It was better than you thought.

The people at the restaurant treated you amazingly well and asked questions about your life and your previous jobs. When they heard about your mother they knew how much you needed the job.

Two days later, they called both you and Yiren and told you you were hired.

The last day you worked at Taehyung he paid you for the last month. You were about to leave when he blocked your exit with his hand.

"I'm gonna miss you being my maid " he said dramatically and you smiled

"I think you should start cleaning the house yourself"

He laughed at your words. You felt grateful you were able to see that smile.

He looked at the time. It was pretty late.

"You know, there's no school tomorrow... and there's no one waiting home for you... would you like to hang out? Let's go for a drink or something"

Hanging out with Taehyung or returning at an empty house?

"I guess...it's okay"

It's just hanging out...it's far better than staying in his house.

You had no idea where people like Taehyung were hanging out. You once went at a restaurant with the dance club, and once the two of you at a park.

He was driving and you were at the seat next to him for the first time. You were used to being in the backseat.

"Do you like clubs?"he asked you and you were surprised.

"Do I look like a club person?"

He laughed at that

"Honestly, no. But I thought it was a good idea to forget our problems and dance something that's not the songs were gonna perform."

You thought about it.

Life had been so crazy lately that it actually didn't seem like a bad idea.

You had the urge to forget everything for a while. About your mother, your brother, working, your debts, Yeji, Jungkook... all of your struggles.

Forget everything with Taehyung. The mysterious guy who went from bully to your closest person, the one wanting to approach you but you wouldn't let him, to the person you wanted to approach but you weren't brave enough.

"You know what" You said grinning at him "I'll trust you in finding a nice club"
