Naruto and I were currently eyeing the next place for our exam. I got a very bad feeling by just looking at it. I even thought I saw the world's biggest bug in there. My blood ran cold.

"This whole place completely creeps me out" Sakura said, while gulping.

"It should. They call it the forest of death for a reason, you'll find out why" Anko chuckled evilly.

Naruto let out a breath, and a grin appeared on his face. He stuck out his butt and began to do some chicken dance while mocking what Anko said. I snickered, at him. Then he gave a small speech saying that this kinda threat won't work on him.

"Really" Anko gave crooked smile, "Looks like we got ourselves a tough guy". Suddenly her eye twitched and she threw a kunai passed Naruto. It cut him in the cheek. Then almost as fast as lightning she was behind him, and she did had that crooked smile on her face.

"Are you tough enough to handle this" Anko whispered creepily in Naruto's ear. His face was frozen with fear. She was about to say something else, when she suddenly pulled out a kunai as a grass ninja was behind her. She held a kunai on her freaky long split tongue. I got a chill from her.

"I was just returning your knife" said the freaky lady.

"Why thank you grass ninja" Anko smiled, while taking the kunai.

"You know, I really only recommend that you stand this close behind if you want to meet you untimely end." Anko said, looking at the ninja from the corner of her eyes. The grass-ninja has a slight smirk on her face.

I slowly made my way over to Naruto. I stood slightly behind him, as I

watched the creepy lady. She muttered something to Anko while smiling. Her one visible eye looked directly at me, before walking away. I gulp and my leg was between my legs. That's how scared I was! The lady walked passed Sakura and I thought she was going to faint.

I looked at Naruto and he was holding his cheek. He then looked at me before trying to mick the grass-ninja's tongue. I poked his cheek, and he looked me. Anko was passed us and towards the front again.

"Now before we start, I have something to hand out to you all" Anko then pulled a stack of papers from her jacket. If we have to do anymore test I am going to hurt her. "It's just a standard consent form. You all have to read it then sign it"

"What for" asked Naruto

"Some of you may not come back from this test and I have to get your consent to that risk. Then you would be my responsibility" Anko laughed then handed Naruto the form to hand out.

"Alright. This test will test everyone of you on your survival skills." Anko said. I looked down at the form. Anko then pulled out a scroll with a map on it

"First, I'll give you a step-by-step instruction of the terrain of this Training Field. Training Field Number 44 is surrounded by 44 locked entrance gates, there are rivers and a forest and a tower in the middle. It's about 100 kilometers from the towers to the gate. In this confined area, you will go through a certain survival program."

Anko rolled out the first scroll "The contents of which are..." She then pulled out two more scrolls, "Anything goes scroll battle! A battle to get these two scrolls"

"So you need both of them" asked Kabuto.

"Yes" Anko answered, "You will be fighting for two scrolls, the Heaven Scroll and the Earth scroll. All together 26 teams got through the first test. Half of the teams get the Heaven scroll, the other half get the Earth scroll. I'll hand over one scroll to each team. To put it simply, that's what you're vying for"

"Okay so how do we pass the test?" asked Ducky-momo

"The entire squad must bring both the Heaven and the Earth Scrolls to the tower in the center." Anko replied.

"Some test this is" I said, with my arms behind my head like Naruto.

"No one ever said it would be easy. For this exam you have a time limit, you must finish within five days"

I could hear protesting from Ino and the fat... I mean Chouji. They then went on talking about what to do for food. Well, I was raised in the forest so I am able to find food for my squad! Then they went on saying stuff about huge bugs and snakes. I have a big problem with that.

"This test measures in endurance. This is designed to be a grueling test. So some of you won't be up for the challenge."

"Umm.. so you can quiet in the middle of the exam right?" Shikamaru asked. Anko looked at him weirdly.

"Of course not. In the middle of a battle you can't say 'sorry I quit'. Well I mean you could but it would get you killed!" Anko gave her 'warming smile'.

"Moving on, conditions of being disqualified. Number 1, if all three members of the team can't make it to the tower with the Heaven and Earth Scroll within the time limit. Number 2, if a team loses a member or if a member became incapacitated. Most important! Absolutely do not look at the contents of the scrolls until you have reached the towers!" Anko instructed.

"S-so what if it happens to flap open and you read it" asked Naruto. Anko then said, he wouldn't want to know in a creepy voice. I patted his back.

