' Nayeon ah. Eomma and Appa have something urgent coming but we'll come back soon. '
I woke up from my sleep and feel my sweating forehead. I looked around to make sure where I am and yes I'm in my room.
' What's that ' I mumbled as I tried to remember the scene in my dream. I can feel my head pulsing increase incredibly making me whining on the bed.
I pull my hair repeatedly to help me fade the pain away like I usually do but this time it's different. It's so hurt. I never feel this pain before. It feels like a bomb be planted in my head and waiting to be exploded.
I looked around my room to find my cellphone while my at my other hand still pulling my hair to lessen the pressure in my head.
My act stopped as I staring at the ceiling and my vision start to become blurry. I closed my eyes and arranged my shortened breathe properly before I passed out. I moved my hands around the bed to find my cellphone since I dont see it on my table.
I breathe deeply and let it go harshly while my head still feeling like to explode anytime. I can feel my certain part of my body are wet due to my sweating.
After dialed the number, I put the cellphone on my ear so I can talk to the person but unfortunately she's not answering her fucking phone.
I cursing as I tried to dial the number repeatedly but failed anyway. I tried to call the others number but no answer still.
I screamed so loudly when my head become more aching than before. My breathing become more shortened as I put hand on my chest to feel my heartbeat.
I took the cellphone that I throw on the bed back and dialed the number since I have no choice already. I cursed myself while waiting for him to answer.
' What do you need ? ' he said and greet me with his usual cold voice as soon as he picked up the call.
' 010407 ' she don't answered my question but giving me random number. ' My apartment code. Unit 3 at floor 5th ' she added and ended the call.
I looked at my cellphone to make sure she has ended the call. I staring at her name on the screen blankly since I don't know what's happening.
' Is she's drunk ? ' I mumbled and tried to dial her number back but failed since she's not answered it.
I let out a heavy sighed and went to my bed and sit on it.
' She probably drunk or what ' I said as I shook my head and throw the cellphone on my bed.
But why would she's called me if she's drunk. She never had done it before no matter what. I assumed her to be drunk since she's talking with her short breathed.
My eyes widen as I tried to remember her tone when she's called me.
I rushed exited my room and heading to downstairs as I looking for my car key.
I entered my car and drives all the way to her apartment. My finger nonstop tapping the steering wheel as my way to calm my feeling down.
As I reached there, I immediately went to the building keeper to ask for her unit since I have been forgotten about it.

' Sorry sir. We can't really - ' I cut him immediately since he looks hesitated.
' Im his boyfriend so please be hurry ' I said as he just nodded but still looking at me suspiciously.
I went to the elevator and press the 5 button like what the person told me.
I walked out as soon as the elevator opened and walked in the hallway to find her unit.
My act got stopped when I found it. I standing right in front the door but hesitated to enter it.
I took a deep breathe before entering the code that she told me and luckily i remembered it.
I pushed the door and peeked inside to see if she's around but found nothing.
' Nayeon sshi ' I called her as I walked inside the apartment as my eyes still looking around. I called her repeatedly but there's no sign she's here in the living room.
I went to the door that I assumed a room and knocked twice before opened the door. My eyes widen as soon as I caught her figure laying on the bed.
' Nayeon ? ' I called her but still not entered her room since its her privacy after all. I called her again but more louder but still she's not moved.
I sighed as I arranged my steps towards her on the bed and stared at her unconscious body.
She's wearing an outsize shirt and a short pant.
It doesn't seems like she's drunk since she's still with her casual clothes and there's no sign she's drinking here in the room.
' Nayeon ' I shook her shoulder softly to check on her. I looked at my palm that touched Nayeon just now as I feel something wet on it.
I realized that her body is sweating too much making me shook her body aggressively to let her awake but failed.
I sighed as I slap my forehead lightly when I just got the situation right now. I quickly went to her bed and lift her in bridal style since she's still remained unconscious.
I make sure to close her apartment door before heading to the elevator all the way to the parking lot. Fortunately, there's only me and Nayeon who used the elevator right now so I don't need to answer peoples questions or else they'll misunderstood at me. As soon as the elevator reached the ground floor, I immediately went out and my lucky has ended when the building keeper heading to me as soon as his eyes found me with Nayeon in my arms.
' Stop there ' he said and showed me his palm as signalled for me to stop. I sighed as I stop right in front of him.
I got the peoples eyes who just passing by looking at me weirdly.
' Can't you see her unconscious ?! ' I said and shot him with my death glare. ' I need to go to hospital ' I said in my cold tone and walked passed him not giving him chance to talk at me back.
After received the phone call, I immediately went to the hospital that Yoongi mentioned to me earlier.
' What happened ? ' I asked Yoongi as soon as I reached him who is sitting in front of a ward.
He looked up to meet my face and sighed heavily.
' What the fuck ?! Im asking you ? ' I said in my anger tone but still controlled my volume.

