You found yourself knocking the door of a house you knew you were always welcomed there.
Jungkook's mother opened the door and was surprised to see you there.
"Y/N! Jungkook is upstairs... how have you been? What's wrong, sweetheart? Have you been crying?"
Her warm voice just made your eyes let the tears flow. The old lady hugged your and told you to come inside. She noticed you were holding a bag.
"I'm sorry... I... I didn't have time to tell Jungkook, but can I stay here for a while? My brother and I will buy a new house as soon as possible " You explained to her as she was embracing you.
You couldn't remember the last time you felt a hug like this. Like a mother's.
"Of course, of course, you know we can help you anytime, my husband, Jungkook and I are always here for you " She said as she gave you a tissue for your tears.
Jungkook came running from upstairs. He was shocked to see you crying in his mother's hands and quickly came to your place. He kneeled down and looked at you concerned.
"Y/N, are you okay? Why are you crying?"
"She's gonna stay with us for a while, is it okay?"His mother asked and he nodded immediately
"Of course it is..." He said and didn't ask for an explanation
He could see you weren't in the mood to give one. You always loved how Jungkook was always able to understand your feelings.
His father came home at night and also agreed with you staying there as long as you needed.
It was decided you would sleep in a room next to Jungkook's. They always had it for guests, and they were happy to put it in use.
You entered and even though it was small, you liked it more than your previous room. It felt much warmer.

You put your bag next to the bed and changed your clothes to more comfortable ones.
Jungkook knocked the door and came inside holding wine and two glasses.
"I'll be waiting for you at the balcony" he said and winked teasingly with a smile.
You smiled back and nodded.
You really didn't want to stay alone with your thoughts.
---
His balcony was much larger than yours. The night brought an amazing view and Jungkook turned on a little lamp on the table. He gave you a glass with wine and he started drinking his, looking at the stars without talking.
You were the one to break the silence.
"You're so comfortable you make me feel stupid for doubting the possibility to stay here" You joked and he laughed
"I've accepted what's to be accepted, okay? But it still makes me curious... why me?"
He looked at you.
"What do you mean?" You asked and he smiled.
"I mean why not Taehyung?"
You froze. You really didn't know what to say. What could you say? Even listening to his name was making you so sensitive you were about to cry.
When you didn't answer, he put his glass down and looked troubled.
"Oh my god, what did he do this time?" Jungkook asked and waited for you to say something.
"You...what do you know?"
He looked at the sky again, trying to remember.
"The day after the party at his house, when I came in the morning and you left so quickly, I entered the bathroom you had just left from. I found a maid costume there, Y/N"
You opened your eyes widely.
"I remembered you knowing the way to his house, him saying you're gonna help him clean, and now I think that even when you were glancing at us at the party...you were glancing at him. I remember his poker face when I said I'll confess to you, how he was treating you at his house and in front of the class, how he gave you his clothes... and then I saw you dancing together. That was when I decided to give up entirely. You were breathing for each other over there"

You were dumbfounded. You weren't aware of the fact he had noticed so many things.
"Tae doesn't know I know. But now let me ask again... why did you come here and not at his house? What did he do?"
