Lily

I went to my parents house, closed the door and locked it. I didn't bother to read the letter, I just put it on the kitchen table and left it there not caring to read whatever they have written. Feeling cold I started a fire, and went to my old room to get a blanket. My room was the same, literally nothing had changed, expect for the dust. I took a blanket from my wardrobe and and took a book from my shelves. The book like the room was full of dust, I feel like I have walked in a hunted room.

I need to clean the whole house but if I cleaned it. It will take a lot of time and tomorrow I'm supposed to wake up early. The door bell door and then I remembered Liz was supposed to come and get her car. Maybe she will help.

"Hey." I said opening the door. "You're here."

"I'm here finally," she said getting in "If I stayed one more minute in that uber's car, I would have thrown up. I mean how can someone be so unhygienic."

"Tell yourself that, your room took two days to clean it." I said she just waved her hand in dismissal.

"That happened once and my room didn't smell." yeah her room didn't smell but her clothes were everywhere. Which reminds me that I need to ask her to help me.

"Liz."

"Yeah."

"You see, this house is a mess and I thought maybe you could help me little. I have to wake up tomorrow early for training and if I clean it myself it will take a lot of time." I finally said it.

"Of course I'll help," she smiled at me, damn I love this girl "But first we will get food and drinks for you to have here, after that we started cleaning and you will tell me how your meeting with the alpha went."

I took her car keys and we went to get food. Once we were done shopping, we went home put the food in the fridge and started cleaning. While we cleaned I told Liz about Dean. She laughed when I told her how I called him.

"You call the alpha of this pack 'STD'?" she asked in disbelief.

"Yep and he calls me 'Virgin freak'." she laughed more.

"I mean he is not wrong, you are a virgin." she is siding with him. Bitch.

"Oh shut up." I punched her her shoulder lightly.

"You know, you can lose you virginity to someone other than him." I knew who she meant 'him' but I don't know if I'm ready to do it yet. "Besides, from my research the alpha is hot."

"Of course, you and your research." I'm not surprised. Liz is always this protective and I'm sure she also did research if there was a killer in this town. That's Liz, she is weird and crazy but at the same time smart. "And he may be hot, but still I don't think I want to lose my virginity now. It kinda is a big deal for me. You know."

"I know. But... the alpha is hot, can I have him. I mean I could come and train here too." I laughed at her. "I'm not joking."

"Yeah, sure."

We continued to clean after three hours we were done. To tired to cook anything, we ordered pizza and crashed on the couch. We put on I movie I had and ate our food.

"You can stay tonight if you want too." I said to her.

"Thanks for recommending that because Fey and school boy are staying at our apartment tonight and I don't want to hear any unwanted voices. I love my sleep and I hated when it's disturbed." that's true. She becomes a zombie when you disturb her sleep.

"Yeah well I'm tired so I'm going to sleep. You can sleep in my room, I'll sleep at me parents. Night." I said and headed upstairs.

"Night."

I woke up at half past six. Damn, I'm late. I didn't even take I shower I just got dressed, left a note for Liz to hide the keys somewhere and text me where. I jogged to the training grounds. When I got there everybody was engaged on doing something.

"Good afternoon, sleeping beauty." said Dean, his voice full of sarcasm. "Was the prince late for your wake up kiss."

"It's not even six, don't be such a drama queen." or maybe it is.

"I don't care. I said training starts five sharp in the morning." wow he is starting to act like an alpha. "You'll run three laps extra." I can't even do two. He wants me to do three EXTRA.

"Oh come on, I'm new don't be hard on me." I said trying to play nice, cause my sarcasm isn't getting me anywhere.

"Oh dear this is not me being hard on you." he chuckled, a dark chuckle. "You still have a lot to see."

He is lying. Right? "He is not lying." said a man, confirming my thoughts. He was coming this way and had probably overheard our conversation. I didn't recognize him.

"Hey Lily, is nice to see you again." he knows me!? I started at his electric blue eyes, who look quite familiar. His lips lifted in the corner making a smile and that's when I remembered.

"Nick!" I said, quiet happy that I've seen him.

"The one and only." he said and smiled wider. "Good to know you haven't forgotten about me." he joked.

"Oh my god, I haven't seen you since we were..." I tried to remember.

"Thirteen years old. Yeah I know." Nick and I were friends since we were little. He was always the boy any parent wanted, nice, smart, and didn't get into troubles. Well he didn't, until he met me. I on the other hand, was the most disobedient pup in the pack. At first Nick didn't like me. His parents told him to stay away from me and like the obedient pup he was he listened to them.

Yeah he stayed away from me and whenever he would see me he would give me disgusted look. So me being a me. Made my mission to annoy him to death. Wherever he would go I would go with him expect from home. I would steal his pencils, eat his lunch, take his done homework. I would also embarrass him infront of the class. He hated me even more.

