**Next Day**

I let out a big yawn. My squad and I have been waiting for my father to show up for ages. I should have known not to have followed his order. I really should have known, my father is never going to change. I am still in my pjs! Sakura let out a sigh then a scream.

"Why, why, why!?! It's always the same! He sets the time and we have to wait hours for him!" Sakura complained.

"It's not fair!" Naruto agreed.

"What about my feelings. I didn't even have time to blow dry my hair!" I rolled my eyes at Sakura.

"Yeah! And I didn't even have enough time to brush my teeth or change my underwear!" Naruto exclaimed. I looked at him and sweat dropped.

"Naruto! That's nasty nobody need to know that!" I said. I pulled out a mint and put it in his mouth. Naruto thanked me, and enjoyed the mint. Sasuke just looked like he was going to blow a fuse. With a poof, my father appeared on the red arch covering the bridge. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Hey. Good morning, everyone. Sorry I'm late. Afraid I got lost on the path of life" My father said in a happy tone. I grew an irk mark. I am going to hurt him.

"LIAR!" screamed Sakura and Naruto together. My father jumped down so that he was now in front of us.

"I know this is sudden. I recommended you for the Chunin exams all four of you. These are the application forms" my dad said, holding three. I rose an eyebrow.

"Application forms?" asked Sakura.

"You're repeating me Sakura. This is all voluntary. It's up to each of you. If you don't feel ready, you can wait until next year" My dad explained.

"Alright! Kakashi sensei! You're the best!" shouted Naruto. Naruto then hugged my dad.

"Hey! Don't slobber on my vest!" He said as he put Naruto down, "Whoever want to take the exam, sign the application and come to room 301 at the academy. At 3:00 PM five days from now."

Naruto gladly took an application, along with Sakura and Sasuke. I looked and saw that there were only three applications. I looked at my father.

"How come I don't get an application!" I pouted, crossing my arms like a five year old. My father looked over at me.

"Lord Hokage says that he has already filled out your application, but he won't submit it until after your ANBU exams" dad explained.

I nodded and looked at my squad. Naruto had a jaw dropped, Sakura was shocked, and Sasuke looked pissed. I kinda forgot to tell them that I was going to be the ANBU exams.

"Kitsune! You're going to be taking the ANBU exams, that so cool!" exclaimed Naruto

I rubbed the back of my neck, "I guess it's okay. Ojichan said that he wants to test my strength against strong ninja."

"How does someone like you able to get chosen for the ANBU exams" muttered Sasuke.

I rolled my eyes at Sasuke, I know he is just jelly that a girl might be stronger than him. I grinned at the thought. My father then poofed away after a while. I placed my arms behind my head and started walking. The rest followed close behind me.

"Hmm, the Chunin exams. I'll be up against a lot of really wicked ninja" grinned Naruto as he started to fantasise.

I shook my head at Naruto as he glared at Sasuke, probably a part of his train of thought. I smiled, and I then began to think about the ANBU exams. I only have one day and a half to train. I have to start thinking of jutsus I can work on.

We kept walking and I looked behind me, Sakura looked upset. I sighed and walked over to her. I held out my hand for her, and she looked at me strangely. I was ready to put our dislikes aside for a while.

"What's this for?" she asked.

"I know that we both don't like each other, but I am willing to put our difference aside until after the Chunin exams" I said, still with my hand out.

"Yeah, alright Kitsune" Sakura smiled and shook my hand.

I slightly smiled at her before running to catch up with Naruto. He owes me ramen.

**Friday**

I felt the sweat drip down my forehead, as I stared at my target. I closed my eyes focusing my chakra, I then formed the handsigns. I know that I can only use this type of release when I really need it. I opened my eyes.

"Dragon release! Dragon's roar!"

I took in a lot of oxygen into my body. I narrowed my eyes at my target and let out a large and powerful stream of fire. It took the shape of a dragon and let out a strong roar before turning back into a beam. It then hit the target while causing damage to the area around it.

