A/N There has been a two month time skip between the last chapter and this one.
November 1st -Four Months and three days pregnant.
"Yes." Maddie said excitedly at the same time Jude said 'No' from where he stood next to where she laid on the bed at the doctors office.
Maddie looked up at him, shocked. "What? We have to know. I'm four months, they said we can find out today." She said softly, wondering why Jude didn't want to know if they were having a boy or a girl.
"It should be a surprise." He said, shrugging.
"But how will we know what to name it, or to buy pink or blue stuff?" She asked sighing. "We can find out later, at the next visit, I want to keep it a surprise for a little longer." Jude said with a smile. "Okay, not knowing is a little fun." She said softly.
Later, on their way back to the club house, Maddie sighed, rubbing her stomach gently. "I really need to find an apartment, I can't live at the clubhouse forever, I mean, I like it there, but we're already almost halfway through the pregnancy, we need to start making a nursery and stuff." She said softly.
Jude nodded. "I know babe." He told her. "I don't want you going back to the apartment, the club is still trying to figure out who trashed it, we've talked to the neighbors, and got video from the cafe across the street, but it shows nothing, and no one saw anything. We've hit a dead end, I can't have you going back there until I figure it out." He said.
She sighed, but wasn't going to bring up yet again, that Kandy did it.

"Where are we going?" Maddie asked as Jude passed their exit to go to the club house and kept going for about a mile, before getting off of the freeway.
"You'll see." He said with a smirk as he turned onto a dirt road, then into a long, paved driveway. He pulled up to a beautiful one story house, It was white, and looked newer, and had a lot of land surrounding it. The front yard had a manicured bright green lawn.
Jude walked over and opened her door for her, helping her out.
"What do you think?" He asked her.
"It's beautiful, who lives here?" She asked.
"No one, I bought this house a couple years ago and have been fixing it up off and on. It's almost ready to live in, just have to replace a couple pipes in the bathrooms, but that's about it. Come inside." He said, taking her hand, they walked over and he pulled out a key, unlocking it and opening the door.
The inside was even more beautiful than the outside. It had shiny hardwood floors in the entry room and living room. The walls were a light grey color and it was already furnished.
"Wow." She whispered.
He walked her into the kitchen, where all new appliances sat, shiny and ready to use. The while tile floor and black granite counter tops were sparkling in the sunlight that was shining through the big window that showed off a huge back yard with a pool, and big trees, great for shading the yard. "There is three bedrooms in the back of the house." He said, pulling her gently down the hall way. He took a right and they walked into what looked like the master bedroom, it was big and had a bathroom attached.

Maddie was so busy looking around the room she didn't even notice Jude get down on one knee and take a small, black box out of his pocket.
She turned back to face him and her mouth dropped open as she gasped.
"I love you, I've loved you for a while. You're smart, and beautiful, and you don't take shit from me or any of the guys in the club. I love how you know what you want, and you go for it. I love that even when you are having horrible morning sickness, you get up and get ready, and you go to school like nothing is wrong. You don't complain about it. You're strong, and sweet, you make me laugh, and you make me mad sometimes." He paused to smirk at her. "I love you, even though you can be stubborn and don't listen, and I love you even when you get mad at me for no reason, which has happened twice in the last week by the way, not that I am counting... And I will always love you. Madelyn Allison Valentine, will you marry me?" He asked, as Maddie stood there, with silent tears falling down her face.
She nodded, unable to speak for a few seconds. She finally choked out a yes, and he stood up, wrapping his arms around her and twirling her around.
Maddie laughed, shaking her head. "We're getting married." She said, smiling so big her cheeks hurt.
"Yes, we are." He said, he set her down and took the ring out of the box. It was beautiful. It sparkled, even in the dim light of the bedroom. It was big, but not so big that it wasn't tasteful. It square shaped diamond sat in a platinum setting with two, smaller, just as sparkly diamonds on either side.
He slipped it onto her ring finger and it fit perfectly. She stared at it, and the feeling was explainable. She felt like she was on top of the world.
"I love you." She whispered, looking up at Jude, who smiled down at her. "I love you too." He whispered. "And as soon as I fix the pipes, we're going to move in here, and start fixing up the baby's room. It should only take me a week or two to replace the pipes in the bathroom." He told her.
She smiled, nodding excitedly.
"I have to go call my mom." She said with a smile.
He nodded. "Okay, but then, we're going home." He said with a smirk. She knew that look.
"Can't wait." She said with a smile. She kissed him before going off to make he phone call.

Because even if I don't want too that's not really how fate works, is it? You don't pick and choose fates plan, you get slammed with it and good luck to your poor soul. This is my story, the kind that was written years before I was even born, and now I'm living it. Watch me make a mess of it too, because after all, I wasn't born to follow. P.S. This book is technically #1, but I have a book before this one that's about their parents. You learn more, and get a clue about their parents and why they are the way they are. Some of the conversations in this book would make more sense by knowing the past. It's not as well written, but if you can get thought it, I promise you'll love this one even more. Of course if you rather start here, then you do you! It will make sense either way! I tired to fill in all the gaps without it getting overbearing. You can always hop back to the book before this after.
