I groggily open my eyes. I wince as I notice the bright light above me. My eyes readjust until I could see clearly. I wince as I try to sit up. I look down to notice all the bandages taped onto my body. I try to put my mind about what happen.

All I remember is getting attacked by Gaara. I look around at my surroundings. I was in the hospital. I slid the blanket off my body and throw my legs over the side of the bed. I slide off and hang onto the wall next to me.

I pant and take deep breaths. I then try to move but my leg gives out from under me. I gasp and try to catch myself. I couldn't connect with my chakra. My body then hit the floor with a loud thud.

I whimper at the amount of pain my body erupted into. Everything started to hurt badly. I heard the door of the room slid in. I look up faintly to see a nurse. She gasps at the sight of me.

"Oh dear! Kitsune you're not well enough to start moving yet" says the nurse. She starts walking over towards me.

I let out some type of growling noise at her. She stops and I start whimpering again. Why does my body hurt so much.

"I'm going to go get another nurse okay." the nurse says.

She runs out of the room and then comes back with another nurse. They both lift me up and place me back into the bed. I pant at the amount of pain rushing through my body right now. It hurts so bad.

I close my eyes trying to relax. The nurses left me alone in my room again. A doctor came in with the same nurse as before. The nurse rushes over to my side and places a hand on my forehead.

"She's burning up again. Her fever is very high" says the nurse.

She goes out into the hallway and rolls out a tray. She takes the towel that was on the rag and wets it. She then gently places it on my forehead. I sigh as my body starts to relax a bit. The nurse gives me a soft smile before leaving me with the doctor.

The doctor walks over to me and gives me a softened look. He then places his hands over my stomach and his hands glow green. My eyesight starts to get blurry and foggy. I get one more look of the doctor before my world fades to black again.

I wake up once more to the sound of talking. My ears flicked slightly trying to listen in on the people talking.

"Is she going to wake up soon?" asked a young female voice

"She should be waking up again really soon" says an adult female voice

"Wait you mean she woke up already!" exclaims a loud voice

"Shh Naruto! Your being so loud right now" says that young female voice.

"Alright, I will leave you two in here with her. I will be back to tell you when the visiting hours are up" then footsteps leave.

I groan and slowly open my eyes. I could see two faces. One was yell and the other was pink. My vision cleared when I could make out the faces. Naruto... and Sakura. They are my comrades on team 7.

Naruto's eyes widen at me and he gives me a smile. "Hey Kit, it's nice to see you awake. You really had us worried"

"Yeah Kitsune. The doctor wouldn't even let us come see you until you had gotten stable again" explains Sakura.

I nod and try to sit up. Naruto and Sakura helped me sit up in a easy way. I look at them and saw a few faint scratches. I could see some on Sakura to.

"Oh Kitsune! I almost forgot. I didn't know if you had eaten anything yet so I got you some water and ramen" Sakura says.

She goes into the little bag she has and places it on my lap. She then pulls out the bottle of water and opens it.

I gave her a look and look down. She hands the bottle over to Naruto who was now sitting on the bed next to me.

"Alright Kit, you should try to drink some of it. I will help you since you just woke up" Naruto says.

I nod at him. He places the bottle to my lips and I take small baby sips. The water felt so nice going down my dry throat. I didn't notice I had drank the whole bottle in under a minute. Naruto smiles at me and rubs his cheek against mine. I look at him and smile.

"Well that was interesting wasn't it Sakura" Naruto grins.

"Yeah, at least we know you're doing a lot better Kitsune. Maybe later when you're up to it, you can try to eat the ramen" Sakura smiles.

I gave a nod. Then I look down when feel empty on the inside. I feel Naruto wrap his arms around me. I lay my head on his shoulder as small tears fall down my face. Sakura gives a sad look and wipes my tears away.

"Nana... ojichan gone?" I whimper looking up at him

"Yeah, he is Kit. I'm so sorry for your loss" Naruto says.

I whimper and I bury my head into his shoulder again. Sakura climbs onto my bed to and gives me a hug. I sniff and cling to Naruto not wanting him to disappear. I lay my head on his chest listening to his heart beat.

