teasingly as he whispered his next words. "I'm yours."
Lixian's low growl vibrated through their bodies, a wordless expression of happiness. The demon couldn't help himself any longer, hungrily capturing those soft looking lips again as he held him tighter against his body.
Raya yelped in shock when black wings sprouted out of his demon's back without warning, wrapping themselves slightly around their bodies as protection. Lixian didn't seem to notice as he continued his trail of kisses down his mate's throat. Making Raya shortly forget about those amazing wings as he gasped for air.
It didn't matter what everyone else thought. This man was everything he ever wanted. Even though he was unsure by the fact he'd never seen two men together before, it just felt so right. With him. Lixian.
"I'm all yours." The demon whispered breathlessly against the soft skin of Raya's throat. "If you'll have me."
"You're mine." Raya whispered back, combing a hand through those black locks he had wanted to touch from the moment he saw them, and grasped a hand full to tilt his head back, locking eyes. "And I am yours."
That was all Lixian needed before marking his human. His sharp teeth that had slipped out piercing through the soft skin, clamping down possessively to make him as his.
