Gonna start out by saying that I plan on reading the rest of this later, just getting my review in now before I forget. So I highly enjoyed reading that, your characters are so likable! My favorite things so far are Leo's dialog and Avery being adorable. I am interested in seeing why Alice is so bent on pushing people away, she seems like she's a nice person, but I can tell she is deeply troubled.
Another thing is that I feel like your writing has improved greatly since reading Our Love, you've really come far! Overall, great read. I am highly enjoying it and shall continue to do so till I reach the end.

I loved the detail in the first three chapters. It was well thought out and executed well. I am glad that Mistress Tiff put in the negative effect that telepathic and empathic abilities have on the character.
I have read a few stories where the main character is empathic and uses the gift to gets what she wants and piggyback on pleasurable feelings of others. This particular author didn't show the sadness in their world.
When Alice's friend was crying she begged her not to cry she felt the emotion so strongly not only because she was sad too. I cannot wait to see the relationship build between her and the mouthwatering man-candy.
Great job! ♡

I have currently read a total of 11 chapters of this wonderful story! I must say, I adore the well-written dialogue between the MC and her friends, you can feel the attitude and frustrations of each of them. Well done!!
I wish I had more time to read and write but I will get back to this one and soon I hope!
The mystery surrounding why her brother is the only one who thinks her neighbor is bad news encourages the reader to keep reading to learn more. The way she astro-projects into his room the first time was amazing! So thrilled she has found someone to teach her how to use her powers and now control them as well!!! I hope her brother has the same type of success when he meets the woman helping the MC.
All in all, this has got to be one of my new favorite books on this site!!!

I've already given ClarityNMercy some feedback about the early chapters of The Promised, but I can happily say now that I have finished the full book. My earlier enthusiasm for the novel still stands; the characters are lively and engaging, the portrayal of Alice's abilities is great, and I like the tension between Avery and Alice.
After reading through the full story, there are a couple of things that I would love to see more of (and here is me nitpicking). I feel like there is so much lore and stuff that goes into this, so introducing more stuff such as types of demons, their abilities, classifications, and so on would be a great way to help ease the reader into the world of the Order of the Sun a little easier. I know that it will likely be explored in the next one, but a little more in the first would be awesome.
I would also love to see some more scenes building Alice's relationship with the other members of the orders, similar to the healing of Trevor one and training ones. At least for the core members. Given the timeline of the alignment I know that there isn't much time, and things like danger, adrenalin, and emotional intensity can easily deepen relationships, I still would like to have seen more time spent on this part. Especially with just how loved up Avery and Alice are (total heart-eyes emoji moment there, they are gorgeous).
All together though, it is a great novel. It is an excellent mix of adventure, paranormal, and sweetness with a heck of a lot of steamy content thrown in. There were times when I was yelling at the book (spoiler: Avery and the damn supply closet), and others where I was freaking out (not gonna spoil this one, but I think my in-line comments covered it). I am IN LOVE with the ending, and can't wait to read more.

The Promise is a story that follows Alice. A woman with the ability to read minds. Some demonic ritual and spirits from the other world ties into this story nicely. So far, Alice has confessed her strong feelings to Avery, a mysterious, strange guy who has his eyes set on Alice. I'm guessing that the story will touch further on Alice and her brother's past and her crazy parents making a reappearance. All and all, the story kept me entertained and I would read more stories like it.

I didn't have any expectation before reading this book, but after reading chapter one, I did expect more of a comical direction instead of the serious dark one. Nevertheless, I like the direction it's going. With her reading minds, I just thought there would be something comical happening.
The Promise is an intriguing plot that draws a reader in pretty quickly.
The writing style makes reading easy. I like the supernatural aspect given to Alice. It makes her stand out as a character. I'm not a big fan of Avery because I simply don't trust his good guy front. I would like to know more about Max, Alice's brother, and his struggles with his abilities, but the story follows Alive which I'm ok with too.
I thought the dialogue exchanges was good from what I've read. I didn't see anything that could be improved upon. I personally will be reading this whole story as I'm curious about the ending and Alice's connection to the otherworld and Satan.

I'm not sure what I can say that you don't already know ;) I love this book. The plot is great – funny, sweet, hot, and compelling. The characters you created were all awesome in their own way. While I'm definitely team Avery/Alice, I liked the whole part with Trevor as well. That scene where she calms him down when he was injured was so intense! I would have loved a little more action (outside the bedroom of course ;) ), but it all worked well.
My favorite character is and always will be Fritz, though. As I'm a sucker for epilogues, I gotta say this one is epic. It was a pleasure to read, and I am looking forward to the sequel.

I loved this story from the very beginning.
This book gave me a real case of whodunit. I kept trying to figure out who was the bad guys. I loved that the author was able to get me invested enough to care. I also loved that she kept me guessing.
The story line was twisted and dark and executed beautifully. The author brought the characters to life including their flaws. There where those you rooted for and those you wanted based things to happen to.
I'm sorry I can't think of any way to improve this story except publishing part 2. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

I wanna start off by saying how awesome this book is! Unlike other books I've read in this genre, the concept is completely unique and fresh.
You have such a nice flow to your writing style once I start reading I didn't want to stop. Each character is relatable, and problems along their journey different from the other.
My favorite part about this book is how much I loved Alice by the end. She completely changed into a badass by the end! I mean, that final dream was HOT!!
The only thing I wish you would have detailed a little more on is the battle, and their father. But I have a feeling all will be revealed about the father in the second book!
Your book is superb, madam! Keep up the amazing work. You definitely have an amazing talent! Can't wait until the next one and learning more about Demon Cat. Haha!
~Callie
I read this book a while ago and was immediately engrossed in it. I loved the character Alice and I even though I don't have supernatural powers like she does, I was able to relate to her experiences. She felt so real that I felt an instant connection with her. I love the bond that she had with her brother. I too have a strong bond with my brother so that resonated with me.
The romance was so sweet and wonderful and realistic that I found myself rooting for them even when things got complicated. As a writer, you are amazing and I can totally see your work on Amazon and heck...I can see it in bookstores. You are talented and I think that if you keep doing what you are doing you are going to be successful. I love your work and I love this story. In fact, I hated that it ended and would love to see this converted into a series. There are so many possibilities. You go!

Allister Hale's Story Graveyard.
You've tried to write a story yes? So have I, Many times. I get a good vibe going, type a few pages worth of content then reach the point it gets the tiniest bit hard. Thing is, some of those stories are good, the kind of good that gets people excited and then disapointed when they cut off abruptly and without warning before fifteen chapters. So content Warning, none of theese little stories come to any kind of conclusion. A couple are just different attempts at the same idea (some with the same characters no less)They are also raw and uneddited, and no i wont be fixing them.I don't think any of them deserve any additional content warnings, as I'm not interested in writting those sorts of stories, but please read with caution.