I fell to my knees panting, but a smile broke out on my face. I had finally mastered an old release formed used by the first ninja on this planet. I sat down on the ground looking at the damage.

I slowly stood up and looked up at the sky. I have been training all day yesterday until about 6am this morning. A yawn escaped passed my lips. I then dragged myself home. Once at the house. I jumped onto the ledge near my window. I undid the seal on my window and walked inside.

I let out another yawn. I locked the window and threw myself on my bed. I cuddled into my blankets and let sleep take over.

I was soon awoken by someone shaking me. I hissed and swatted at them, while rolling over onto my side again trying to sleep. I heard the person grunt and exit my room. I smirked and curled back up. I opened my eyes and stared at my alarm clock.

11:30 am

I yawned and turned over. After five second of noticing the time I sat up quickly. I let out a scream. I only have twenty minutes to get ready and meet Ojichan! I jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom. I quickly took a shower and got dress.

I looked at the time. I only have five minutes! I left my hair down and slipped on my shoes. I then grabbed my ninja gear and ran out the door. I am so going to be late. Ojichan is going to kill me. I ran faster until I saw Ojichan standing in front of the Hokage building.

I ran to him, panting. Ojichan looked down at me and patted my head. I pushed his hand away gently.

"Ojichan I made it just in time" I said smiling.

"I can see Kitsune. Did you forget to eat breakfast this morning?" asked Ojichan.

I nodded, and I patted my empty tummy. I heard a bag ruffle, I looked up at Ojichan and saw him holding a dumpling bag. I squealed took the bag from him. I placed a kiss on his cheek and we began walking. I slowly eat the dumpling taking in the flavor.

I looked ahead to see a strange building out far from the main part of the village. Outside were to ANBU, they bowed towards Ojichan. I followed close behind him, as we walking into the building.

The hallway was dark and was lit by only a few torches. At the end of the hallway was a huge arena. On the sides were seats filled with some jounin and ANBU black cops. A shiver went up my spine. Inside the area was the judge and three other ANBU.

Ojichan led me down to the arena where I was to have my battle. I was kinda nervous but I didn't say anything. I looked at the three ANBU I was going to be fighting. All of them were guys! The announcer dude looked at me.

"Lord Hokage welcome! I can see that you brought your granddaughter for the exam. A fine genin of choice." The announcer smiled.

"Thank you Ryuu." Ojichan said, then turned towards me, "Kitsune I leave this battle in your hands. I want you to prove that I have trained you well"

I nodded, "I won't let you down"

I then walked over to the announcer. I was having a stare down of my three opponents. They all smirked at me, I did the same back.

"Alright! Welcome to the ANBU black cop exam! This exam is based off your skills as a ninja. Today we have a one on three exam! Ninja get ready" The announcer exclaimed.

"Get ready to lose girly" smirked the boy with black hair.

"In your dreams, idiot" I snapped.

With the sound of the bell the match began. I watched as the three guys all disappeared. I took a deep breath, and kept a cool head. I closed my eyes feeling for chakra. I found it.

I jumped to my left dodging an ambush. Than they each came at me with different jutsus. I was able to dodge most of them. My luck. I ran at them and went into hand to hand combat. I blocked and sent attacks at each of them.

The black haired one blocked my kick and sent me flying. Before I could react his friends joined in. I coughed out blood and hit the ground with a heavy thud. I tried to stand up only for someone to stand on my tail. I whimpered. I looked to see the black haired guy.

I growled at him, I'm not loosing. I grabbed his ankle and tripped him. He fell. I then rolled away from him. I watched he and his friends all stood next to each other. They had scratches and bruised. I had to finish them off now.

I took a small breath and closed my eyes focusing my chakra. I then found feel there's coming at me. I then formed handsigns. I opened my eyes and took in a bunch of oxygen. When they were near. I dodged them and used them to flip me up in the air. I formed a tiger seal.