"It's going to be okay Kitsune. At least you still have us" Sakura says smiling.

I nod and don't say anything else. Naruto and Sakura then begin talking about what happened in the village after the attack. Ojichan was having a funeral two days from now. He then told me about how everyone was doing. Everyone was worried about me including Gaara.

I sigh laying my head against Naruto's chest. I then let out a yawn.

"Kit you sleepy?" Naruto asked

I let out another yawn but shake my head. I didn't want him to leave me just yet. "...no..."

I hadn't noticed that Sakura had left the room to visit someone else who was also in the hospital.

"Kitsune? I know you really aren't talking much but I wanna ask you a question." Naruto says.

I look up at him and tilt my head. "Hm"

"When you were in your nine tails state, where you scared of not coming out of it" Naruto asked me.

My ears flatten and I whimper. I didn't remember much about it but I hated being in that state. I was filled with so much undying rage and anger. I don't like having a feeling like that inside of me. Yet I didn't have any control over my actions.

"Hey Kitsune" Naruto whispers. He pulls me so I was sitting on his lap with my head on his chest. "I didn't mean to make you upset. I'm sorry I asked"

I look up at him and nod. I whimper and cuddle closer to him. Naruto was my big brother and he is always here for me. I yawn and place my head on his heart. I listen to the steady beating of his heart.

"Kit, you should get some more rest. I know staying awake much me tiring for you" Naruto says.

I look up at him and tighten my hold on his shirt. I yawn and close my eyes. I started to relax as Naruto combined his fingers through my hair. I cuddled closer to him and I feel asleep once again.

***2 days later***

I wake up again to the sound of rain hitting my window. I sit up and my body didn't hurt as much anymore. I climb over to the end of the bed and grab my clipboard. I check the date and gasp.

Today was Ojichan's funeral. Wow... still can't believe Ojichan was now gone. I wish he didn't leave so soon. I climb out of the bed and place my feet on the wall. I walk over to the bathroom located in the room. I took a quick look at myself... I was a mess. Everything about me was out of wake and even worse my eyes were red.

Not nine tails red, but red from crying so much. I untie my bandages and start up the shower. I hop in and let my body soak. I let out a sigh at the feeling of the warm water hitting my body. I stay in it for a couple more minutes before starting to wash. I wash my hair last and then hop out the shower.

I look around and I found a brush and blow drying. I brush my hair and I decided to leave it down. I wrap the towel more around myself and walks out of the bathroom. I went into the closet in the corner and nod. I had some clothes in there.

I put it on. It was my jacket I got from the forbiddens, a tank top, black leggings, and my sandals. I put on the leggings and sandals. I then took the time to wrap myself in new bandages. I slip on the tank top and the jacket. I grab a whole bunch of pillows and place them in the bed.

I cover them with a blanket and walk over to the window. I slid it open and walk out. I send chakra to my feet and clung to the wall. I close the window and jumped onto the ground. I wince at my somewhat weak bones and stand up.

I begin walking around the village looking for where they were going to have the funeral. I head into the nearest store and walk up the front desk. The elderly lady at the counter turns around to face me. Her face gives me a soften smile.

"You must be Kitsune, right dear?"asked the lady.

I nodded.

"Well dear, you must be looking for everyone. They are holding the funeral on top of the hokage mansion" says the lady.

The lady bends down and hands me a flower. The flower was so pretty. It was pink with red and pink petals. Tears start to reach my eyes as I remember these being the flowers Ojichan told me about. He said he loved these types of roses so much.

"The hokage told me to save that flower for you the day he was to leave the earth" smiles the lady

I give her a faint smile and bow to her. The lady smiles back at me. I then exit her store and start walking towards the hokage mansion. I take a deep breath as I feel rain start to fall on my face.

"Ojichan... " I whisper.

I start run through the rain ignoring my pain. I send chakra into my feet and hop across the roof stops. I get to the hokage mansion and jump up to the top. I pant and look down at the rose in my hand.

I look to see everyone i knew standing in lines. I make my way towards the crowd of people and gently push my way to the front. As I past through the crowd I heard people gasp. I make it and see everyone placing flowers on Ojichan's grave. I feel a hand on top of my head. I don't turn around when I could feel who's chakra was behind me.

