When you got home, you took a bath and immediately fell asleep. When you woke up, you could smell homemade food. Sundays were the only days Namjoon wasn't working, just like you.

You found him cooking in the kitchen. He wasn't the best cook, he usually burnt some of the food, but you were willing to eat anything he'd spent time on making. You couldn't spend so much time with him because of work, so these times that he cooked for you were precious.

He'd made pancakes. Most of them had their one side a little burnt, but after spreading marmalade you couldn't feel it.

"I've made friends in the dancing club, and they want us to hang out tonight. Is it okay?" you asked him while you were taking your breakfast.

"Oh, finally you'll start going out more. I thought your only friend was Yiren, but you barely hang out with her"

So he didn't mind, you thought.

"But what are you going to do alone?"

"I'm going to work, my lovely sis"

You put your fork down and looked at him.

"What? It's Sunday"

"I know. But at this job I'm right now, they pay so little, I have to do more. I'm sorry, I'll take a day off soon, but Sundays are no longer free for me"

He said that like he didn't mind, but you could imagine how tired he could feel. You didn't want him to work all the time, you wanted him to take a rest and see friends.

"I want to go see mom, but I want to rest a bit more for tonight. Send her my greetings" Your brother said.

Every Sunday morning you were going together to see your mother in hospital. But you had to go alone today.

You nodded, understanding his need to have energy for tonight. You got prepared and left for the hospital.