"Dragon release! Dragon's roar" I took a deep breath. Just as in my training and blew a gust of fire at them

My flame roared and headed straight at them. They all tried to dodge they were to slow. I landed on the ground and saw them all scratched and major burns. I looked up at the stands, I could see Ojichan with a very shocked expression his face.

I looked at the announcer. He was in awe at the amount of damage that my jutsu did the other ANBU. He then walked over to me with something in his hands. It was a brown box with the leaf symbol on the top. I looked at him.

"Kitsune you have passed the ANBU exam with flying colors. As a gift for completing the exam Lord Hokage would like for you to have this gift." the man said.

"Arigatou" I bowed at him while gently taking the box. I then turned around, to see all the ANBU and jounin staring at me with wonder.

I turned around to spot Ojichan, and my dad walking towards me. I walked over to them. My dad looked my bruised lip, and he shook his head. I pouted at my head and turned my head.

My father chuckled and placed at hand on my shoulder. I looked at Ojichan he had a soft smile on his face.

"Kitsune, you did a very wonderful job." Ojichan smiled.

"Thanks!"

"But one question, where did you learn dragon release? Kakashi never talt you " He asked with a hand on his hip. My father also did the same thing.

I rubbed the back of my neck, I forgot Ojichan never knew I stole... I mean borrowed a couple of his scrolls.

"Well you see.... I umm GOTTA GO!" I bolted passed them and out of the arena as quickly as I could.

Naruto, Sasuke, and I were currently waiting for Sakura to show up. Today was the first day of the Chunin exams. After the ANBU exam, I felt like I wanted a little change. So I commanded my dad to take me shopping! I'm not a big shopper but I wanted something new.

He ended up buying me a whole new outfit. It was a light blue crop top with a black zip-up front, and black demi shorts. I kept everything else except I got a black headband to match. Anyways I looked to see Sakura running towards us.

"Sakura! Hey, you're late." Naruto said. She ignore him and looked directly at Sasuke, and once again she was blushing. Crazy fan-girls.

"Uh, right. Sorry, guys." She said to Naruto and me. Then she looked at Sasuke, "Good morning, Sasuke."

"Yeah" he replied, he then looked at her from the corner of his eyes.

We then began walking inside the academy building. Once we got to the third- Why does this area seem off. Genjutsu! We only walked up one flight of stairs. I looked ahead to see a crowd of other ninja a bit older than us. Standing around a classroom, I pushed through the crowd to see two chunin standing in front of the door. One of them punched some kid wearing a green jumpsuit. That was rude.

"You're taking the exams but you can't even get past us?" said the guy bandages on his face

"Why don't you just give up now before you get hurt?" said the guy with a blue hat. I rolled my eyes.

These people are going to be the reason why I knock someone's brains out. I can't stand bullies. Soon Sasuke pushed passed the crowd followed my Sakura and Naruto. I slowly followed behind seeing how this plays out.

"Real nice speech. Now both of you step aside and let me through" commanded Uchiha, "while you're at it reverse the genjutsu. We can see through your illusion anyway"

"We only walked up one flight of stairs, so that would mean something" I said.

Behind us I could hear two guys talking about how we were wrong, and that this is the third floor. Think I wasn't tired after walking up the stairs. Sooo this has to be the second floor.

"Well, well. You noticed the Genjutsu" said bandage guy and his partner.

I yawned, and Sasuke told Sakura to tell about the genjutsu. I sighed and watched the sign changed from 201 to 301 within an instint. I looked at Naruto and he just went along with whatever Sakura and Sasuke said.

So i think bandage guy got pissed from Sasuke response. He went and tried to kick him. The green guy from before came and stopped in a second. I gasped, he was fast. I mean really fast.

Sasuke dropped his leg and the other guy just walked away. Two people I think were his teammates walked over to the green guy. One of the people was from the hyuga clan, I could tell by his eyes, and the other had two buns on her head. I looked like higher level genin from the looks of it.

