"Temporary memory loss. I'm sorry we didn't tell you earlier, it must have been a shock to you. Her memory will get back to normal. It's a matter of days or weeks." The doctor said to us.
Outside Y/N's room was now crowdy. Hoseok with the dance club members was there, Jungkook's parents, Jin, as well as Yoongi, Irene, and also Yiren who was with Y/N in her room. There were also me and Namjoon.
"When can she get out of the hospital?" Namjoon asked.
"Maybe in two days. But you have to take care of her. Don't force her to remember things and make sure she's calm. We took care of the wound on her head and it'll soon get better."
When I first heard her asking who we were, I thought she'd never recognise me again. I was so relieved to know it was temporary, but it still hurt like hell.
Now that she didn't know anything about me, what person did I look like to her eyes? If she remembered, would she ever forgive me for what happened?
Doctor left and Yiren came to us.
"It's so sad. She may remember some random things and facts but she can't remember people. She would ask things about who you all are... I hope this will soon go away."
Hoseok poked my arm and told me to talk privately. We stood away from the others and talked quietly.
"5 days... the performance is in 5 days. It's very little time for someone to take Y/N's place... and it will be so sad for all her hard work to go in vain " he said and I nodded.
"Believe me, dancing with her was... something I really wanted to do. I haven't told you, but Hoseok, I really dream of dancing a lot. This dance club really changed my way of perceiving the world... and I think I would like to do it professionally. I need to be strong now that Y/N can't do it... so if I can help somehow, tell me"

Hoseok smiled at my words. As a dance teacher, hearing that his teaching actually helped me would be a great honor to him.
"I've heard something, that no matter what you forget, your body always remembers. I would like you, as a person closer to Y/N, try to dance with her. Just to see if she remembers how to do it. Don't force her. And also... as your teacher, I believe you're pretty capable of being a dancer. Or whatever you wanna be. You look somehow different from the person I first met. Different from your reputation. So I really think the person I have in front of me can achieve everything."
Soon we were allowed to visit her. I got in her room with Jin and Jungkook.
She looked at us puzzled. She really had no idea who we were. I tried to tell myself it would be okay.
"Y/N, you really can't remember me? Your most handsome classmate? No?" Jin asked and Y/N laughed nervously
"I'm sorry... I don't. Yiren said you're Jin"
"How do you feel?" Jungkook asked
"Not remembering anything sucks. It feels like they will tell you anything and you'll have no other choice but to believe them."
We nodded.
"Your brother joked that you should enjoy these moments. Remembering everything would somehow be a bit sadder than this" he said and she shrugged
"Doubt it. Do I have such a sad life?"
No one answered. She smiled bitterly.
"I noticed there are no parents waiting for me here. They told my brother to pay the fees for the two days. He explained to me that I'd have to choose to stay either with you or you for a while" she said pointing at me and Jungkook "so could it be I don't even have at house? You don't have to tell me... I prefer not knowing now. At least... I see there are lots of friends here."
Even without her memories she was so strong I couldn't help but falling for her even more.