' I dont know ' he said and rolled his eyes at me. ' She's unconscious when I came ' he added and ignored my dumb face who are thinking about it.
' But how you got her ? ' I asked and again he's let out another heavy sighed and ignored my question. ' What about the doctor? What did they said ? ' I keep asking making he stand up from his seat and served me his usual cold face.
I can punch his face anytime I want I said to my mind .
' You should meet the doctor ' he said and ready to walk away but I stopped him immediately.
' Why dont you ? ' I asked.
He's the one who bring Nayeon to the hospital so why don't him talk to the doctor itself.
' The doctor looking for her family ' he answered me.
I looked at him deeply to find hint in his eyes but found nothing. Hoseok has been told me that Yoongi probably really fall to Nayeon already but the way he acted, I can't guess.
I just nodded at his answer and thanked him before leaving to see the doctor.
I went inside the ward to see Nayeon laying on the bed unconscious. I asked the nurse who treated Nayeon to show me the doctor's room and fortunately she did it.
I knocked repeatedly until I heard the permission from inside before entered it.
He bows at me and signalled me to sit opposite from him.
' Are you Im Nayeon's sister ? ' he asked as he took the file out and put it on the table.
I told him that I'm her friend and she's an orphan.
' What happened to her ? ' I asked .
' The implant inside her head just exploded but no need to worry, she's fine now ' he said making me looked at him clueless.
' Implant ? ' the word that came out from my mouth and he just nodded at me.
I still looked at him disbelieve with what's just he told me.
' It seems like you don't know about it ' he said as he chuckled. He then opened the file and read the contains.
' The implant has been planted in her head since she's still young, I assumed ' he explained as his eyes still on the paper.
' May I know what kind of implants that she got ? ' I braved ask even the doctor still have his eyes on the paper. I saw him nodded and looked up to see me.
' It's an implant to hide her memory ' he answered me making my eyes widen.
He explained it to me more and more making my eyes widen with every words that came out from his mouth.
' Her memory will come back soon but slowly ' the last words that the doctor told me before I excused myself from the room.
I sit on the chair that Yoongi sat before as I stared at the wall blankly.
I don't think Nayeon know about the implant in her head since she's always complained the headache thing to me. Why would they planted the implant in her head ? What's with Nayeon's memory ? Why they want to erase it or hide it from her ?
I keep thinking hard if I need to tell her about it but decided to tell her next time since she's not in a good condition still and got a bad days this lately.
Suddenly my ears caught a scream and I absolutely know who the owner is. I immediately walked inside her ward and went to her bed to calm her down.
' Calm down ' I said as I hold her body on the bed as she struggled so hard to release my grip. She's holding her head and the other hand she's pulling her own hair making me looked at her worried.
The nurse finally come with syringe in her hand. She signalled me to hold her hand so she can do her work properly and luckily she did it.
Nayeon start to stop moving and her face back to the soft one making me released a relief sighed.
' Thank you ' I said to the nurse before she excused herself from the ward.
I took the chair and placed it beside Nayeon's bed. I sit at there while watching Nayeon who is still holding her head.
' It's still hurt ? ' I asked concerned at her but she just shook her head.
' Better ' she said and sit on the bed .
' What did the doctor said ? ' she asked as her eyes fixed at me. I don't think it's the time to tell her about it so I just told her that she's got migraine.
' You called Yoongi ? He's the one who took you here ' I changed the topic as I looked at her teasingly.
She just rolled her eyes and pretended she didn't heard it.
' Where's him ? ' she asked and looked around after several minutes ignores my question making me looked at her with my annoying face.
' He's went home already ' I answered her as I took my cellphone out from the pocket.
' You should just throw you cellphone if you won't answered the call ' she suddenly said making me grinned at her guilty.
' I put my cellphone in silent ' I said and apologized to her while she just rolled her eyes at me. ' But at least you have fun when Yoongi lift - ' my word got stopped when a pillow hit me on face.
I throw the pillow back to Nayeon but she's good enough to chase it.
' You should tell him later that I already awake ' she said and throw her eyes at the window.
' Why should I ? ' I asked playfully even I know why she asked me to do so.
' He's the one who bring me here. He may - ' I immediately cut her before she finished the sentence.
' Worry ? ' I asked and looked at her playfully. ' He won't ' I added making Nayeon looked at me curiously .
' He doesn't look worry at all. He must be meet the doctor if he really care about you but he won't. He told me to do so ' I said making her face suddenly changed.
I observed her who already shut her mouth and back to lay on the bed. She's staring at the ceiling blankly.
' Am I said anything wrong ? ' I mumbled to myself but quickly shook my head.
I dont thing I got anything wrong with my words unless Nayeon really want Yoongi to feel care towards her ?

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends
In the civilized world of humans, 'monsters' have all but passed into legend. But when something goes bump in the night, when people begin to disappear, when a dark mystery begins to haunt even the most peaceful villages, there is only one organization to turn to: the Hunters. The Venatori. Having lived a life of discipline and service, former soldier Caiden Voros finds something even worse than the wars of humans: the monsters that hunt them. Horrors yet unknown even to him and his many scars await in the claws, talons, fangs, and mysterious powers of creatures so far beyond humans that he must dedicate himself entirely to the art of slaying them. Harboring a secret of his own and in a constant struggle to find answers while maintaining his sanity, however, Caiden begins to ask the age-old question... Who is truly worse, the monsters or the Men? Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends is an episodic collection of stories, each of which stand on its own, but they also build upon each other in a consecutive order, bridging a gap between a novel and short story collection. These stories follow monster hunter Caiden Voros and his partner Gwen Vergil as they embark on tales of mystery, horror, and adventure to track down monsters - the living dead, beast-men, shape-shifters, spirits, and many more - that would do harm to innocent lives and, by whatever means necessary, put a stop to their terrors. Their motives, however, are not always what they seem.
