I sighed and walked alongside Naruto as we exited the village. I just found out that the old man's name is Tazuna. Long story short our mission was to bring this old man home so he can build a bridge. That can change the life of his village for generations to come. Or so he says.

"YEAH, ALRIGHT! I FINALLY GET TO LEAVE THE VILLAGE!!" exclaimed Naruto. I smiled at his hyperness.

"Why are you so happy, Naruto" questioned Sakura. Buzz kill

"This is the first time I ever left the village. I'm a traveler now believe it!" Naruto replied.

"Am I supposed to trust my life to his little runt" Tazuna asked.

Naruto's eyebrow twitched slightly. I shook my head at him, and placed a hand on his head. He looked up at me still with fire blazing in his eyes.

"Don't worry Naruto, this old man is nothing compared to you. Besides he couldn't even defend himself without someone watching over him. Am i right Tazuna?" I rose an eyebrow in his direction.

Tazuna glared at me, and took a sip at his bottle. I smirked at walked over to my dad, and laid my head on his arm. Dad only shook his head at the conflict going on between Tazuna and Naruto. I wish I had popcorn to eat.

I chuckled and started on head. Naruto yelled at me and ran to catch up with me. I laughed louder. Soon we were headed on our way to Land of Waves.

"I'm tired!!" I whined

"Shut up Kitsune, you said that five minutes ago" commanded Sakura.

I snapped at her and turned my head around. I lets out a squeal of joy when I saw what was up a head. A PUDDLE! I ran ahead of everyone else and started jumping in the puddle. I splashed and got everyone soak. And by everyone I mean Tazuna.

His face turned red and steam came out of his ears. I rolled over laughed and Naruto joined along with me. Sakura giggled, and Sasuke just "hn" at my actions. I pouted, this kid needed to take a joke every once in awhile.

"Kitsune out of the puddle" stated Dad.

I pouted but nodded. I shook my tail out and ran to catch up with the group. I ran up next to my dad and smiled at him. Not even a second later I heard a noise.

I turned and I saw two ninja coming from the puddle. Dad pushed towards Sasuke as they tied chains around him. I shook in fear. Everyone else turned and watched as well.

The two guys pulled the chain and my Dad's eyes opened wide. I watched as body pieces fell to the ground. Then I heard a weird sound, body pieces don't make noise like that. It hit me.

Quickly I turned to see that they were behind Naruto. I made a clone and my clone appeared in front of them. I pushed Naruto out of the way and formed a handsign.

"Fire style: burning dragon flame jutsu!" I blew fire one of them burning them in the process it caused a nasty burn to his arm.

I then roundhouse kicked him into a nearby tree. I turned and saw one headed towards Tazuna. I ran towards them as fast as I could. Sakura got front of Tazuna, then Sasuke got in front of her. Holy crap I'm not going to make it.

As if Jashin heard me! Dad appeared out of nowhere catching the ninja before he could hurt anyone. I sighed in relief. Everyone's eyes lit up in surprise.

"Hi" Dad said casually. I sweat dropped, way to ruin the moment.

"Dad I am going to kill you after this mission is over. Don't do that to me!!" I scolded him.

"Sorry about that. Anyway sorry I didn't help you right away, i didn't mean for you to get hurt. Good job Sasuke, very smooth. You to Sakura, good job. Kitsune, great work" Dad said.

I nodded and looked over at Naruto. He looked shell shocked and hurt. I walked over to him and helped him stand up. I gave him one of my famous smiles.

"Hey you're not afraid are ya, scaredy Cat" Sasuke teased, while smirking.

I hissed at Sasuke in a warning tone, "Leave him alone Uchiha" Sasuke smirked at me but out a "hn" in reply. I then turned my attention back to Naruto.

Naruto frowned at Sasuke. I laid my head on his shoulder, then I noticed his wounded hand. Naruto looked at in and the pulled out a kunai. He then stabbed his hand. I squealed at the sight of blood coming out.

"Why am I so different. Why am I always..." his voice trailed off, "I couldn't even keep Tazuna safe like Kitsune or Sasuke. I will not let anyone else rescue me, since I have worked hard." I felt sorry for him, my ears flattened against my head. "Upon this wound, i make this pledge. Believe it, bridge builder i will complete this mission and get you home safely with this kunai knife"

I smiled at him for being so so so.....