Until one day a boy was tugging on my braids hard and Nick saw that. Nick started fighting with the boy for bulling me, the didn't bully anymore. And from that day I named Nick my boyfriend. At first he objected but I was so stubborn I still remember I would say to him "You are my boyfriend and I'm your girlfriend." And like that we were boyfriend and girlfriend.

Before Nick turned thirteen, a tragedy happened that caused Nick to lose his parents. That day not only Nick lost his parents, his biggest supporters but also the pack lost the beta pairs. After that Nick's maternal grandparents took him to their pack, Water pack.

"Damn, I missed you." I said and hugged him. He hugged me back.

"Okay this is not a soap opera." Of course Dean had to interrupt. We broke the hug "Lily you have five laps to run and then we start with the first bases."

"What!? Five? Do I look like Flash to you?" Is he serious.

"I'm your alpha you'll do what I say. Don't make add more." I threw my hands up in surrender and started running.

"So how have you been girlfriend?" Nick said joining me.

"Good, what about you boyfriend?" I said teasing back.

"Better." he said and I remembered how much his parents death had hurt him.

"So no sexy girls in your life?" I asked, wiggling my eyebrows.

He laughed "Sexy girls? A lot."

I pretended to look hurt "No wonder why you forgot about me." he laughed more.

"What about you? Is there someone who I need to beat up?" my mind immediately went to Heron. Still no texts and no calls from him. I know it hasn't been a long time but still this is so unlike him. Nick must have read my expression because he said "Tell me everything."

I hesitated about telling him. I've just seen him for the first time in many years, how am I supposed to tell him. I'll just give him a short summary. So I told him about Heron and what's going. He listened patiently, proving that he is a good listener. When I was done we had already ran three laps. Only two more but my legs are begging me to stop. I'll just do one more lap and that's enough.

"Yeah and that's all what happened." I said shrugging like it's nothing.

"It's okay. You already have a boyfriend." he said gesturing to himself. I rolled my eyes but still smiled.

"Now its your turn. Tell me what have you been doing all these years."

"Well after I left to the Water pack, I trained there for the beta position, I also trained my powers." my mouth fell wide open. He has powers.

"You have powers." I asked. He nodded.

"My mom was from the Water pack, and they have the ability to control water but not fully never fully. Not even the Alpha Naida. Thought she still is the strongest one. So when I turned sixteen I had that power but didn't know how to control it. That's why my grandparents took me. To train me." Yeah, I've heard of the four female alphas.

They were sisters but not by blood. It was their power that connected them:

First was alpha Kenna, everyone feared her, she was the worst and controlled the element of fire, no wonder why they called her Fire Demon. Her pack was Fire pack;

Second was alpha Naida she was also feared but not as much as Kenna, and she controlled the element of water. Her pack was Water park;

Third was alpha Gaia, she was a nature sweetheart, loved the nature and it was her only weakness and you can guess her element was earth. She was the alpha of the Earth pack;

And lastly but not lastly was alpha Rìona, we didn't know a lot about her. We only knew that she controlled the element of air and that she was the alpha of Air pack.

Their packs were name after their powers. The four of them were known to be deadly, no pack dared to mess with them.

Some of the packs possessed powers and every werewolf who was originally of that pack possessed their alphas power. But not the same amount the alpha possessed. It depended on their ranks. That's why Nick had powers because of his mother genes.

"So if you want to drown someone you can easily do it?" I asked, he laughed.

"Yes I could."

"Well you wouldn't mind drowning Dean cause he has got on my nerves?" he laughed.

"That's not a nice thing to say about your alpha." Yeah that's not, but do I care? No.

"Anyway what are you doing here?" he told me about his powers but not what he is doing here.

"I'm supposed to be here," he said not giving me a full answer. I raised an eyebrow at him. "My dad was the beta of this pack, so after him I'm supposed to take over. So yeah, I'm the beta here."

"But when did you come back?" Because as long as I remember after his parents death, came the third in the command to take the position.

"After I turned eighteen." How didn't I see him, I lived here until I was eighteen. "After I arrived, I first came to your house but you had moved out to the city, a month ago. Your parents told me that you didn't want to see anybody from here. That's why I didn't came to say hi."

My parents hadn't lied to him. I had really said that. Can you blame me? I was so tired of the people that lived here. That's why nobody knew my address expect from my parents.

"Yeah, well I had no idea that you would come back, otherwise I would tell them to not say that to you." I laughed awkwardly.

"Yeah." he smiled an understanding smile. "We are done let's go now."

I groaned not wanting to training combat. "Dean is going to beat my ass."

"Yeah he actually is really serious when it comes to training." just like James. Damn no Lily you don't remember them anymore, they probably have new Luna right now they have forgotten about you. Dean saw that I had finished and started coming this way.

"Come on grandma, tell me what you know." said Dean. Nick left with a quick goodbye. I showed Dean what I knew.

"You only know the basics."

"Well it's not like I trained a month there." I said with sarcasm. "And besides isn't that's all what training it's about."

"You are also virgin to this." here he goes with the virgin puns again. "I'll show you a real training."