"Okay we're done! Each team take your consent forms to the hut over there for your scroll. After that, pick your entrance and all the gates will open simultaneously."Anko said while pointing to the small hut near the gate.

"Finally! Just some word of advice... Don't die!" I grinned proudly. I wasn't going to die. Let's hope your actions are louder than your bark Kitsune. I sighed, I really need to learn to think happy thoughts in times like this.

I was sitting near a tree, reading over the consent form. I read over every little detail, I groaned. This test is going to be the end of me! I sighed and I tightened my hold on the paper. I looked around and saw I was kinda far from the testing zone. I got up and started walked.

My thoughts were bubbling in my head, and I bumped into someone. I thought I was going to fall like the bridge in that song! I then felt something grab my hand and pull me into a rock hard chest. I opened my eyes and my breathing stopped.

I nose to nose with one of the cute genin here! I bumped into Gaara, the genin with the aqua eyes! A thin blush formed on my cheeks, as I stared at him. Gaara looked me deep in my eyes. My face got even warmer. I was a human cherry. He then leaned near my ear.

"You're lucky, we find your presence interesting or else... I would have killed you right here and now" Gaara's voice rang in my ears.

"I-i'm so s-sorry for bumping into you" I stuttered in fear. Gaara pulled away with a smirk on face before he walked away from me. I gulped and took steady breaths.

What did he mean by we? I shook off the thought and went to go find my squad. Still I couldn't get Gaara off my mind. Once I found them we went and turned in our forms. One of the Chunin handed Naruto a scroll.

We stood in front of the gate with thee number '12' on is. A chunin was standing in front of the chained gate. He had a serious look on his face and his arms crossed over his chest.

"Believe it! I'll bring down whoever comes near me. Twice as hard" Naruto exclaimed punching the air. I grinned and I was up on my toes. I was so ready for this exam.

Time was ticking, and I was currently making sure I had everything. I had four scrolls filled with supplies, my weapons, and then my new weapon which I order specially for me. I looked up to see the Chunin undoing the lock on the gate.

"Alright! Heads up you maggots! The second part of the exam has begun!"

The gates shot open, and we walked in. I jumped with joy and fist pumped the air. Naruto grinned, "Alright! Here we go guy!!"

"UWAHAHAHA!"

"That...sounded like someone screaming" said Sakura. I nodded at her, and I watched as birds fly over head.

"I don't like this place" Sakura stuttered. I smiled at her.

"Don't worry Sakura, everything is going to be okay" I said with a smile. She slightly smiled back.

"AH! Come on Sakura! There's nothing to be scared of, this is going to be a piece of cake." Naruto exclaimed, throwing his arms in the air.

"Excuse me a second I gotta go!" Naruto said turning around to a bush.

I closed my eyes and shook my head. I then opened them a bit. Sakura went over and bopped Naruto on the head. "CHA! NOT IN FRONT OF LADIES YOU BLOCK HEAD GO FIND A BUSH!!"

Naruto whined but then ran off behind a tree. I scratched behind my head, sighed. Naruto came back smiling.

"Aaah, that was a lot! I wrote my whole name"

"DON'T TELL ME THAT!" Sakura exclaimed. She rose her hand to kick Naruto, but Sasuke went and sent him flying into a tree. I glared at Sasuke and tried to run to Naruto.

"Sasuke?" I looked over at Naruto who had gotten up. What happen to the scar on his cheek.

Sasuke went and attacked 'Naruto' until they were at a stand by. 'Naruto' held a kunai and was glaring at Sasuke. Sasuke did the same back.

"Better watch out Kitsune and Sakura. I think Sasuke's gone crazy" Naruto said.

"Sasuke what are you doing?" questioned Sakura.

"Take a good look at him. Talk! What have you done with Naruto"

Soon Sasuke explained about what this imposter did wrong with his transformation. The 'Naruto' poofed into an opposing ninja. Sasuke held his kunai, and Sakura took one out as well. The ninja ran towards us.

Sasuke jumped up and formed quick hand signs, "Fire style: Phoenix flower jutsu!"

Sasuke shot the fireballs at the ninja, and the ninja dodged each one. Then they pulled out kunai and they clashes. I heard someone screaming. I jumped up and saw Naruto. I sighed with relief. "Aaah! Heeeey! Get me out of this"

I pulled out a kunai and threw it at Naruto. It safely cut the ropes without hurting him. I appeared next to him watching Sasuke fight.

