Weeks passed by again, still nothing change to our relationship, but I understand about it. While I was in the meeting, my phone suddenly light up and I see that it's a message from Mika.

Mika: Masa, are you free after office hours?

Me: Yes

Mika: Can we have a talk, I have something to discuss with you.

I start to wonder what is it.

Me: Sure, I'll pick you on your office later and

let's have a dinner too, I already made reservation.

Mika: Yeah, thank you.

After the meeting I attended, I immediately headed to her office.

Me: "Hi, is Mika inside her office?"

Secretary: "Good Afternoon Mr. Masahiro, I'm sorry but Miss Celena already left 5 minutes ago, she said she's not feeling fine so she's heading straight to her home"

I suddenly panic when I heard that she's not feeling well. Is this the reason why we need to talk? But she can just message it right?

Me: "Okay thank you"

Now, I called her but she wasn't picking up, maybe she was still driving so I drive straight to her unit to check on her. But when I arrived in her unit, I ring her doorbell and even knock but no one is responding. I use the key card she gave me but when I enter her unit, I found nothing.

I search in her unit but still not even a strand of her hair can be found.

Mika just where are you?

I call her again but still, she wasn't picking it up. I'm somewhat getting nervous... I feel like something happened but I shake off those thoughts.

Me: "Come on Masa, be positive, nothing happened to her okay, maybe she was still driving or buying food"

I called Haruka, her personal aide that currently in their mansion to ask if she was there but she said she was not there.

As I drive to the place where I hope I can find her, I call Kiyoharu and Kaede but she was not with them too. I called everyone who are close to her except for the last person who may know where I can find her.

Calling Ishikawa Yuki...

Yuki: "Moshi moshi?"

Me: "Yuki! Sorry for calling you so suddenly, Is Mika with you right now?"

Yuki: "No, why you suddenly ask, I just finished my meeting with the team"

Me: "Shit... Yuki... Please help me. I think Mika was missing. I have already called all the possible people she can meet right now but they say they are not with her. When I go to her unit she was not there. I also scout the places she possibly goes but she wasn't there too. Please.. help me to find her."

He agrees to me after hanging up the phone, I was just panicking but I don't know why. I continue to go the places where I possibly find her.

After a 30 minutes, I received a call from .

Yuki: "I found her, I'll send to you the address... MIKAAAA!!!"

Me: "Yuki!? What's happening?!" - call suddenly hung up and what the hell happened? Why Yuki suddenly shouted her name?

I tried to call him back but it was busy, as I continue driving, I received a message from him saying that I should head straight to hospital address he sent to me. I immediately did what he said, I was start to get more nervous when I arrived at the hospital knowing that something happened to her.

Me: "Excuse me? Where can I find the patient who just arrived here?"

Nurse: "Oh, she was brought straight to the operating room"

WHAT?!

Me: "Thank you"

I run as fast I can just to reach the operating room but when I arrived there I see Yuki sitting on the bench while his head rested on his both palms.

Me: "Yuki!!?"

When I arrived on his front, he looks at me straight. His eyes were still wet from crying and I notice that his clothes and hands were covered with blood.

Me: "Yuki what happened?"

Yuki: " I don't know... I found her unconsciously lying there and cover with blood. She was stabbed."

Me" By who?"

Yuki: "I don't know."

The nurses had already arrived there and informed that the car also arrived in the hospital. I get his spare clothe sin his car so that he changed and clean the blood. After an hour, the doctor suddenly came out of the operating room. We both stand and we're ready to ask him a question.

Doctor: " Who's the relative of the patient?"

Yuki: "Him"

Doctor: "Sir, your relationship to the patient?"

Me: "Her fiancée."

Doctor: "That's a good thing you're here, then I'm sorry to inform you that the patient had miscarriage. Now I need your consent and sign a paper so that we can proceed to do another operation to completely remove the remaining inside her and to avoid the possible infections."