"Naruto that was really cool how you took the poison out, but if you lose anymore blood you're going to die" Dad bluntly stated

For being so dumb...I sweat dropped and Naruto screamed at the top of his lungs. I sat on the ground holding my head, he was starting to give me a headache.

Dad took Naruto's hand and went to wrap it, but he stopped and started at it. He gave a really creepy look before he finished wrapping it. I sighed and looked over at the ninja.

They were gone, the rope was even cut. I shook my head, the ninja world is so confusing. I guess I can't do anything about it now. Dad stood up and gave a look at Tazuna. They then talk privately while the rest of us waited until they were done.

*TIME SKIP*

Squad 7 and Tazuna sat down in a small boat as we made our way to the Land of Waves. I was forced to sit on my dad's lap since there was not enough scape on the boat for me to sit.

"We are almost there now, the bridge is not that far" said the boat driver.

I looked and gasped. "Wow it's huge!!"

"Quiet! I told you no noise, why do you think we are traveling like this!" stated the boat driver. I puffed my cheeks, in reply. I hated being quiet unless I wanted to.

"Mr. Tazuna, before we reach the port. I want to know who those ninja are and why they are chasing after you" Dad said.

"I guess I have to tell you, no wait. I want you to know, since this goes beyond the original mission. The one that seek my life, is a short man who owns a very long shadow. His name is Gato" Tazuna stated.

"You mean of Gato transport, isn't he a businessman" I questioned. Dad looked shocked at my question but didn't say anything.

"Gato is a very power business leader from a famous business, that's true. Behind the scenes with the same ruthless methods he uses to expanded his business, he sells drugs and contraband using gangs and deadly ninja."

He explained.

I nodded in understands, and my tail shook with excitement. This mission was getting better. We soon docked on a small port and headed off towards Tazuna's village.

I took in a deep breath and sighed taking in the air. I turned around and saw Tazuna barking orders at us. I ignored him and started on head of the rest of the group.

Naruto ran out in front of us and started to act silly. And I mean this boy pulled out a kunai and threw it into the brush next to us. I shook my head sweat dropping at this kid.

"It was just a mouse" smirked Naruto

"A mouse!?! Everyone could see through your stupid act" complained Sakura.

"Naruto those are kunai knifes. Don't throw them randomly you could kill someone." said dad.

"STOP TRYING TO SCARE ME YOU LITTLE MONKEY!!!!!!!!" yelled Tazuna.

I shook my head, "Naruto you big idiot!"

"Why am I the idiot! It's true someone was following us. Wait now they are over there"

Naruto then took out another kunai and threw it at a tree. I walked over to him and punched him on the head hard. He groaned in pain holding his head.

I then watched my dad go into the brush. I follow and my jaw dropped and i slapped Naruto once again.

"You idiot, you almost killed the bunny!!" I scolled him

Naruto gasped and ran over to the rabbit and hugged it to death. I sighed and sat next to him. I took the rabbit and held it too my chest. I am not letting my bestfriend kill a little bunny. Naruto glared at me in reply, i stuck out my tongue.

"Look out!" Dad yelled out.

All of a sudden a giant sword swung over our heads. I fell and the rabbit bounced off. I stood up to see a man wearing nothing but blue striped pants along with cow arm and leg wear.

I slightly snickered on the inside. Why was this killer wearing cow print, not that it takes away from his badness. I'm just saying...who wears cow print!?!

"Well if it isn't Zabuza Momochi, rogue ninja from the village Hidden in the Mist" stated my dad, I peeked out from behind him to get a better look at Zabuza.

I heard footsteps and saw Naruto running. I stood in front of him giving him a warning look.

"Naruto, you're going to get in the way. Zabuza is not like those other ninja" I stated. Naruto only gave me his famous 'i want to fight' looks.

"Kakashi of the Sharingan eye, did i get that right?" Zabuza questioned, "It's too bad, but you're going to have to hand over the old man"

I growled, "Not over my dead body"

Zabuza moved his attention over to me, a shiver from his gaze ran down my spin. But I didn't show my fear, I learned never to show weakness to anyone.

"Interesting, your the grand daughter Hokage of the Hidden Leaves. It's an honor of meeting the Flame of the Hidden Leaf" Zabuza smirked

"The rest of you get in Manji formation. I taught you team work now use it" Dad commanded. Dad slowly lifted up his mask. He opened his eye and the Sharingan shined brightly.

