《Just One Night (MC Romance)》Twelve

Maddie and Jude had spent the last week enjoying being engaged, they even started planning the wedding, only the small details so far, but they have decided to get married after the baby is born, Maddie wanted to feel pretty in her dress, not that she didn't feel pretty now, but she wanted to look back at the pictures and show them to the baby when she grows up without having to explain everything.

Jude agreed, well, he was just going along with whatever she wanted, which is okay too, but he did decide that since it was after the baby is born, and she won't be pregnant anymore, instead of taking a limo to the hotel they were going to be staying at after the wedding, they were taking his motorcycle, which was a scary thought, she had never been on one, and never really planned to try it, but Jude insisted on it, and his club brothers were going to be escorting them to the hotel. Katie had offered to watch the baby over night so they could stay at the hotel alone, which was nice.

"Maddie." She heard someone interrupting her daydream, she had been laying down trying to take a nap for an hour, she was really tired these days.

She looked over to see Jude. "You okay?" He asked as he slipped on his combat boots.

"Yeah. Just tired." She whispered.

"Well, it's about time to leave for the carnival, I thought you were ready to go." He said with a smile as he leaned down to kiss her.

She kissed him back, before sighing.

"Do we have to go?" She asked. All she knew was that the whole club was going to 'show their support for the community'. That's all Jude would tell her about it.

"Yes, we're leaving in ten minutes, even if you're in those cute little shorts you sleep in." He said with a smirk as he picked up the keys for his bike.

"Katie is riding on Mac's bike, but Ali is driving a few girls in her car, you're going with them." He said before leaving the room.

Maddie got up and changed into a coral sun dress with a pair of matching wedges.

"I can't even go on any rides." Madide whined as they walked through the large carnival downtown.

Jude shook his head. "Well, even if you weren't pregnant, you still couldn't in that dress." He told her with a smirk.

She rolled her eyes. "Well, I only wore the dress because I knew that I wasn't going to get to go on any of the rides." She said with a pout as she watched Katie, Mac and a couple of the other guys get on 'The Spinster' a was a roller coaster that had seats that spin!!! Something she would love to go on if she could.

"Will you stop pouting if we go get a funnel cake?" He asked her with a smirk.

She immediately stopped pouting. "Yes!!!" She yelled, causing even more eyes to turn to them. They already had people staring, I mean, what kind of motorcycle club goes to a carnival to go on rides and eat funnel cake? Nine that she had ever heard of.

He shook his head. "Okay, let's go." He said, laughing at how excited she was over it.

After eating more than half of the funnel cake they were supposed to be sharing, Maddie and Jude walked around for another two hours while everyone went on rides. Maddie and Jude played games for a while, but Maddie had to sit down, all this walking around was getting to her. She was more than ready to go home and take a nap.

After the third time of using the gross restrooms at the carnival, Maddie had had it. It seemed like the last couple weeks, she had to go every half an hour, and she refused to stand in line for twenty minutes to use some germy plasic bathroom.

"Can we please go now? We have been here for three hours, and I am not standing in that line for a fourth time to use that nasty bathroom." She siad softly.

He looked at the time on his phone. "Not yet babe, the club is about to meet with some guys about club stuff, out in the parking lot, you and the girls stay here, when we're done, we';ll go home." He told her wrapping his arms around her, as the guys walked over. Jude nodded to them. "He's out in the back parking lot." He said, before leaning down to kiss her. "It shouldn't be too long, maybe half an hour, an hour tops." He said to her before starting to walk off with the guys.

She grabbed his arm. "Wait, why can't I just go home with the girls now? I'm tired and I don't want to walk around anymore." She said, sighing.

"Because I want you here, not at the club house, no one is there right now." He said to her. He rolled his eyes as she glared at him. "Madelyn, stay here, find a place to sit and talk with the girls, get something to eat or whatever, when we're done, we can go home." He said, taking out his wallet and handing her a few bills. She rolled her eyes at how inconsiderate he was being, maybe it was just the hormones, but she was angry, tired, and felt he was being completely unfair with the situation.

