《Secrets keeper》55 - Girls night out

^^Dexter's house
"F**k... Ouch!"
"Stop whining Maddie!" Tiana scolded.
"I'm sorry, but it stinks!"
"It will because I'm twitching your brow!"
"Then be careful with it!" Madeleine huffed, sitting on the bed.
"How am I supposed to do?!"
I chuckled, watching them argue, and painted my nails with Chloe. We all had masks over our faces and we were in our PJs looking silly, but who cared?
The boys were having the same to cheer Nate up and Madeleine didn't want to stay behind, so she announced that we'll have a night out too.
Here we were in Brittany's room having a girl's night out.
Nate was furious at Brittany when he found out we got Grace to resign and him back in the school. Nate screamed at Brittany in front of everyone in the High school corridor. The students standing there were oblivious to the backstory and thought they were fighting because Brittany got jealous of Nate dating another girl.
I was stunned at Brittany's reaction as she quietly stood in her place and listened to Nate. When others tried to stop Nate, she refused them to do it and let Nate spill his outrage.
"Are you done?" She asked when Nate stopped, and his chest rose and fell in heavy breaths. "I'm going to let this one slide because you are not in the right state of mind and one day when you'll realize this. Come to me and apologize for this till then. Adios!"
With that, she left while the rest of us gawked at her in astonishment.
"AAH!" Madeleine's scream jerked me out of my thoughts. "Bit*h, you're brutal!"
"I'm trying to make you look pretty!" She grumbled.
"More like torturing me!"
"Don't blame me if it's a jungle there!"
They began bickering, and I muted them out when Chloe called my name.
"How does this look?!" Chloe showed me a picture of a pink full-length dress. "Will it look pretty on me?"
"It will look amazing." I beamed.
"Show me too!" Madeleine and Tiana said simultaneously, forgetting they were fighting a second ago.
"This is gorgeous!" Tiana gushed, then sighed, putting the tweezer down. "I still have got nothing for prom."
"Thank God it's over," Madeleine grumbled, rubbing the red patch of skin between her eyebrows. "And just get a black hoodie and pants."
"That's what you're wearing?" Chloe raised her brows and Madeleine's lips stretched into a grin. "WHAT?!" she shrieked, making us wince. "How could you Maddie?!"
She began scolding her about the choice of her outfit and showed her pictures on the internet while Madeline argued she didn't want to wear a frock.
"What's taking B so long?" Tiana groaned, ignoring the two of them. "She was supposed to get ice cream from the kitchen, not the store."
"I'll go check on her." I closed the nail paint bottle and got up from the floor.
"Thank you." Tiana smiled and began painting her nails.
Brittany's room was on the opposite side of the house from Ben's. It was the same size, but Ben's room was all black while Brittany's was pink.
I stepped out to the corridor and descend the stairs. It was around ten and the maids were all gone, leaving us five girls alone in the house.
When I entered the kitchen, I saw Brittany on the phone.
"Nate is being stupid, that's all..." She sighed and I cleared my throat getting her attention. "We'll talk later... Bye Ben."

"Tiana is wondering about the ice cream."
"Yeah..." Brittany scoffed, opening the refrigerator. "She's been craving chocolate every day."
I bit my lip and leaned my hip against the island. "How is Nate?"
"He's... Breathing." She snorted, closing the fridge. "We are out of chocolate flavor, and Tiana is going to kill me. Let me order it." She picked up her phone and began scrolling it. "And done."
"That was quick." My eyes widened when I said that out loud.
"I don't like to dwell on things." Brittany shrugged, and it surprised me she didn't get angry. "What?"
"N-nothing." I shook my head.
"You were waiting for me to react some other way, weren't you?" She raised her brows.
"No-I mean yes... But I uh..." I trailed off.
"I don't bite Lilly." She said my nickname for the first time making my speeches. "Unless I have a reason too."
"I don't know... But you don't like me and-"
"Let me get this straight." She cut me off and stood in front of me. "I don't hate you if that's what you are thinking. I know I was a little harsh when we first met, but it was because of Ben. Everyone was going around saying he was interested in some girl, but I knew that wasn't the case because he's gay. I thought you might have something against him that has him all windup. That's why I was after you."