"D-daddy... he's gone" I whimper.

Daddy pulls me close to his chest, "It's okay Kitsune. Why don't you go up and place your flower"

I look up at him and slowly walk towards the grave. I look down at my flower and then at the picture of my Ojichan. I then start to remember my favorite time spent with Ojichan...

I was with Ojichan in the forest. I was running around as Ojichan watched. I gasp when I see the prettiest flower floating down the stream. I giggle and into the stream picking up the flower. It was a rose with pink and red petals. I run over to Ojichan and show him the flower.

"Ojichan! Look it! I found this flower in the stream, don't you think it's pretty!" I exclaim

Ojichan bends down to my height and takes the flower. I give him a big grin and Ojichan chuckles. He then places the flower in my hair and picks me up. I wrap my arms around him.

"Now every time I see a flower like this one. I will always think of my little kitsune" Ojichan smiles.

I nod, "Yay! I'm Ojichan's favorite flower!"

Ojichan then starts laughing. I escape his arms and we begin walking through the forest again. My small hand in his big one.

I hadn't noticed I was crying. I sniffed and wiped my tears away. I look down once more at my flower and place it with the rest. I slowly back away and take a breath. I then look at Ojichan's grave.

"Watashitachi ga mōichido ojīchan ni au made. My will of fire will never change, but it will grow stronger..." I whisper. *Until we meet again grandpa*

The rain stopped falling and the sun began to shine through the gray sky. I look up at the sky and then back at the coffin. I silently gasp when I swear I saw Ojichan. He was wearing his hokage outfit and he was smiling. Then he disappeared.

I turn around and walk towards the crowd. I make eye contact with everyone in the village. I click my tongue and start walking away.

"Kitsune? Where are you going?" asked Sakura.

"Koko igai no basho. Mō nakitaku wa arimasen." I answer her. *Somewhere other than here. I don't want to cry anymore"

I go to leave when someone grabs my arm. I already know who it is so I don't put up a fight. I whimper and I'm then pulled into a chest. I lay my head on the person's chest, and my breathing gets heavy. I'm biting my lip to keep from crying.

"Kitsune, it's alright. You can let everything out. It's okay for a ninja to show emotions at such a young age. Ojichan would want you to" says my father.

I shake my head and bury it into his chest. My tears start coming out now. I hate crying, I don't like it. Ojichan said it was okay to cry in times of sadness. This should be that time. I should be happy. At least now my Ojichan is happy with the other Hokage's in the sky. I lay my head on my father's chest.

"I don't want to cry anymore" I whisper.

"I know Kit, but remember Lord Hokage will always be with you" dad says. I nod and my wipe my tears away.

My Ojichan... will never be forgotten.

******Next Day******

"Come on now Kit! Your moving like an old lady" Naruto says.

I smirk, "Well this old lady had got some moves"

I throw a punch to Naruto's head and he blocks it. I grin at him and scissor kick him. He screams and falls to the floor. I sit on Naruto and hold a kunai to his neck. Naruto looks at me and I stare down at him.

"Ow, thanks Kit. Now I'm going to have a headache" Naruto groans.

I laugh and stand up. I put the kunai back in my pouch and help Naruto off the ground.

"Well that was fun right Naruto" I grin.

"Believe it! Alright Kitsune let's go back to the village" Naruto says.

I nod and we start running towards the village. Naruto and I have been up for a few hours getting some training in. My stomach makes a weird noise and I sigh.

"Naruto we're going to go get some ramen right" I ask

"Yup! Then we could get back to training" Naruto answers

"Awesome!"

Naruto and I see konohamaru. We go over to him and talk to him for a little bit. Before Naruto and I went out for ramen. We were running for joy.

"Oh boy! I can't wait to get some ramen!" Naruto exclaims

"Yahoo! Can't wait to taste it for the first time in a while!" I cheer.

Naruto laughs and I giggle. Then I hear the sound of a bell faintly ringing. I look up on top of one of the building. I saw who people in cloaks with clouds on them. They both were wearing hats. Naruto grabs my attention.

