《Letting Go | Masahiro Yanagida》Chapter 3

Weeks passed again and right now we're on the situation of going to the metropolitan gym to watch Mika's competition.
As we enter the hall we are escorted to our seats and we can already hear the loud music and crowd clapping from the main hall. I was aware of her sports because the university I attended has this kind of club, but I'm not aware that it was really a luxurious one. Like, there's a VIP seat for the VIPs. The setting of the venue is like you are really in a luxurious hotel and all are required to at least wear formal or semi-formal attire.
Once we reach our seats, I got chills and I froze at what I see. I was mesmerized as I see her dancing with grace and no doubt that they are the undefeated champion.
Me: "It was a pretty luxurious sport."
Yuji: "Yeah, I didn't expect to be this elegant and luxurious too"
On their third dance, the tension inside got higher.
Taichi: "They really improved a lot. They are 10 times no a hundred times better than their last competition"
Yuji: "Really!??"
As they are dancing, I admit that I can't really take my eyes off her. We also heard some conversation behind us like Mika-san and her partner are in a relationship. I look at Yuki who frowned after he hear it.
Me: "Are they really in a relationship Taichi?"
Taichi: "No they are not" - We all look at Yuki since we all knew that Yuki is rooting for her.
Yuki: "Huh? Nani?"
Me: "Nothing, but don't worry, it's safe" *chuckles*
And two more dances, the finals were ended. All the competitors were still smiling even though they are really exhausted. After a short break, the winners are finally announced, and yes, they are still the undefeated champions.

After the awarding, we headed backstage where the competitors' rooms are. We had a back-stage pass. Before we arrived in their room, they are just getting back to their room too with a bunch of bouquets in their hand.
Mayu and the others immediately greeted her we greeted her when it's our turn.
As we enter their room, the exchange of conversations starts and started to fill with flowers and gifts too. Actually, the two became busier as a lot of people came to their room, asking for a photo and autographs.
After their competition, Mika treated us to the restaurant. His partner slash best friend, Kiyoharu asks about going to Osaka.
Kiyoharu: "I've also invited you guys if you want too"
Me: "Oh, I really want to but I have an appointment tomorrow."
Yuji: "Me too, maybe next time"
Mayu: "I have an errand with my friends too, I think nii-chan has nothing to do this next few days right?"
Yuki: "Huh?"
Me: "Oh yeah that's right you said to me earlier that you have nothing to do this next few days, and we have a one-week break too right?"
Kaede: "So it's decided!"
Yuki: "Wa-wai-wai-"
I really want to go with them to Osaka but of course, I don't want to ruin Yuki and Mika's time there. I was hoping that Yuki will finally tell his feeling for her. At first, he didn't want to admit that he was really in love with her until I ask him a question.
"Will you be okay if you see her happy with a guy"
Well, he said he will be okay but I know he will take it back.
I really want to know what will happen during their trip but for now, I think I should start to prepare for the urgent meeting with my family.

Home of Laplace
I opened my eyes to an unfamiliar mountain peak standing tall above me like seeing a skyscraper from the street. Soon the chilling burn of the snow that covered me began to invade my senses and I flung my torso upward, sitting up straight. I grabbed my head in confusion as my eyes surveyed the area around me: The corner of a mountain wall stood menacingly in front of me accompanied by thin, dangerous looking paths on either side. The likes of which only adrenaline-seeking psychopaths would use. I turned my head backwards and felt my heart drop as what looked like an infinitely long freefall met my gaze. I was sitting on the ledge of a snow-covered mountain. "CRKKKK" A heart-shaking croaking sounded from above me further up the mountain and I jolted backwards at the impossibly loud sound. 'Shit, wasn't there nothing behind me?' The sound of cracking stone accompanied the heart dropping sensation of descension. As I plunged down backwards, the last thing I saw was the deep-set brown eyes of that blue-skinned monstrosity further up the mountain. ----------------------------------------------------- Levi Laplace is a former genius biochemistry student that died a simple and laughable death on earth. Black Carbon
It has been eighteen years since the Goron Empire invaded earth, enslaving all of humanity—or whatever is left of it. Ethan wants to change the fate of humans from inside the system. Three days after Ethan’s and Della’s father is forcibly banished, they separate to go on their own journeys. Will they meet again, despite following completely different paths? And if they do, will they be friends or foes? 1) It's a dual MC novel -- there are always 2 PoVs in every chapter (Ethan and Della). 1k~2k words for each PoV.2) It's soft sci-fi. I will explain world-building in the best way that I can, but it's not necessarily explainable by physics.

The Tears of Kas̆dael
It was just supposed to be a game. A really, really great game, yes - but a game. Instead, Jasper got his heart ripped out by a brooding goddess and awoke to find himself in another world. No weapons, no skills. Naked. Trapped in a world full of ancient horrors, where gods and monsters still roam the earth, Jasper is forced to adapt quickly or die - and he's not ready to die. Good thing he's a mage. This is a high-fantasy novel with light LitRPG elements. It's not super-crunchy, but the system is an important part of the story. There is some light cursing and gore, but this is not a Grimdark novel. There will also be no harem. The current schedule is chapters on M-W-F of around 2000-2500 words, as well as occasional bonus chapters that provide background or insights into side characters. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