"Kitsune stay back, I can not have you getting hurt. Cover your team and protect Tazuna" Dad stated. Everyone gasped looking at his eye.

"What a honor to see the sharingan in action" Zabuza said.

"Everyone keeps saying Sharingan can someone please tell me what it is" whined Naruto.

"It's a rare power that works in the eyes. The user of this jutsu is able to see through any genjutsu, taijutsu, and ninjutsu. Then they can reflect the jutsu back on their opponent. This is a rare form a dojutsu. However, there is more to the jutsu" explained Sasuke.

I tilted my head and looked at my father's eye. So this strange jutsu can do all of that. Man was he one only man to have something as powerful as that.

"You go that right kid but you only scratched the surface" Zabuza stated, "It can also read and analyze an opponent's technique then copy it to the smallest detail"

With that a fog started to form around us. Causing everything around us to be nothing but a blur of color. I narrowed my eyes at Zabuza.

"That's enough I need to execute this old man" Zabuza said before vanishing into the mist. Reappearing on the river next to us.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura formed a circle around Tazuna on all sides. I stood next to my father holding one of my kunai in my hands. I narrowed my eyes at this man.

Just then I saw him building up a lot of chakra. Causing the fog to get even thicker than it already was. I sent chakra to my eyes so I was able to see everyone's chakra through the thick fog.

"Kitsune, get close to squad seven. Remember what I told you before we left" Dad commanded.

I nodded and followed their chakra. I stood near my squad scanning the area. I could hear him talking but his talk was just crap.

"Now which will be my kill point" His voice rang through the fog.

Everyone was up on their toes. Including me since I had a big job to fill. I looked over at Sasuke as my dad focused his chakra.

"Sasuke don't worry, I am going to protect you. Along with your squad will not let anything happen to you" Dad said. Sasuke stopped and so did everyone else.

I felt the air move and I appeared in front of Zabuza holding his sword back with my kunai. I had made a couple of shadow clones, and they pushed everyone out of the way. My dad then came in for the final blow.

I went next to Naruto and helped him up. I then went back to watching the fight. Blow after blow, Zabuza and my father kept it up. Dad's sharingan eye was able to watch every. My dad held a kunai against Zabuza's neck.

"Your finished" Dad stated.

Everyone seemed a little at ease with the state they were in. I smiled a bit but something about this situation was unsettling in my gut. Zabuza laughed at my father.

"Nice try Kakashi, but i can not be finished so easily" Zabuza said. A clone appeared behind my father as the first one disappeared.

Zabuza then kicked my father away from him. Every gasped and I growled deeply. I held my kunai tightly in my hand. Then all of a sudden Zabuza jumped into the water where he stood before. My father then came out of the water. I started towards the water then I was stopped . Zabuza appeared right above my father.

"Water prison Jutsu!"A water prison soon appeared around my father and Zabuza held it with his hand. Shivers soon ran down my spin at the sight before me.

"So much for the great Kakashi, this water prison is stronger than steel. It's hard to move, isn't it Kakashi. I'll finish you off later, now it's time to end your little friends"

Zabuza then created a water clone. I watched as another figure appeared before us. I took my stance and stood in front of my squad. No way is momo man getting anywhere near my squad. Not over my dead body.

Zabuza's clone then disappeared into the mist. I quickly looked around then I see Naruto fly through the air. Along with his head band.

"Naruto!" I screamed. I appeared by his side, growling with my tail shifting. I looked at my father and then back at the real Zabuza.

"Listen to me, grab the bridge builder and run. You can't win this fight, because he is using all his chakra to keep me in this prison. He can only fight using his clone, get far enough and you will be safe" Dad said, "Kitsune keep them together.I am making you the leader of this mission, now run"

I shook my head, "I'm not leaving without you dad!"

"Now then, Flame of the leaf your next" Zabuza's voice rang in my ears. I gasped and turned around but I was too slow. Zabuza kicked me and I ended up hitting a tree. I slowly sat up coughing out blood.

"Kitsune!" shouted Sakura and Naruto. I looked at them, and stood up. I started walking towards the clone holding my bruised arm. I growled and narrowed my eyes.

I vanished and reappeared behind the clone. I sent a kick towards his head, he dodged it while swinging his sword at me. I jumped back throwing kunais at him forming a hand sign. The kunai multiplied, Zabuza used his sword to block it.