"Thank you~"

I then got up cracking my knuckles, now it's mine turn. I ran to see Sasuke was kinda pinned down. Idiot Uchiha.

"Sasuke!" Sakura cried. Quickly I appeared aside the ninja. I waved at him and kicked him up into the air. Naruto then appeared and threw a kunai which landed near Sasuke.

Sasuke smirked as he activated his sharingan. He looked down at the kunai under his shoe. He picked it with his shoe! Then he sent it flying into the air. The ninja dodged it, but was to slow for Sasuke. Sasuke stabbed the ninja with a kunai.

I landed near Sakura as she stared in awe at Uchiha. "Sasuke! Are you alright!"

"Don't just stand there, Sakura. Kitsune keep your guard up, he may not be alone. Those other ninja could strike at any minute now!" Sasuke yelled. I rolled my eyes pulling out a kunai.

Sasuke pushed the ninja away. The opposing ninja held his chest and jumped off. I sighed with relief. Sasuke took a seat on the ground and the rest of us followed.

"This proves that we can not trust appearances. We have to come up with a way to prove who we really are and not some imposter using a transformation jutsu." Sasuke said.

Sakura, Naruto and I all nodded in agreement. "So what do we do" asked Sakura.

"We need a password." Sasuke answered.

"A password?" I asked with a confused face.

"Yes Kitsune, a password. We need a password that only the four of us will know. Don't trust anyone who doesn't know it" Sasuke began, "Listen closely because I am only saying this once. The question will be 'When does a ninja strike'. The response is 'A ninja waits until the time is right. When the enemy sleeps and drops his guard. When his weapons lay forgotten. That is the moment for a ninja to strike' Got it"

Sakura nodded in understanding. I looked at Naruto and he had the same dumb look on his face as I did. I got the first line and then Sasuke lost me.

"You got one a little shorter" asked Naruto

"I agree, that wasn't a password. That was a pass sentence" I said nodding.

"I told you I'd only say it once. Kitsune you have a better chance at remembering that" Sasuke said. I pouted.

"Come on! What's wrong? Neither of you got it? I memorized it easy" Sakura bragged. I scoffed.

"Well nobody asked for you opinion princess bubblegum" I said. She glared at me. I glared back, now lightning was sparking from our eyes.

"I did memorize it. I just didn't think it was going to be a password, not a pass speech" Naruto muttered.

"Alright" Sasuke stood up, "I'll carry the scroll"

Naruto said something but he was cut off. His other cheek was bleed. I went looked at the direction it came in.

"What was that?" I asked. I heard something and I then saw a huge gust of wind headed in our direction.

The wind sent us flying and it separated up. I added chakra to my hands and grabbed onto a tree. I then dug my nails into the branch. I then felt the wind dye down. I took a steady breath. I dropped down from the branch and on to the ground.

I looked to see Sasuke hiding in a bush. I ran over to him and he jumped up quickly.

"Sasuke!" I said, smiling. I walked closer but he pulled out a kunai and held it up. I tilted my head at him, with a dumb expression.

He asked me to answer the question. I got most of it right, and i was struggling to remember the rest of it. Sasuke shook his head at me, and said I was okay. Then Sakura came. She recited the whole thing. I rolled my eyes at her.

"So where is Naruto?" I asked.

"Heey! What's up? Are you guys okay!" shouted Naruto running towards us. I sighed in relief by the fact that he didn't get hurt.

"Don't come any closer! What's the password" asked Sakura. Naruto nodded and resighted it perfectly. It was kind a weird but I pushed it aside. Naruto remembered something!

I glanced at Sasuke and he pulled out another kunai. He threw it at Naruto and he dodged. I glared at Sasuke, and smacked him in the arm. He looked back at me.

"What's wrong with you Uchiha!?!" I scolded.

"W-what was that! You could have kill me!" complained Naruto.

"Gotta hand it to you. Your quicker than the last one" Sasuke said.

"What was wrong with that, he just got it word for word" Sakura stated. I nodded in agreement. I started my way to Naruto but someone grabbed my hand. I glared at him.

"Naruto got the password, that's what's wrong" Sasuke answered Sakura, "You really think Naruto could remember something that long and get it word for word? Not the Naruto I know. Not in a million years. You'd have a better chance of teaching it to a hamster"

"You've gotta point" Sakura said.

