Maddie got her duffle bag out of the closet and looked around, picking up clothes off of the floor to pack. After about a half an hour of packing, she was ready to go. She walked downstairs to see Mac and Katie arguing in the living room.
"I'm not going, I'll go to my parents' house across town." She said, crossing her arms.
"Katie, come on, just come to the club house, for a few days at least while we figure this out." Mac said, starting to sound annoyed.
Katie stared at him, she was starting to crack, Maddie knew that look well. "Fine, but only for a few days." She said before stomping up to her room.
"That girl is going to drive me crazy." Mac said to Jude
"Wow, man. You got it bad." Jude said, smirking. "Looking whose talking." Mac grumbled back.
He walked outside, lighting a cigarette.
Maddie walked into the living room and sighed. "Fine, I'm ready." She whispered.
Jude looked up as she walked in and walked over to her. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek. "Babe, I just want to keep you safe. You're safer there." He said to her.
She sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I'm not upset that you're making me to stay with you. I'm mad because I know that Kandy did this and you don't believe me." She whispered.
He sighed. "We aren't going through this again. She has been home all day, she hasn't left, it wasn't her Maddie." he said, running a hand through his hair angrily.
"Then she had someone help her. I know this was her." She said.
Jude glared at her. "That's enough. End of conversation." he said taking her duffle bag. "Let's go, Katie and Mac will meet us at the club house." He said, taking her hand and walking out to his jeep with her.

He opened her door for her, put her bag in, then got into the car and drove them to the club house, it was a short, but silent ride, both of them were angry.
Once they got to the club house, Maddie and Jude walked inside, Maddie glaring at Jude's back as he walked in front of her, carrying her bag.
Maddie sighed when they got to his bedroom. He sat her duffle bag on the bed and turned to face her. "I have a meeting, I'll be back later." He said. "A meeting about what?" She asked him, walking over to sit on the bed.
"A meeting with the rest of the club to fil them in on what happened at your house." He said, before walking out and slamming the door behind him.
Why was he so upset that she accused Kandy?
Kandy did attack her, and didn't like her from the moment they met.
She ran a hand through her hair, pacing back and forth, frustrated. She couldn't believe she was here in the same house as Kandy, she had a feeling deep in her stomach that she was right, and that Kandy was behind breaking into her house.
She paced around for over an hour, until her feet hurt, then she finally picked up her duffle bag and walked out of the bedroom, the guys were still in a meeting, so she would just text Jude later.
"Hey, where are you going?" Katie asked, walking over her.
"I'm going to my Aunts or something. I'm not staying here with that crazy-" She was interrupted by the sound of the big, heavy door of the meeting room opening.
"Where are you going Maddie?" Jude asked, walking toward her, looking angry.
"I'm not staying here, I refuse to stay here and have to see her, and you keep defending her. I'm going to stay with my aunt." She said, shrugging.
"No. you're not, it's safer for you here, where I can protect you." He said, crossing his arms.

Maddie rolled her eyes. "She's playing you, maybe she didn't go to my house and destroy everything, but she was behind it. I know she was Jude. And you don't believe me, and I am supposed to just trust you and stay here, when I know it was her? I don't think so. I'm leaving." She said, opening the front door and walking out. She slammed the door behind her.
She heard the door open and the loud footsteps of Jude behind her, but she refused to look back, or stop to talk to him. She had made up her mind, she was going to walk to the bus stop a few blocks down, go to her Aunt's house, and figure out the rest later. If she stopped to talk to him about it, he would convince her to go back to the club house, and she really didn't want to.
"Maddie." Jude called.
"Maddie, wait. Let me just talk to you." He said, sounding closer. She kept walking, but Jude caught up to her and lightly took hold of her arm. "Hey, wait a minute, just let me talk to you, and if you still want to leave, I'll drive you to your aunt's house." He told her, sounding sincere.
"Fine." She whispered.
"What do I have to do to get you to stay Mads?" He asked her, looking down at her, gently moving her bangs out of her face. His hand gently caressed her cheek,
"I want you to stay here." He whispered.
"I'm not staying here as long as Kandy is here." She said, shaking her head.
Jude sighed. "Fine, I'll make her leave, Maddie, if you will stay I will make her leave, right now." He told her.
She ran a hand through her hair. "I don't know. I'm mad at you Jude. You are not on my side, how many times have I told you that I know it was her?" She asked. He sighed.
"Fine, you think it was her, I'll look into it again, let's go back inside, please, it's cold out here I don't want you to get sick." He said to her.
She nodded.
"If you don't make her leave, Jude, I'm leaving and I won't be coming back." She said as they walked into the house.
He nodded. "She'll be out by dinner time." He said. "Why don't you go to my room, while I go tell her to leave?" He asked her.
Maddie nodded, and she and Katie went upstairs, they had a lot to talk about.
---
"Wait, she hit you? You better have hit her back!!! Where is she? I'll-" Katie said, flinging the door to the bedroom open. Both girls paused when they saw one of the 'prospects' standing outside of the door.
"You guys need to stay in the room." He said with a small smile.
Now that the door was open, they could hear the yelling, cussing and name calling that Kandy was doing, they heard glass shatter.
"Come on, Katie." Maddie whispered, pulling Katie back into the room.
The girls hung out in the bedroom for an hour, before Jude walked in. "Hey, Katie, Mac if waiting for you downstairs." He said. Katie got up, hugged Maddie, and left.
Maddie looked up at him, and he smiled at her. "She won't be coming back." He said to her, sitting down next to her. "Let's take a nap before dinner." He said, sighing, pulling her onto the bed with him.
"Thank you, for making her leave." She whispered, laying her head on his shoulder.
"I would rather have you here than her, babe." He said before kissing her cheek.