Me: "W-wait doc, what do you mean she's just had miscarriage??

Doctor: "I see... The patient as per examination was 14 weeks pregnant and unfortunately, due to the accident that happened to her, the fetus was affected too. She almost lost a lot of blood and she was hardly stabbed on her abdomen"

Yuki and I were both shocked by just what we heard.

Doctor: "The nurse will come here to for the papers you need to sign, we're going to proceed on the next operation to her. Please excuse me."

I know it was not mine. I didn't do anything to her and we're just been engaged for two months and I wouldn't dare to touch someone's woman. I looked at Yuki who was still shocked as he falls back from the seat behind him. His tears start to fall again and he was trembling now.

I feel bad for it.

It was really hard to process the fact that his child, was lost. I immediately tap his back, trying to comfort him even I know it won't help to ease the pain.

Me: "I'm sorry"

We waited for the 3 hours and now she was finally transferred to her room. Dad already arrived and now he's dealing with what happened so that everything that happened today will not leak and remains confidential. I also inform his brother about it.

I let Yuki stay on her side before he leaves again. He was going back to Italy for the contract he signed to play for Milano. At least before he leaves, everything between them settles first.

I know Mika and I have nothing but only the ring in her fingers that tie her to me. I know she was still longing for Yuki.

I don't why we have to go through all of it.

They are really for each other but the universe is still against it. They were supposed to be a family right now but everything falls into darkness.

Yuki lost her first and now he lost another precious to him.

If only I knew she was pregnant maybe I can protect her as I promised to but in the end, I failed.

How can I make her happy if I cannot even protect her?

I waited patiently on outside of her room, blankly staring at the wall in front of me. I was back on my trance when I heard the door opens besides me.

Me: "Yuki..." - I stand up from my seat.

Yuki: "I'll be leaving now. When Mika woke up, don't tell her that I came here. Please take care of her."

Me: "Yuki..."

Yuki: " I should go now before they saw me here."

He smile faintly as he's figure disappear on the hallway. *Sigh* I really don't know what is about to happen. I enter her room, seeing her still unconscious.

"You really go through a lot Mika"

4 hours have passed after was transferred to the private room. Dad already settled about what happened and his father and already visit her. About her miscarriage, dad and I decided to tell them that it was mine and so the things for her will not be complicated. But I'm still thinking about the way on how I'm going to say it to her.

"Masa?"

I immediately get up on the chair where I'm currently resting and rush into her.

Me: "Glad you're awake, I'll call a doctor to check on you" -I caress her hair as I call to the nurse station.

After the doctors and nurses leave the room...

Mika: "Masa... Can I ask you something?"

Me: "What is it?"

Mika: "The baby? Did I lose it?"

I got chills when I heard it from her. I still don't know what to respond to it since I was still thinking about how should tell her.

Me: "I'm sorry." - She just sighs and looks back to the ceiling.

Me: "When did you find out that you are pregnant??"

Mika: "Two weeks ago... I start to have symptoms and I just realized I was delayed for a couple of months. I do multiple tests to make sure about it and the results are all the same. That's why I want to talk to you. Sorry about it" - Her tears started to fall in her eyes as I start to wipe them and caress her hair again.

Me: "Shhh... don't apologize oaky, it's no one's fault."

Mika: "I'm sorry to drag you to all of my troubles."

Me: "Don't worry about it. Okay, everything will be fine. Now stop crying"

I lay beside her so that I can comfort her and give her a peck on her forehead to calm her. Tears still falling form her eyes, even though it was closed.

I may not understand the exact felling of losing life but I know it hurts. Continuing caressing her hair, taught starting to play on my head. If that child wasn't lost, what will happened to us?

Will the engagement will be forcedly call-off?

Will she be ending up with Yuki?

I think I should stop thinking about it right now. From now on I should do my best to protect and make her happy.

Mika: "Masa"

Me: "What?"

Mika: "I want to take my next surgeries in the U.S."