"What happen to the plan. I thought you were the one who said to keep a low profile" asked the Hyuga. From his tone he kinda sounded pissed, but that might just be the way he talk.

"I know, but.." began green guy. He looked over in Sakura's direction and a blush landed on his cheek. I chuckled to myself quietly.

"Never mind, it's over. Forget it." said bun girl.

Bowl cut man, walked passed Sasuke and towards Sakura who was standing next to me. He looked at Sasuke with determination. Sakura was confused.

"My name is Rock Lee. You are sakura right?" Rock Lee blushed, "Please be my girlfriend. I will protect you with my life"

"Huh, no" Sakura said weirded out. Rock Lee suddenly went from happy to depressed.

"Why not" he asked.

"Cause your a weirdo" replied Sakura. Rock Lee sighed and looked at me. He then suddenly blushed more than he did when he looked at Sakura.

"Well hello cutie I'm Rock Lee. Please be my girlfriend! I will alway be by your side until we die together" Rock Lee flirted.

"No! Kitsune wouldn't date a weirdo like you" Naruto exclaimed, pulled me to his side. Rock Lee looked hurt before he pouted. I felt bad, I didn't even get time to reply.

"Hey you. Over here. What's your name?" asked the hyuga looking at ducky.

"It's common courtesy to give your own name first" smirked Sasuke in reply.

"Hey, you're a rookie, aren't you? How old are you" asked the hyuga again, getting annoyed.

"I'm not obliged to answer" answered Sasuke. Naruto had disappeared from my side was now leaning against a wall with Lee next to him doing the same.

"No one wants to know my name" Naruto groaned. I grinned and patted his hair, he looked over at me.

"Don't worry Naruto. Sasuke is only getting the attention cause he thinks he is cool. He's not, your stronger then he is" I said to him. Sasuke clicked his tongue at what I said. I could care less about his opinion.

"Hey guys let's go" smiled Sakura. She grabbed us and started leading us away. I followed not wanting to be pulled.

**Small Time Skip**

{P.s I'm lazy and I really didn't want to write about the fight between Sasuke and Lee. Soo! I'm skipping to the end}

"Alright that's enough Lee" commanded a giant turtle.

So long story short Rock Lee followed us. He challenged Sasuke but Naruto wanted to fight him. Naruto got his butt kick, and so did Sasuke pretty much. The suddenly this talking summoning turtle appeared out of the blue. Did I mention he could talk!

Lee jumped to the ground calming while Sasuke went falling. I sighed I guess I'm the hero. I ran and caught Sasuke before he could get hurt even worse. Sakura was glaring at me with steam coming out of her ears. I looked back over at lee and the turtle.

"Y-you were watching us the whole time" stuttered Rock Lee

"Of course. That last technique is forbidden. You know that" The turtle stated. I glanced at Sasuke, he was pretty mad. I mean who wouldn't be the famous Uchiha got his but kicked.

"I am sorry" said Lee. I looked at Naruto who had a dumbfounded look on his face. I looked back at Lee and the turtles eye narrowed messensingly.

" I was not planning to use a forbidden jutsu. It is just, I was in the middle of the fight, and I mean you understand" blabbered Lee.

Naruto stood up from his wall and ran over to use. "Hey guys?"

"What Naruto" questioned Sakura.

"That weird thing he's talking to is a turtle, right?" Naruto asked.

"Obviously! What'd you think it is?" exclaimed Sakura.

"Okay then, so maybe it means that turtles can be sensei too" Naruto said calmly.

I shook my head, "Naruto with the weirdness coming from Lee. I wouldn't be surprised."

"See Kitsune agrees" Naruto grinned.

"Your a disgrace" snapped the turtle, "You think you'll get away with a bunch of lame excuses like that? A shinobi never reveals his techniques unless it's necessary. "