"I-"
"I'm not finished." She held her finger, making me shut my mouth. "I didn't know you knew about him too and you were keeping his secret. Ben was back to his normal behavior after our birthday and that's why I left you alone. And also what I did to you that day was dangerous and I shouldn't have done that, so I'm sorry."
Oh wow.
I blinked my eyes a few times, trying to process everything.
"Also, I was hurt that he told you about him, but not me." She added. "But then I found it was an accident, so we are on clear."
"I-I am happy to know." was all that came out of my mouth.
"Good." She beamed. "Now you are also dating my best friend, so be careful and not break his heart, or else I'll break you."
And she's back.
"Sure." I chuckled when I saw the amused look on her face and she extended her hand in front of me.
"Let's start over. Hi, I'm Brittany Forbes but you can call me B."
I giggled, grabbing her hand and gave it a firm shake. It was like the time I had this same conversation with Ben.
No doubt they are twins.
"I'm Lillian Smith, but you can call me Lilly." We grinned at each other, then a question clicked in my mind. "How did you find out about Ben?"
"I'm an observant person, unlike my friends." She gave me a sly smirk. "I might have also seen Toby a few times sneaking around our house... And boy, they can be loud sometimes."
My eyes widened when she said that and we both burst out laughing. "I agree with that."
"Ben told me the entire story of how you found out." She patted my cheek. "I feel bad for your innocent brain."
"That was the day I'll never forget my whole life." We giggled, and it felt good to have a friendly chat with her.

"If you knew about Ben all this time, why didn't you confront him?"
"I wanted him to tell me that himself." She exhaled a feel breath. "Stuff like this isn't easy to discuss with anyone, but he's my younger brother, my twin! I wanted him to come to me like every other thing, but he didn't."
"You are older?" I raised my brow.
"By a minute." She said with a grin and winked. "And that's a plus point for me."
I giggled and was almost startled when Tiana's scream echoed through the empty hall into the kitchen.
"Where is my ice cream?!"
"On its way!" Brittany yelled back and grumbled. "She's getting needy. I wonder how David keeps up with her." The name David made me flinch, and Brittany noticed it. "What?"
I shook my head, but she narrowed her eyes. Gulping, I adjusted the glasses that I wore over the face mask.
Something in me wanted to tell Brittany about David. What she did for Nate was so remarkable and I knew she would do anything to help her best friend... But for that, she needed to know the truth.
I never promised David about his secrets. I was just afraid.
Maybe it's time to be brave.
"B, there is something you should know." I bit my lip, debating if I should continue. "You won't believe me-"
"Try me." She folded her arms and watched intensely with her green eyes.
I took a deep breath, and I knew she was the only one who can help me, so I blurted.
"David is cheating on Tiana." She blinked at me.
"What?"
"I saw David with Velma..." I told her everything that happened on the day of the soccer match.
"Motherf**king a**hole!" She slammed her fist on the island. "That jerk face! Why didn't you tell anyone that?! It's been a long time!"
"He threatened me and that's why I told no one." I gulped, and I knew deserved her anger.
"Why are you telling me this now?"
"I had no proof, and I knew no one will believe me over him. But what you did for Nate was selfless, and I thought you can help Tiana with this too."
"Oo, I'll kill that sc**bag!"
"Will you tell Tiana?"
"She won't believe me either." She gritted through her teeth. "Not until we prove it to her..."
"How?"
"Wait..." Brittany's brain clicked. "I talked to Ben earlier, and he told me David wasn't there... Means he's around somewhere jerking his d**k."
"You think he'll do that at his home?"
"Never..." She shook her head. "Mayor will kill him if he saw him doing anything scandalous. He must be somewhere like at the girls' house or a party."
"Dexter I having a party tonight." Brittany stared at me but looked deep into her thoughts.
"That's-" The bell cut us off. "Give me a second."
