This story was written for the Open Novella Contest 2021 and is very much a first draft. It still needs some work, and I have plans to extend it into a longer story, but for now, you get this imperfect (but kind of funny) story of a failing Cupid.

I used prompt #67: "What? Why are you looking at me as if I grew horns?"

The story was featured on the Ambassador's Pick reading list for Round 1, and made it to the Longlist.

* The story is not rated Mature (like most of my other ones), but it does have some F-bombs. Any smut scenes are all fade to black.

** Unlike my other works, this one is written in US English, since it takes place in an unnamed American city. It just seemed odd to use British spellings in such a setting.