"Besides, you saw the way he dodged my attack. That definitely was not a Naruto move" Sasuke continued. I realised what Sasuke said. He was right, this wasn't my blonde headed friend.

"Alright, party's over come on out" Sasuke commanded.

"Show yourself" I growled, I then pulled out a kunai.

Naruto's mouth moved into a very creepy grin and his eyes changed. Then Naruto slowly licked his lips, with a long tongue. I shivered a bit at the sight of it.

"Aren't we the clever one" 'Naruto' said, in a creepy feminine voice. Suddenly a loud poof was heard and smoke appeared. When it cleared it revealed the creepy snake lady from before!!

"Tell me. If your teammate is that dim-witted, why would you come up with a password he would never be able to remember" asked the creepy lady.

"It was meant a a trap and you fell right into it" Sasuke answered smirking. I watched her every move.

"I'm impressed. You currently haven't dropped your guard have you. This promises to be very entertaining." Snake lady said, licking the rim of her straw hat

Another shiver ran up my spine and I growled. I tightened my hold on my kunai, to the point where my knuckles were white. "Where is he" I growled at her.

She turn her sighed to me and chuckled. "Now I see why the hokage is very interested in you."

I growled more,"Leave my grandfather out of this! Where is Naruto"

"He is... how should I say... having fun with my little pet" she chuckled. I stopped growling, glared at her. She knew that she was getting under my skin.

She then reached behind her and took out a scroll. I gasped, that was the Earth scroll that we needed.

"Ah. You would love to get your hands on our Earth Scroll wouldn't you. It would do so nicely with your heaven scroll" Snake lady said. She slowly lifted the scroll and her long tongue wrapped around it.

Her jaw extended and she swallowed the scroll. On the inside I was on the verge of screaming my head off. She just keeps getting creepier by the dang minute! I mean really, what ninja has the ability to do that!

"When this is all over... one of us will have both scrolls. The other will be dead"

We gasped, and I watched her eyes change. I gasped as I felt my whole body got numb. Tears started to fill my eyes, 'I just saw my death' I fell to my knees. I could hear Sasuke and Sakura next to me. My body shook in fear of the lady in front of me.

"Sa...kura?" I could hear Sasuke's voice. My breathing was unsteady, I have to do something.

I slowly moved my head, and looked at Sakura. She was shaking in fear, and tears fell down her face. I looked at the ground. I whimpered.

"Kit...sune" I heard Sasuke and Sakura say. I looked at Sakura, as my body shook. What kind of technique was this. I've never felt anything. I slowly started to reach for a kunai.

I looked back at the snake ninja, she laughed evilly, "You're paralyzed with fear"

I looked at Sasuke and saw him slightly move. I followed his lead but I just couldn't move. I have to distract myself, or at least find a way to block out her control.

I closed my eyes, and took a deep breath. I slowly started to reconnect myself with my chakra. I slowly felt my chakra flow once again. I opened my eye and tried to reach for my kunai.

I heard Sasuke let out a grunt as he struggled to stand up with a kunai in his hand.

"Very good. Now what happens?" She slowly made her way towards us. She pulled out two kunais. "Don't worry. I'll send this quick, but I don't have to tell you that do I?"

I bared my teeth at her, and struggled to try to stand. I watched her lift her arms to throw the kunais.

"I expected more of a challenge. How disappointing" She flicked her wrist.

Like lightning I saw Sasuke stab himself in his leg, and manage to grab both me and Sakura. Now we were in a tree far enough from the creepy woman. I looked at Sasuke, he's breathing was heavy and uneven.

"Sasuke" Sakura says with worry laced in her voice. Sasuke then pulled the kunai out of his leg.

"Sasuke..."

"Sasuke, that wounds pretty deep. Are you going to be alright" Sakura asked, with even more worry. Sasuke suddenly clams a hand over her mouth, to shut her up.

She looked over his shoulder. I watched his body language. It was so different from before. Sasuke was shaking in fear, now he's making me nervous. I then saw a giant shadow over us. I looked at the giant snake.

"Sasuke, Kitsune watch out!" Sakura shouted. We all jump back watching the snake bit into the tree. I flipped landing onto a nearby branch. The snake wrap itself around the tree and launch towards Sasuke.

Sasuke stared in fear and pulled out a bunch of shuriken, "NO STAY AWAY!" The snake hissed in pain and landed on a tree branch. The snake was dead.