She marched out of the living room and I followed her to the main gate. She jerked the door opened and there was a boy around our age in a blue uniform standing with the ice cream bucket in his hands.
"Your order-" Brittany cut the guy by paying him cash.
"Keep the ice cream. My treat!" She beamed and slammed the door in his face.
"Uh..."
"Let's go." She stormed upstairs to her room, and I followed her. "And don't worry. I don't let David lay a finger on you."
I nodded, and we entered Brittany's room in which Chloe, Madeleine, and Tiana were having a pillow fight.
"Girls!"
The three of them halted, and Tiana frowned. "Where is the ice cream?"
"F**k it." She gave her a sly grin. "We are going to a party."
"Crap Tiana." Brittany huffed, giving up the back zip she was trying to close in Tiana's dress. "Bit*h, you're getting fat."
"Don't remind me of that." Tiana groaned. "Give me something loose."
"I'll look for it," Brittany eyed Tiana's chest.
Tiana was getting healthy, and she even had a minor bump of belly barely recognizable. It's been over two months since she found out about her pregnancy and I wonder how she'll react when... Or if we find David at Dexter's party.
When Brittany announced we were going to Dexter's party, everyone gaped at her like she lost some screw and began complaining, but one glare from Brittany made them shrink.
We brought nothing to wear except PJs, so Brittany let us borrow her clothes. I wore her white shirt, which was a little loose on me with the black pant I came in here.
Madeleine refused to change, saying she'll go in her skull-printed PJs. Chloe wore a black frock with big beige flowers printed over it. Brittany wore a blue Adidas t-shirt with white shorts and shoes.
"This is the loosest dress I got." Brittany came out of her closet and showed a dark blue knees length frock.
"It'll work!" Tiana yanked it out of her hands and went to the bathroom to change.
Everyone was almost ready to go, and I glanced at my phone. Andrew will get angry if I don't tell him. I've hidden enough things from him. I didn't want more of it.
His reply came within a second, making my heart jump. I renamed his name when his mother told me childhood stories about Andrew at dinner. It was cute how embarrassed Andrew got.
I was about to answer him, but my phone was snatched from my hands.
"What are you waiting for?" Madeleine raised her brows at me and looked at everyone ready to leave. "Let's go."
"Everything alright?" Brittany eyed me and I nodded.
"Yeah-" My phone blared in Madeleine's hands, making her grin.
"Drew the daring is calling." She teased, switching the phone off. "But it's girl's night, so no boys."
"Can I have my phone?" I asked, and she shook her head.
"You can have it tomorrow. Now get up."
My shoulders slumped, and I got following them downstairs. Brittany's phone blared, and I knew it must be Ben. She switched her phone off and walked to her car.
Tiana sat in the passenger seat with Brittany in the driver and the rest of us behind.
Everyone asked Brittany why she wanted to go there suddenly, but Brittany dodged the questions and before we know it, we were outside Dexter's house.
The house was enormous, not as big as the Clichés, but still. The party was swinging when we entered and everyone was surprised to see us. They began whispering as we stood in the living room and Dexter came to greet us.
"Hey, guys..." He trailed off, seeing the five of us, and wasn't sure if he should be delighted or not. "I'm surprised to see you all here."
"Nice party," Brittany mumbled as she looked around, searching for the one we came here for.
"Thanks. Would you guys like to have a drink-"
"Some other time." Brittany cut him and took a step closer.
We watched her as she whispered something in his ear and his eyes grew big.
"I saw him going upstairs," Dexter whispered back, but we heard him.
"Who is upstairs?" Madeleine frowned beside me.
"Let's find out. Shall we?" Brittany gave a fake smile and glimpsed at me.
He's here.
Everyone went on with the party, and we ascended the stairs.
"What's going on here, B?" Tiana asked, getting frustrated.
"We are about to find out." She gritted and stopped in front of a room.
She gestured for us to stay quiet, and everyone frowned while I knew what was about to happen. Brittany placed her ear on the door and her eyes widened. After a second, we heard moaning coming from inside.
