Taehyung's pov
My father was always trying to tell me that I'm way better than the rest of the people around me. That I should always show my power, my wealth, my dominant personality, to always control everyone and scare them.
That I'm the best and I deserve what's considered the best.
After meeting Namjoon, I can tell I've met a human far better than me. I'd never felt this way before. He was so kind, so hardworking, so independent, so loving, he wanted the best for his sister. He was feeling regrets, he could understand someone's feelings, he was honest.
A perfect big brother despite his imperfections.
And I was so aware of my mistakes, I was comparing myself with him. What can I do to be better? What can I do to make Y/N trust me more after all I've done?
I was not perfect at all but I wanted to be for her.
We left the hospital and she was walking in front of me. She seemed much happier after seeing her brother.
"I hope he didn't say anything weird while it was bringing water" she said suspiciously and I smiled at her.
"He didn't. He just said how much he loves you" I told her and I saw her smiling.
A stupid thought crossed my mind. Would she smile too if I said I loved her?
Stupid, Taehyung. Like and love are different, you should know that basic thing.
"Wanna go eat something?" I ask her
"I have an hour left till I come for work at your place. I'll go home and eat something" she answered but I insisted
"We can eat at my place and then you can work..."
"Tae" she interrupted me "I want to stay alone for a while. We're together the whole day"
Oh.
I kind of enjoyed being the whole time with her I didn't even consider the fact she'd want her peace.
I was causing trouble the whole time. She wanted to rest. What could I do to be her peace?
"Okay" I told her and smiled "I'll see you in an hour then. Or two. Take your time"
I kissed her forehead before she could react and walked away, leaving to give her the space she needed.