Jude rolled his eyes as she walked away. He stuffed the money back into his wallet, he nodded over to Katie, who nodded, the silent agreement to keep an eye on his finace while he was gone clear in their exchange.

Maddie walked off, angrily and found a bench to sit on near the kids area of the carnival. The rides were smaller. She sat on the bench, looking at her phone when she noticed someone sit down next to her. She looked up to see a guy from her her Chemistry class. "Hey, you're Maddie, right? We have Chem together?" He asked with a smile. He was cute, tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was skinny, hardly any muscel at all, but still cute.

"Yeah, Noah?" She asked, remembering a girl going on and on about how cute he was last week during class.

"Yeah, I saw you had a fight with your boyfriend, I just thought I would come and make sure you're okay, those guys. They're dangerous. I've heard things about them. Bad things." He said, looking around nervously as he said it, as if he were nervous that Jude was going to jump out from behind something and attack him.

"Yeah, everything is fine. I just want to go home." She said, sighing. "Thanks for checking on me Noah, but I'm fine." She said with a small smile.

Noah nodded. "Well, I could give you a ride home if you want, I was about to leave anyway." He told her with a smile.

"I really appreciate it, Noah, but I think I'll wait for Jude, he would be worried if I left without letting anyone know." She said, leaving out the part about Jude being pissed if she left with another guy.

Noah nodded. "Okay, well, no offense, but you're boyfriend should have taken you home if you didn't want to be here anymore, instead of walking off with his gang." He said, frowning at her.

"He's my fiance, and it isn't like that, he's meeting someone, then he is taking me home. I appreciate you're concern, Noah, but I am perfectly fine, I don't need a ride, and I don't think Jude would like me taking one from you anyway." She said softly, as she stood up from the bench.

Katie ran over. "Someone called Jude and told him you were flirting with some guy, he is on his way and he pissed, Maddie." Katie said, bending over to try to catch her breath.

"Shit." Maddie whispered.

"You have to go, now." She said, pushing Noah gently.

"No, there's not enough time for him to go, he was right behind me." Katie said, looking around, right then, Jude turned the corner with Mac, Bingo and Alex right behind him, probably to keep him form hurting Noah. It was a scary sight to see Jude that mad.

Maddie walked over to him, meeting him half way. "I wasn't flirting with him. I- I was upset and he-" Jude cut her off, grabbing her arm gently.

He walked over to Noah, dragging her along with him. Noah looked terrified, as he should.

"Do you not see the ring on her finger?" He asked, grabbing Maddie's hand and lifting it up to show off the sparkling engagement ring.

"I know you saw us arguing earlier, I saw you. You thought you would just swoop in try to take her home with you?" He asked.

"N-No, I know Maddie from school, I was just checking on her." He said, shaking his head.

"You think I would leave her without protection?" He asked, letting out a laugh. "Dino's been within hearing range the whole time." He said, nodding to the guy standing less than ten feet away from them. She had seen him at the club house before, how had she not noticed him standing there, not that it really mattered, she didn't do anything wrong.

"I- I was just making sure she was okay and that she had a ride home, we have classes together, that's all." He said, holding his hands up, nervously.

"Jude, leave him alone, you were being an ass and he came to check on me, that's all." She said angrily.

Jude looked over at her, with a glare, before turning his attention back to Noah. "If I ever find out you hae been talking, or even looking at my girl, I'm going to pay you a visit, and trust me, you don't want that to happen." Jude said, threateningly. Noah nodded, giving Maddie one last timid smile before turning and walking... Well, almost running off.

"Lets go, now." Jude said, taking Maddie's hand. They walked to the car the girls drove in, and he opened the door for her.

"See you at home." He said before leaning down and kissing her. He walked over to his biked, revved the engine and took off with the rest of the guys following him.

She couldn't wait for the conversation they were going to have to have about this.