"Someone is having sex in there." Madeleine grimaced. "You want to see live sex?"
Brittany rolled her eyes and Dexter came from behind us, extending the key in front of Brittany.
"What're you doing?" Tiana asked.
Brittany ignore her and knocked on the door. The noise stopped coming from inside and we heard shuffling. From the corner of my eye, I saw Dexter going downstairs again. She hurried and insert the key and slammed the door open.
"What the f**?!"
We heard a girl's scream when we entered. My eyes bugged out when I saw Fiona on the bed, covering her naked body with a duvet.
"Ah, Fiona! So nice to see you!" Brittany said in a honey tone and clasped her hands. "It's been a long time."
"What the f**k Brittany?" She snapped, and her eyes darted to us behind her and widened. "What is the meaning of this?"
"Oh, nothing. I wanted to visit you, that's all." She beamed.
"Where is the guy?" Madeleine asked, looking around. "He should be here unless you were masturbating."
"I highly doubt that with the sounds she made." Tiana gagged.
"There is no one here." She got her clothes from the ground and wore them.
"Are you sure?" Chloe eyed the curtain. "Because I can see someone's legs."
"There he is!" Brittany grinned and walked towards the curtain. "May I present you..." She yanked the curtain and Tiana gasped loudly. "David Mayer!"
"F**k B!" He screamed and covered his naked body with the curtain.
"David?" Tiana stepped towards him in disbelief and her eyes darted from him and Fiona, who didn't have any shame written over her.
"What the f**k?!"
We whirled our heads at the voice and my eyes widened when I saw Ben, Jordan, Louis, and Andrew standing at the door frame.
What are they doing here?!
I observed Andrew as he looked around with others, confused.
"David is cheating on Tiana." Brittany blurted. "He's been cheating on her for a while now."
"How could you do this to me?!" Tiana screamed as her eyes become teary. "How could you?!"
"Tiana my love I can explain-"
"Don't call me that, you a**hole, cheater, sc**mbag!" Tiana threw the pillows at him.
"I'm sorry, but it's not like that-"
"Four years... We've been in a relationship for four f**king years and this is how you're going to repay me! By cheating me with this whore!"
"Hey, I'm standing here!" Fiona screamed.
"Why don't you leave before I restructure your ugly face," Madeleine growled at her, making her scurry out of the room.
"Tiana babe-"
"Don't call me that!" Tiana slapped his face. "F**k David, I'm pregnant!"
A loud gasp echoed around the room, and then there was pin-drop silence. My jaw dropped when I realized what she had blurted.
"What?" David whispered in disbelief.
"I'm f**king pregnant with your baby and I told no one about this because I didn't want dad to hurt you." She furiously wiped her cheek with the back of her hand. "But now I don't care if you even rot in hell!"
She screamed and sprinted out of the room with Chloe following her.
"Why don't you girls leave?" Ben said, cracking his knuckles.
"We'll take care of him," Louis growled, stepping into the room.
"Lillian." Andrew stood in front of me and clasped my shoulder. "Don't wait for me and leave." He glanced at Brittany, and she nodded.
"Let's go." Brittany grabbed my hand.
"But I want in!" Madeleine gave a puppy dog face to Jordan. "Jo, please, I want to kick his a** too!"
"Not today Maddie." He shook his head.
Brittany yanked Madeleine and me out of the room and I heard David screaming behind us.
"Guy, listen, there is a misunderstanding! Nothing happened! Fiona was getting all over me and I told her to stay away from me. I'm telling you the truth, please!" His voice became muffled when the door slammed closed, and I shivered at the thought of what the guys will do to him.
We descend the stairs, and everyone stared at us in confusion.
"What's the matter?" Madeleine growled. "It's a party right. Play the music!"
The music turned on again and everyone scattered while we walked out of the house towards Brittany's car.
Tiana was sitting in the back seat crying her eyes out with Chloe hugging beside her.
"I wish I could beat him." Madeleine groaned, seeing Tiana's condition.
"The guys will handle him," Brittany said, and I turned to her.
"What are they going to do with him?"