"Hey Kitsune come on! Ramen is on the line!" Naruto exclaims.

I look at him and then back at the building. They weren't standing there anymore.

"Naruto didn't you see them" I ask

"See who? Kitsune come on, your hunger is getting to your mind!" Naruto says

"O-oh okay Naruto-kun" I said.

Naruto grabs my hand and we keep running. I'm sure though that there were people standing there. I didn't like the feeling of that chakra that they gave off. I shrug off the idea and keep running with Naruto.

When Naruto and I finally get there we order the biggest bowls of ramen ever. I moan at the taste of the ramen. Man have I missed this stuff so much. I was humming a happy tune about how awesome the ramen is!

"Oh my gosh! Old man this is so good!" I exclaim.

"I can tell, you've such a big abbite Kitsune. How are your wounds holding up" asked the old man.

I move my arms around, "Pretty good! With some more training I'll good as new!"

The old man's eyes look from me to the person behind me. "Hey welcome!"

"I had to see it with my own eyes. It look like the two of you do eat nothing but ramen, huh, shorties" Jiraiya says.

Naruto turns around with a face full of ramen. "Pervy Sage!"

A little time later. Pervy sage began explaining a mission he was going to go on. Naruto glares at him

"AH! NO WAY! How come I get stuck tagging along with you while you do research for another of of your pervy books" Naruto whines.

"Look kid, I can assure you that this isn't just another research trips. There's a women I have to find-" I stopped him from talking.

"That doesn't sound like anything we want to do. Beside Naruto and I have better things to do while you go hunting for a women" I explain, folding my arms behind my head.

"Yeah! You can forget it old man! I have to get busy with my training!" Naruto says.

"What training?" Pervy Sage asked.

"It's time Kakashi-sensei taught us something new, like that chidori thing!" Naruto explains.

"I see. Hmm. You'll just be wasting your time. Chidori's not really your style." He says, wwe give him a blank face, "And besides that, kids, the woman we're looking for is really beautiful. I mean gorgeous!"

I give him a look, "Like we care"

"Yeah, Look pervy sage, who do you think you're talking to? I'm not some dumb kid you can fool with lame excuses! I'm not going! Neither is Kitsune!" Naruto shouts.

"Yeah!" I exclaim. I wrap my arm around Naruto's neck and stick a tongue out at Pervy Sage.

Pervy sage looks kinda hurt, "Fine suit yourself. I was going to teach you a jutsu that made the chidori look like kid stuff. Maybe I'll just see if Sasuke wants to come."

Naruto and I look at each other. We run quickly in front of Pervy sage. With both had hope shining into our eyes. "RIGHT, WHEN DO WE LEAVE!!"

Naruto and I both grin. Then run past him to go pack our bags. "I'LL GO PACK MY BAG!! HA, HA! STAY RIGHT THERE, PERVY SAGE!!"

Naruto and I nod at each other and run to our house. I burst open the door of my house and yell 'I'm home again!!'. I don't get replies and I sigh. I walk into my room and grab my bag. I grab a whole bunch of clothes and put in there. Plus some more weapons and some bandages to wrap my wounds up. I wander into my father's room and grab like two scrolls from under his bed. I throw them into my bag and zip it clothes. I walk over to the mirror and nod at myself.

"Alright! I'm ready... oh wait almost for got my brush!" I exclaim

I grab my brush and throw it into my bag. Now I was done. I close the bag and leave a note on the fridge for my dad to read. I grab a bag of dumpling from off the counter and exit my house. I run to meet up with Naruto.

I barge into his house to see Naruto packing his bag. I throw myself onto his bed. Naruto looks at me and grins.

"Kitsune, I can't wait to learn this new jutsu!" Naruto laughs.

"Yup! Then we will unstoppable! One step farther to becoming hokage" I cheer

Naruto had finished packing and was putting on his shoes. I jump up from the bed holding my bag. Naruto and I fist bump and head on out the door. We meet Pervy Sage by the gate. I held my bag and let out a yawn. Naruto fixed his head band.

"Onward to new adventure!!!!"

"Believe it!!!"