Then out of nowhere Sasuke went towards Zabuza. He ran towards him throwing shurikens at him. Zabuza blocked it then grabbed Sasuke by his neck, and threw him to the ground.

"Sasuke!" I shouted, I turned and looked to see Zabuza in front of Naruto once again.

"NARUTO!!!!""

Naruto Pov (STUFF IS ABOUT TO GET REAL)

I watched has Zabuza kicked Kitsune into a tree. I shouted out to her but wanting to know if she was alright. She slowly stood up and held her arm. Her eyes shifted towards me, and she slightly smiled before fighting Zabuza.

I couldn't let her do this alone. Just as I was about to get up Kitsune got sent flying once again. The Sasuke went out and fought as well. That powerful man got him and took him down to.

I turned in front of me to see him standing there, giving me the death glare. I tried to get up but i landed on my wounded hand. Suddenly pain erupted from it and I held it.

Then I remember that I was a ninja now. The pledge I made on this wound shows that I will never give up my dream. I will become Hokage, and I will show everyone who Naruto Uzumaki is.

I stood up slowly and stook my stance. I gave him my smirk and glare. I looked at Kitsune showing her I was not going to give up. But then he appeared directly in front of me, holding the sword.

"NARUTO!!!!!" Kitsune shouted.

I closed my eyes waiting for the impact, their was none. I opened them and gasped. Kitsune was standing right in front of me holding back the sword. I felt a deep power coming from Kitsune. Her tail was a lot busher and her nails were longer. Then i noticed her eyes, they had changed from their normal red to a deep orange with a black diamond as her pupil.

She turned her head towards me, and gave me her famous Kitsune smile. "I promised didn't I Naruto? That promise I said to you before we left the village. I will protect you and the rest of my squad. Nobody gets left behind"

I smiled in reply but my face turned serious. I stood up ignoring the pain in my hand and got ready. I nodded towards Kitsune. In reply her smile faded and it turned into a frown.

She put both of her hands onto the clones sword and sent him flying back. I ran next to Kitsune, and looked at her.

"Naruto, remember that secret jutsu we were working on as kids. I think we should use it now" She said.

"But we never finish it! Do you think it's going to work" I asked back.

"Trust me Naruto, it's going to work" Kitsune replied.

"Alright"

Kitsune raised her hand began to focus her chakra. I began to do the same thing. I let my chakra flow calmly until I was ready to release. I opened my eyes and looked at Kitsune.

"You ready Naruto"

"I'm ready"

Kitsune grabbed my hand and our chakra started to connect to one another, then we used our free hands to form the hand signs together. I could tell everyone was impressed. We then formed the last hand sign. Kitsune's hand started sparking, and the wind started to pick up behind us. We turned still holding the hand sign at Zabuza.

"Sparking Wind Storm jutsu!" we shouted.

Just as we said the following words, the jutsu shot out towards Zabuza clone and the the real one. The wind spun faster and the lightning around it started sparking like crazy.

Then the jutsu hit and a big explosion took place. Kitsune and I were both panting like crazy but we smiled in the end.

Normal Pov

I watched as the jutsu was sent flying towards Zabuza. I smiled at Naruto, and he grinned back at me. I looked towards the group to see if everyone was okay. Everyone was staring at us, but in a good way.

"Naruto go check on them, and I'll go see if Kakashi is okay" I said.

Naruto nodded and ran off. I ran through the mist to see my father standing on the water trying to regain himself. He looked towards me and nodded. I sighed in relief. Dad appeared by my side, looking a head. I followed his eyes to see Zabuza still standing there, but he looked hurt.

" I gotta say, your not that bad. But this is going to be your last fight" Zabuza stated, placing his hand on his sword.

The out of nowhere three needles appear from thin air and hit Zabuza in the neck. His body then fell over. I wasn't the only one that saw this. I looked up into the trees to see a boy wearing mask.

The boy chuckled, "I can see this was his last battle"

Dad vanished and landed near Zabuza's non moving corpse. He was checking to see if Zabuza had a pulse. Zabuza wasn't going to move.

"No vital signs" Dad said.

"Thank you, I have been tracking Zabuza for a long time. Now I have finally found him.

"By your mask I can tell, you're a tracker ninja from the village hidden in the mist" Dad explained with narrowed eyes.

"Very good, you're very smart" said the boy.
